Good for a cheap, quick cut. I wouldnt recommend it for anything beyond that. I kept over hearing the stylists ask basic questions while developing one of the customers. That person left with Mac and cheese hair that looked like a bright yellow yarn ball. Oh, boy...

Went here to get a buzz cut for the first time, because I didnt want to go to my usually place since its a good 30 minutes away and figured I would try this place by my house, and had the worst haircut of my life.The place was very clean, and smelled fantastic, but if you need any type of buzz cut avoid this place. It was very unevenly cut, and the edges were never done, when I got home and looked at it in better light you could notice every single piece that was missed and unevenly cut, the left was longer than the right and certain spots had much more hair.Had to go to my original barber the same day to get it fixed. They immediately noticed and thought I cut it myself, they couldnt believe I paid for the work this location did.I wish I could get my money back, I am extremely disappointed, I highly do not recommend this place if you need any type of mens haircut that uses a buzzer.

Back in April 2012, I got my hair done at the Lemon Tree in East Meadow. It came out absolutely horrible. This was my first and last time ever going to this salon again. I always heard mixed reviews about this salon, but I figured Id get my hair done here anyways...big mistake! I went there for a total of two visits: the first time I went to have my hair permed and the second time (a week later) I went back to have it colored. After I had my hair permed, the hairdresser told me to come back a week later to have it colored, which I did. I went back to the salon a week later and had it colored. After she was done coloring my hair it looked horrible! My hair came out dry and started breaking. The inexperienced hairdresser at the salon caused this server damage. I do not mind spending money on getting my hair done, but this was absolutely a waste of money. Not only did I have to pay for the perm and the color, I had to pay for conditioning treatments done at another salon (since I would never go back to Lemon Tree in East Meadow again). In the process of coloring my hair, they removed the highlights I already had. So not only did I waste my hard earned money on getting my hair done, I had my hair ruined by this salon. In addition, I was so embarrassed when people came up to me and asked what happened to my hair because it looked so bad after having it done at the Lemon Tree. After I had my hair ruined by this salon, I showed the owner the damage they did to my hair. She refused to refund me my money. They are very cheap and incompetent at this salon. I would highly recommend you do not use this salon.

Came here for the first time today. Maria cut my hair and I absolutely love it. Have been going to the same place for 30 years but will be a regular here now!

I walked into this busy Lemon Tree located in East Meadow NY on a busy Saturday morning and they were able to squeeze me in with very little wait time. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The shampoo girl was great. Did a great job. Lisamarie did my cut and blow out. She was very good at listening to exactly how I wanted my hair cut and giving me just what I asked for. Just a trim as I love my hair long and clean cut looking. No tears today lol Lisamarie did an amazing job cutting and styling my hair. The cost was beyond reasonable as I have paid triple what I paided here at high end salons and not been happy at all. Great Salon with amazing talent. Ive finally found a permanent hair dresser! My wife called to get a quote for my daughter. After the cut the price was higher than the quote over the phone. Not good business practice. We wont be returning.

I asked them to cut about 2 inches and the lady because she was talking cut more then i asked. when i came for my appointment to the ladies proceeded to talk and i waited even if i had an appointment at that time and i came early. never going back

Get my haircut hear about every 6 weeks. Clean place and friendly staff. Ask for Cathy and tell her I sent you.

I had a women named evi I will never go back there again...She chopped the backed of my hair up half 2inches shorter then rest also had two chunks of hair missing when brushed down...It looked horrible...Yes everyone is nice but after this experience I wont go back
