We are happy with our team from Housekeeping Associates. Its nice to have the same team come most weeks, that way they get familiar with our house and we get comfortable with the job they do. We only started having our house cleaned this year and the crew at Housekeeping Associates made it easy from the start. They listened to the special needs we have and did a good job of taking care of them each week. Were always glad to see them come and when we see them go we know we will be ready to start another week with a clean house.

In summary, this company has issues with inconsistent cleaning quality, inattention to home security, and problems with billing and management. The most egregious issue was that they often failed to lock my front door behind them-- whether someone was home or not. I hired them to clean my house twice per month. I think this company would be fine for a one time or two time cleaning for a house that is dirty, but I would strongly recommend against hiring them for regular maintenance cleaning, given my experience. The company cost me more time and energy than it saved me. Overall, some things would be done very well that I didnt list as a priority, whereas my top priorities (such as vacuuming rugs) were sometimes not done at all or were done poorly. At first, the cleanings were done pretty well, but then the quality started to slip until one day I came home to a house that was not cleaned at all-- the toilets still had a ring around them, the sinks were still dirty, the floors still had lint and dust, and the stove and countertops still had crumbs. They also turned up my thermostat (even though someone was home and they were only there for one hour), didnt turn the thermostat back down before leaving, and didnt lock the door. I asked someone to call me to discuss, giving the times when I was available, and I received a call back and a voicemail during a time I explicitly said I would not be available. In compensation, the manager did not apologize or take responsibility for the door being unlocked and offered me only a small discount (around 15 to 20%) off my next cleaning (for a cleaning I had to redo myself.) Then I just received an email with the invoice again without any follow up about whether their proposed resolution addressed the problems. They made an effort to improve, and the next few cleanings were good, but then problems reemerged. Additionally, they charge for using a credit card, but then expect payment to arrive the day that they sent the invoice. Even though I sent a check the day I received the invoice on every occasion but one, on multiple occasions they charged my credit card when I had confirmed by email that the check was in the mail. I also received a bill for a check that they had received two weeks earlier, and I didnt receive a response when I emailed to say that the bank confirmed it arrived but it had not been deposited. They also left barkeepers friend smeared all over my sinks, stoves, fridge, and dishwasher until I asked them to stop using it-- they scratched my dishwasher by using barkeepers friend against the grain of the stainless steel, contrary to the explicit directions on the bottle. (I didnt even complain about the damaged dishwasher...I kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.) I finally emailed to cancel the service (about four months in) after one of their staff members walked in street shoes all over the clean hardwood before leaving, leaving footprints everywhere. And they had left our front door unlocked again. I didnt receive a response or apology. I had to call to follow up to get my house keys back. One of the managers was willing to deliver them, which I appreciated, but at the end of the day, we paid to rekey our home due to our lack of trust in this company.

I bought a new house and hired Housekeeping Associates to come clean the empty house. I hired 2 people for 3 hours- so 6 hours of total cleaning time. I asked them to focus on the bathrooms and kitchen. They used some spray to wipe off the counters, but did not scrub or deep clean anything. After they left there was still dirt on the walls. They did not bother cleaning the walls/baseboards. I figured 6 hours to focus on 1.5 bathrooms and a kitchen would suffice. I also left the house and came back before they were scheduled to be done, and they were gone. I called the company and they charged me up until the minute the company car said it was turned on- which said they left 45 minutes early. It was a complete waste of money and I would never recommend them to anyone. Plus, if I didn’t come home then I would have been charged the full time.

This service has been cleaning my home for a few months now. They do an outstanding job! The sinks and mirrors are sparkling every time! The girls are very friendly and easy to work with. I have a dog and small children so my floors are most important to me to get cleaned...and they definitely deliver! My floors are beautiful afterwards. I would highly recommend Housekeeping Associates to anyone!

I keep walking by my windows thinking that they are open because they are so clean and clear! He was professional and friendly and accommodating. My son and husband use one bathroom and I use the master bathroom. My son calls their bathroom, the boys bathroom. He says, mom, you cant go into the boys bathroom. Lucky for me, cuz its quite icky! Ha!The ladies from Housekeeping Associates just finished cleaning all of our bathrooms. I am so grateful for them. Housekeeping Associates has helped me out on three occasions when I was overwhelmed with helping care for dying family members, and years later, I could not take care of my home because I was ill and didnt know it but I was stricken with cancer and shortly after they cleaned for me, I had to have a major surgery. Sometimes we just go-go-go and dont stop to appreciate how important it is to keep our home clean, and how hard it can be to do such a seemingly simple thing. The teams at Housekeeping Associates do an excellent job with minimal intrusion into your daily routine. Whether you want it cleaned for a special occasion, need help only once in a while, or on a regular basis, you can place your trust in Housekeeping Associates. Wanted to give negative rating but cannot. Very pathetic management. Scheduled for 1 to 3 PM appointment but they arrived at 11 as their prior appointment got cancelled. So they expect us to change our schedule to accommodate their timings. When I said i cannot make it at 11 as I had other appointment, they started arguing that they expect the client to be available and do not care what clients timings are. Hopeless and worst management ever who are not polite even on their mistakes. They did not want to come back at 1 PM and had to cancel the appointment.

I asked for help cleaning in a relatives home which had not been cleaned in years. I was afraid a cleaner might come and refuse to clean, it was so bad. The two women who came were spectacular and certainly not afraid of diving in and getting it to decency again.

First cleaning was great with experienced and fun ladies. Twice? Different girls, could care less and basically did nothing. Dont come back.

I was not happy with the service! It took 3 people a combined 7.2 hours to clean 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. The refrigerator was still not cleaned properly! They didnt even vacuum the house!
