Whoever you have answering your phones is highly insensitive and rude!! For a place that’s called “Positive Reset”, it’s ironic just how rude your staff is! I called to try to inquire and get an appointment and I was spoken to in a very rude tone, almost as if having the conversation in the first place was a burden to this person. If you work in a PSYCHIATRY practice, you should know to be respectful and sensitive when someone is trying to get help !

My experience with Dr Felix Ramos was very professional also my therapist Jasmine was extremely kind !My reason for giving only 4 stars was back in January 2019 they refused to treat me because I only had the usual copay for Dr visit being it was a new year I didn’t realize my deductible was due at time of appointment not having my credit cards on hand they refused me even though I had no balance from previous visits Now for the reason I am leaving a review at all is because of Mr Jeff Weisslitz. Beware of this so called Dr he will look you in the eyes & lie to cover insurance fraud & identity theft his office committed to obtain a controlled substance! It was certainly not Positive Reset it was stress care of NJ Manalapan! Since 3/19 Jeff was arrested 3 times by the Manalapan police depot not related to the crimes I mentioned ! I only saw Jeff a few sessions at stress care. But it was the way he handled the crimes committed that CONCERNS me & should you !! Felix was more than honest with me as Jeff made the mistake to blame a mistake in the paperwork!

The worst place to to go. these people do not care about your time. waited 40 mins PAST my appointed time to speak to Janet who likes to judge people with her head shaking in disapproval or when she likes to state statistics numbers that have nothing to do with anything. NOT EVERYONE IS THE SAME. people want to be treated as humans, everyone is just a number here. If you need a positive support center I suggest you go elsewhere because this place isnt it.

I was referred to this facility by an existing patient that is actually benefiting from counseling by a female therapist. I decided to try it but her therapist was totally booked so they gave me an appointment with Fidel at 4:15pm but was told to come in at 4pm to fill out paperwork so that no time would be taken away from my 45 minute session. Fidel called me in at 4:38pm and ended at 5:12pmSo my 45 minutes were cut down to 34 minutes. I expected a kind and compassionate professional to greet me, however he was quite the opposite. He was very rude, aggressive, hostile and judgemental. He told me that my wife should have left me and that I didn’t look like someone seeking help because I seemed relaxed and happy. I explained that all though I sometimes suffer from depression I was having a really good day and felt positive about helping myself through professional therapy. It really seemed to bother him that I was not totally broken and he began verbally attacking me and was extremely negative. I am reporting him to the medical board. My fear is that a suicidal person seeking his help would actually be driven to suicide. He was provoking me to anger and antagonizing me. Please beware of this predator that uses his so call THERAPIST title to actually try to hurt and intimidate vulnerable people. SHAME ON YOU and at this facility for employing you.

I am updating my review from my previous one star to four stars. Four stars because once again there was conflict and confusion at the front desk about the appointment time, also the previous interaction (see below for original post).I saw Jeff this evening and I was treated as a person was listened to with both sympathy and understanding. Jeff is a great conversationis and provides value to the session. I felt that the second chance for this facility was challenging for me but I am glad I came back to give it another shot. I am happy with my experience and would recommend Jeff as a therapist any day.Previously rating on 1 star. The front desk is horrible inefficient in giving information or booking appointments and mostly in no way equipped to process medical insurance . I had called a month previously to my appointment explaining my situation so I could be put with the right therapist. I was constantly explaining the same thing over and over again to several different people. When I finally had my appointment even though I arrived 20 minutes early they took me 15 minutes late. They had several issues with my insurance which I have had not any other issues with my other doctors. I had to pay out of pocket for a shorten visit with a rude therapist Sarah George. She right off the back had issues with me questioning the front desk saying I was anxious and aggravated. Not for nothing but I I am paying for a service and receiving a lack luster minimum at best. Should I have felt any less. My second appointment was even worse they again took me late after another rude onslaught of receptionist inability to process paperwork. I had my daughter with me she is two which I made sure was ok at the last appointment. The room Sarah put us in was filled with paints, glass figuring and two chairs. Now the last appointment room had a couch and toys this did not. So it was an instant melt down and Sarah couldnt handle it so she ended the appointment. Then tried to lie to the supervisor that I was yelling. Honestly what a shame because your supervisor did not hear me yelling. If she felt uncomfortable with me as a patient then she never should have took me again. Maybe even chose a different profession because I got nothing from the appointment and didnt even get to speak in fact the reception probably has heard me out more than she did. The supervisor did try to correct the situation however time is not on my side so I got to figure something else out. All in all this place needs better informed staff and Sarah George needs some sensitivity training or a dose of common sense dont put a mother and child in a situation like that. I felt like a part a of a sick joke almost.

Hard to believe something negative about him. It makes sense as to why he would say to a patient on the first day that coming when you’re supposed to is important because if you don’t it really can mess up his whole schedule, so it makes sense as to why he would say that. We have a great jobs & i enjoy my time there. i recommend MICHAEL BROWN to anyone looking for someone to speak too. he’s very suitable with all ages.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This place has been the single worst mental health clinic experience I have had. They are not timely with their appointments. They barely ever call to confirm. They switched facilities and did not inform me. I arrived at their previous residence and was charged for missing my appointment that day even though I was not made aware that they had switched buildings. They also did not inform me of a doctor change. Their secretary staffing is lazy and takes more than appropriately ample time to schedule and give appointments out. They are absolutely atrocious with prescriptions for medication. My pharmacy has had to give me medication themselves from a not-yet-given prescription simply because the psychiatrist would not get back to them. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless theyre a fan of experiencing service detrimental to ones health and impromptu labor.

This is the worst medical office I have ever been to. I dont even know where to begin. First, they charged me the price if you do not have insurance for an appointment. This was $250. I HAVE insurance and told them that, I even personally gave them the information. Then, they proceeded to fight me to return it and wanted to only offer this as credit towards future appointments. Then, for prescriptions, I needed the doctor to give prior authorization to the pharmacy. This is a VERY easy task, where they need to simply call the pharmacy. Well, TWICE it took them almost two weeks to do this. They kept telling me they did it already, and the pharmacy said they had not even contacted them. Every time I called this office they would give me attitude that they already did it and that it was the pharmacys fault. Let me tell you it was 100% this offices fault, because it is run by completely incompetent people. I spent two weeks on the phone, wasting hours on fixing their mistakes. If you want a long, continuing headache, by all means go to Positive Reset.

My OB recommended I find a therapist when I was clearly suffering from postpartum depression. Id never had to seek any mental health help before, so I felt terrified at the very thought of being so vulnerable in front of a complete stranger. I read negative reviews about Positive Reset, which scared me even more, but I had to take a first step so I decided to try them anyway. They were able to make my first appointment very quickly, within 48 hours I think. The girls up front are welcoming, quick to sign me in, and courteous to everyone that comes in. I see Michael for therapy and I very quickly felt comfortable enough to let him in and let him help me. Hes easy to talk to and really wants to see his clients make progress. Im glad I gave this place a chance! Theyve made a huge difference in my life!

Michael Brownbridge was my therapist for around half a year. He was excellent and helped me to see the world more clearly. He even took time out of his busy schedule to take emergency phone calls from me when I had anxiety attacks. He was very respectful and was punctual with his appointment times, and when he did get backed up or came in late, he would always give me a heads up which is so considerate. He went above and beyond. That being said he is the only reason why I give this office more than one star. Because of the negligence of the billing department/insurance company, I discovered that for 2 months my insurance hadn’t been paying Positive Reset. No one told me about this. I thought I owed nearly $3k at the time since each session without insurance costed over $100. I had to go through a whole fiesta dealing with that. I needed to stop seeing Michael because of this billing issue and my mental health declined through the stress of it. I would never recommend this office because of everything I had to go through; I am still dealing with the repercussions a year later. Michael Brownbridge is an awesome therapist though highly recommend him!

The management seems to be helpful but theres only so much they can do. How you treat your customers reflects the quality of your business. Maybe implementing customer service training so they can get the key skills and attitudinal changes to deal with your patients.

They had me see someone with credentials other than what I had requested, claimed they needed to get a history, and promised on my next appointment I would see the appropriate person, then gave me a large bill.On the second visit they had me see a woman who claimed she had zero information available to her from my previous visit and asked me all the same questions again. She then made me sit there while I was in tears in the middle of explaining to her how I was feeling, and accepted a call from CVS, having a 20 minute conversation with them regarding someone elses insurance. I should have left at that point, but was hoping so much for some help. She then stated that she wouldnt be able to help me at that visit, but I should come back for another appointment to see someone else and I would be helped then. The therapy I received at Positive Reset was a hopeful attempt with a useless staff. Hey everybody, I have been with my current treatment team at Positive Reset consisting of Sharlynn LSW and Dr. Leslie Linet for around 7 months. They provide exceptional service and are helping to begin my healing process. Through therapy and medication management weve started treating my conditions. Throughout this year they have been a tremendous help and deserve 5 Stars and A++. (P.S. - Please remember this is a high volume clinic. Positive Reset accepts most if not all insurance including Medicaid. Also they may offer sliding scale from what Ive heard. There may be a wait and sometimes they will let you know before hand. The receptionists have called before my appointments pretty much every time as I can remember and do their best and deserve 4 Stars and A+; only because some provide better service than others etc.) Overall Positive Reset deserves 5 Stars and A++;especially because of my treatment team. I will be sure to post a review again about my further experience(s) in the future. Thanks very much.

I, myself am not a patient here, my sister is though. I dont even understand why they bother scheduling appointments for specific times, because youll just be waiting a ridiculous amount of time (Im talking hours) in their incredibly small, stuffy waiting room. The staff (or nurses, if thats what you want to call them) are not the nicest people. I would go as far as to say they are pretty rude. My sister is happy with her doctor, & has never had an issue with him, however the women running the front are always giving her (& other patients as well, Im sure) a hard time about something. They tried charging her for an appt she never even had. She wasnt even a patient here at the time they were saying she owes from. Plus she has insurance so she shouldnt be getting charged at all. Moral of the story, if youre looking for a psychiatrist & mental health help, make Positive Reset your very last resort If your unable to get into any other facility.

2nd update: advanced practice nurse Ola called my from her car for an appointment. She ordered the wrong medication from the pharmacy as well. Then made nothing but excuses. Maybe if you called me from an office with your notes... Maybe you would order the right medicine. This place is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to quality of services. You have been warned.Update: My original review is below. I am raising my review from 1 star to 3 stars. I would give my new therapist 5 stars but this is a review on the facility as a whole... Not him.I still believe that if I had been someone on the edge of disaster, my previous experience here would have made me throw my hands and not return... Potentially missing out on an experience they could have saved my lifeSince writing that review I have began having weekly sessions with Michael Brownbridge. Hes a wonderful therapist: extremely passionate, insightful, intelligent, and remembers everything. Most of all he is experienced. Without self-disclosing too much he is able to let me know he understands and has faced many of the same challenges I have faced and am currently facing. He also uses a lot of Buddhist anecdotes to teach lessons or to help me gain insight.Reading my old review makes me chuckle. Perhaps my poor luck with this facility was part of the big plan so I could find a great therapist. Funny the way things work out.Original review:I havent had good luck with this place. I can identify with a lot of the comments. Very disorganized and not very courteous.I have seen David Cooper twice. He seems very aloof and lifeless and really did not seem to care. He then told me he could only see me on a monthly basis. I told him I need more than that and he said I am welcome to see someone else... that was after having me come in when he was running an hour late. Didnt bother to call me with how late he was running. I went all the way there waited a half hour to see him when he told me someone was a session ahead of me. It was very inconsiderate. Then they made me an appointment with a psychiatrist but the doctor told me he couldnt treat me while I was on methadone and that the clinic knew that and should not have schedules me with him. This wasted six weeks. Eventually I got medicine from my primary because I was tired of waiting.I have an appt with Michael Brownbridge tonight. I hope he is better than his colleagues. This place has been a sad excuse for a mental health clinic. I could see this place possible hurting someone unstable. They are very irresponsible. Wish me luck on my appt. If I have a better experience I will update my review.

Stay FAR away from this place. I am disgusted that these people are still in practice. I saw a therapist named David the first time I came here, after finally mustering up enough courage to actually see a therapist after years of suffering from depression and anxiety. I sat down and he asked me what he could do for me.I had never done this before and I expected to have been asked questions to try and get to know me and better explain what I would need help with, but he just sat quietly and had me speak. I told him that I was dealing with a lot of depression and anxiety in my life. He told me (after less than 5 minutes of conversation) that I seemed to be a positive person. That I was young and didnt seem to actually be dealing with the issues I was describing and he wouldnt be giving me medication. I explained that I didnt come to get any meds, I came for the opposite reason of NOT having to take any more medication as I was already on enough for my treatment of Fibromyalgia. He told me that other people are so depressed that they cant even get out of bed. I tried to explain that I have days like this as well, but I was cut off and yet again told I didnt seem like I actually had these problems. He then told me that I could continue coming if I needed someone to talk to for validation and that he would always tell me what I wanted to hear and (I quote) not make any sexual comments toward you. Because being a female automatically means a professional therapist would make sexual comments? I left feeling worse than before and was disgusted by this guy. I wondered how many times women were dismissed, and if I had actually come home and harmed myself because of not being taken seriously, would he have been held accountable for turning me away as I was seeking help?I tried coming again to see a different therapist named Julia. I told them that I had to pick up my daughter from school so I made my appointment an hour and a half in advance. I understand if someone runs 10-15 minutes late, but this therapist was now an hour late and all they could say was shell be done soon. So I couldnt stay and decided to leave. Nobody offered to reschedule my appointment or anything. I called later that day to receive a refund for what I paid out of pocket for that day and was told they couldnt do that. When I threatened to dispute it with my credit card company, they angrily responded that they would be sending a check. Its been over 2 months now, and I never received anything. So they STOLE my money for a service they never provided.Needless to say I will be reporting this company ASAP. Organizations like this are the reason so many people are scared to seek help and its dangerous to people who truly need it.Editied to respond:Im not sure how you can say that all of your therapists are dedicated to provide a high level of professional care from what I described. What I experienced was being brushed off from a less than 10 minute conversation of which the therapist didnt even attempt to ask me questions to gauge where my mental health was at. He blatantly assumed something about me while ignoring what I was actually saying, which is incredible dangerous to someone who is trying to seek help. That is the least professional thing I have ever experienced and could one day potentially cost someone their life.As far as my co-pay, I dont doubt that it was written in your system that the check was refunded to me when I was told it would be, however, I never received any check and my bank records show that.

I transferred to this place after moving here from NY and the doctor literally said that my mental illness doesnt exist lol. I have IED, and his response was What is that? That doesnt exist. Oh, so you just get angry. Thats weird, because 7% of the population has it anyone can easily google it. It honestly felt like I had a better education in psychology than the doctor sitting before me. I almost couldnt believe it. All I could think was does this guy really work here? lol crazy, stay away.

My name is Kevin OHara, before I leave my personal review, Id love to point out that I was referred to Positive Reset by !ANOTHER PSYCHIATRIST! and a very high-end internal medicine physician. Firstly, the front desk is run by very competent fairly educated women that went out of THEIR WAY for ME when my so-called other Psychiatrist randomly and without warning stopped accepting my HMO. Well PR got me into see the therapist immediatelly and set-up a close-to-date appointment with the doctor, Felix, who I will mention IS there for your best interests, and is not afraid to prescribe the necessary medicine for you, if its within reason. The office manager, who is totally swamped with work, took/spent 40 minutes arranging transportation pulling her teeth to get logisticare to start picking me up, now she did it with vigorous passion and ended up filling a complaint and ultimately won the day, now I get my rides to see micheal, who I might add is a BRILLIANT and caring therapist, I get to see Felix who is awesome and knows more about medicine on a chemical and personal level than most physicians, overall this office has controlled my anxiety, my addiction, my thought process and my transportation to and from the facility, I have personally recommended 7 clients, ALL who now attend and I have another on the way, if you need quality service, amazing therapy and a prescriber that will give you the benefit of the doubt, Id try this place in a HEART-BEAT, thanks Positive Reset and see you soon at my next appointment in 10days!!! 👊😁👊

I have been going to this facility for over a year. I cant say I have anything bad to say about this facility. I had a different therapist for over a year who recently left Positive Reset and since then my new therapist is Michael Brownbridge. I have never had to wait to get into my appointment with him. As a courtesy if a client of his doesnt show up for their scheduled appointment, he does let me know that I can come in earlier to see him. We clicked right from the start and I have nothing negative that I can say about him. I look forward to my appointments every week. If you know you will not be able to make it your appointments its common courtesy to let the facility or your therapist know so the can cancel your appointment and give someone else a chance to fill that spot. Some facilities have long waiting lists. Also if your not consistent with your appointments your only hurting yourself. Therapy is not going to work if you keep canceling/not showing up! Love this facility! Michael Brownbridge, Bianca, and Kia (sp?) I always look forward to seeing you on Wednesday! Keep up the great work!! :)

If I were asked to write a review for Positive Reset last week, I would have given them a good review. I didnt have any major issues with the company until my appointment yesterday. When you become a new patient, youre asked to sign a waiver that if you have to cxl an appointment with less than a 24hr notice, youll pay their $50 fee. I understand this scare tactic well having managed medical offices myself, but there are always exceptions to every rule. If a patient is a repeat offender, then yes, they should be charged the late fee. If a patient is on time for every appointment and has never cxled an appointment with less than a 24hr notice, then the first time it happens, you waive the fee. Its that simple. Were all adults, and we happen to run into emergencies such as illness, car accidents, and god forbid deaths of our loved-ones; mine happened to be an illness. Overnight I had gotten the flu and called hours ahead of my appointment with barely a voice to speak with apologizing for my cancellation. They immediately mentioned the $50 fee, which I then asked if obviously theyd waive the fee this one time. They said they were sorry, but that is just their policy. The only other option the receptionist I spoke to gave me was to put some alert on my chart so eventually I could speak to an owner about it. In this scenario, I would still have a $50 fee to my name. Why would I want that? I called my therapist crying, and she said she was very sorry, but its the companys policy. She, as the THERAPIST, couldnt even help me. That is unacceptable. A patient that is seeking mental health treatment should NOT have to worry after a car accident if theyre also going to be charged $50. Where do you draw the line? I understand this is a business, but youre in the business of helping people; have some empathy and compassion! I shouldnt have been made to come to my appointment yesterday with the illness and symptoms I have. It is 100% unacceptable and this facility should be ashamed. I wanted to write this so that the office can know their patients are not happy with this rule and how they are unwilling to see any exception for it. It makes me sad that they dont value the health of their therapists, receptionists and other patients when they force me to come in to my appointment by threatening me with fees. I brought my illness to the front desk, their iPad signing in, their chairs, their doors, and unfortunately into my therapists room where I sat for the duration of my appointment. I encourage this company to DO BETTER. Do better for your staff and your patients. On a lighter note, my therapist, Alla, is wonderful. The ONLY reason I am able to look past this MAJOR ethical flaw with this company is because of her. She has helped me with CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) since my first appointment. She has never made me feel like Im just a dollar amount; Im treated with respect. She interacts with you, unlike other therapists where its a one-sided conversation. She remembers who you are, your story, and where you left off on your last visit. Shes always paying attention to my every word and encouraging me to do better. Were very honest with each other and she gives timely feedback to my issues. You really can tell she loves what she does; you never feel like an inconvenience. We discuss different options to each scenario, and she pushes me to learn and see things from different angles. She pushes for my independence and well-being, and I just appreciate her so much. She is a wonderful person, genuine, and kind, and I highly recommend her.

I love this place! I have been having very difficult times in my life, and I reached out to see a counselor. I called everywhere and this was the ONLY place that cared enough to get me an appointment immediately. I have been seeing Sharlynn Flores and Maryjo APRN. They are wonderful! In fact, I have doubled my visits with my counselor Sharlynn to 2 days a week. I find her to be very patient, kind and very professional with her advise. I could not get through my crisis without them. The staff is very sweet ad patient and always works out appointments that are best suited for each persons availability without waiting all day. I absolutely would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Thank you Positive Reset for saving my life. G.G.

Would NOT recommend this place. The receptionist are all very nice, but not at all pleased with the therapist or the APN. Went to one therapist and after seven sessions had to change. The therapist was not listening to a word I was saying and if she repeated what I said, she had no idea what I just said and was more interested in asking me the same questions over and over again so she can complete her computer checklist. Not at all pleased with APN. Was extremely rude and then messed up and refused to admit that she made a mistake. I asked for her to do a saliva test to ascertain what medications would be most appropriate for me. I called several times to get the results and was told I would have to come in to discuss them. When I went in for my therapy appt, I requested a copy of the results. To my surprise, what was done was a drug screen. When I went to the APN a week later, she told me that the results did not come in. I presented the results to her and told her that is not what I requested. She replied, We have to do drug screens here. Now why in the world would I request a drug screen when I know what medications I am taking and am not taking any illegal drugs. She then informed me that she could do the test I wanted, but I would have to wait until I see her again (one month) to review. She went on to say that if my current medication is working than why bother. Why bother, because maybe there is another medication more suited for me. At this point, I asked her to give me another months supply of the medication and she said NO. I could not get an appt with a psychiatrist until 6/29/17. I had to call my PMD to get the Rx filled. Would never go back to this place and if I could give it a negative star rating I would, but in order to be able to post, I have to give it at least one star.

I would strongly advise anyone to NOT go to this clinic. My experience with the male counsellor, Fidel Loverton, was unpleasant. His office smelled mouldy, and his clients files were placed on the carpet. He did not even have a cabinet to store them which is unreasonable. His ability to diagnose correctly was extremely questionable. I know what is my diagnosis, had it verified multiple times from therapists covered by my former insurance, and he was unwilling to listen to my supporting evidence. A good therapist may not always agree with what a client says (and vice versa); however, courtesy and respect must be maintained. (I am very aware that the job of a therapist is to help his or her clients progress through lifes difficulties, not be their sympathetic friend who always supports their decisions.) Mr Loverton was harshly judgmental of me. He prided himself with his vast education; however, there is a difference between being educated and being intelligent. As with any healthcare provider, please enquire about his or her academic credentials. It is important that the individual studied at reputable institutions and not for-profit institutions! Please avoid Positive Reset Mental Health Clinic and Mr Loverton!

A family member of mine with a known and documented mental illness and substance abuse has been going there for months. Despite having history for this patient and their known substance issues prior to treatment, they CONTINUE to write scripts for the same substance. Extremely unethical and worrying that they do not properly screen their patients for past issues, and complete lack of accountability.
