We went in for an oil change on our vehicle. We had used this location when it was Oil Can Henry’s and been happy with it. Now that it’s Valvoline, the price is dramatically higher for less service. They couldn’t get the oil filter off. They tried to blame Einstein’s as that is location we had the oil changed at last time. But it had already changed to a Valvoline, so it was not Einstein’s at the time. Then he tried to blame the manager at the other location saying they had problems with him & he had been fired. We had to take the vehicle to the other location to deal with it. They were able to get the oil filter off. But they no longer check lights, blinkers, or air pressure. So you pay more for less service.

Great team. Great staff. Will continue to use this location.

Broc, just absolutely professional and kind. Been coming to this location for a year or two now, and he always welcomes me in and remembers the conversations we had previously. {theyre not always about the cars} great people here. Great work by them. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Super nice staff, they do all the oil changes in my vehicles. Recently had them do a fuel filter on my diesel. Had it done in no time at all. Spent $65 more to have them do it than myself but worth it to have it done quickly rather than when I have time to make room in my garage to do it

Seating is all social distanced outside i. The parking lot. Polit staff, great bread, wasnt that fond of my food though. Have eaten here before and the other dishes I have had were great.

I’ve been coming here for years and have always had super fast, excellent service. Less than 80 miles after my last oil change, which is literally from valvoline to my house, my check engine light came on and my car started acting up. The oil used was too thin and it cost me 158 bucks 👎

We have two newer model GM cars and we have been to this Valvoline 4 times in the past year. All four times they didnt tighten the oil filter enough and the end result was leaking oil - for both cars. All four times. The last time (and the last time I will ever give this place a dime) - I literally told the technician our frustrations and asked him to ensure it is tightened properly. The next morning I look under my car and there was a puddle of oil. The filter was so loose I could turn it by hand. Sadly - this place is inept and their incompetence is inexcusable. They truly dont care either

There guys do an excellent job and most importantly changing my oil now doesnt have to be a several hour process of dropping off my car and returning when it finally made it to the front of the line. Total time both times I took my vehicles here is at most 15 minutes from start to finish.

I bring my vehicles here for basic maintenance. I appreciate not being pushed into work I don’t need. Loren, in particular, is very helpful and knowledgeable. I hope he’ll work here a long time!

Paid $115 for oil change. Skid plate on truck started dragging down the road after going over a speed bump the next morning. Held on by 5 bolts and three screws. Had one bolt and one screw the next day.

Ive always enjoyed getting my oil changed here, fast service and honest. The other day stood out particularly to me. I went for a routine oil change and I was asked if I was happy with my windshield wipers, I stated I actually had just bought some a few days ago, but they were in the trunk of my car and I just hadnt put them on. The man offered to do it for me, and he did. It wasnt anything super extensive and only took a couple seconds but I really appreciated the extra step, so thank you.

I am changing my review of this business because since I have had a small problem in the past, things have been much better. The manager at this location is very nice and goes out of his way to make sure I am happy every time. They have been doing a great job on my service and are always friendly. They are also not pushy when it comes to upselling. They simply advise and move on if you say no. I will continue using this service as long as they continue doing a great job.

The rep whose name was Jesus, only gave me one oil price it was $100 for the oil change. He did not give me any other options. I have had my car in to this location multiple times and the oil change price came to not more than $70. I am very unhappy with the service. They also could not reset my service light on the car. They said that it could only be done at the dealership. Because of the experience I had and the issues that arose I will not ever speak highly of this shop. I don’t know why Jesus could not just look at the previous oil change and do the same services.5/15/2019 - Just talked with Customer service. They said that I got the service I paid for and that I paid the right price. I was a bit annoyed that she did not show any empathy for the work that was done or the experience I had. The only thing she did to resolve the issue was offer me a $10 off coupon the next time I went in. I WILL NOT go back to this place. They do not care about you as a customer. PLEASE.....go to another place. They did not offer me a satisfying resolution as they stated they would below.

These guys are right by my house so I gave them a shot. They seem a lot more efficient than other companies Ive been to. They also are better at their customer service. Any questions I had, they were glad to answer. I think that prices are pretty much the same no matter where you go for an oil change, so go here for better service, efficiency, etc.Shout out to Manager Josh, Steve, and Jeremy! Made me feel like I was at a barber shop having fun hanging out instead of just running errands.

They always explain what they are doing, as well as their recommendations for service on the vehicle, including risks and benefits of different preventative maintenance options. I was very impressed by the service, but the tech ultimately wasnt honest with me when I would need my next change. I paid for the full-synthetic oil change so it would last 5000-7500 miles, not your usual 3000. At the end, the tech put the sticker on my car for 3000 miles and I asked to confirm that I could double that for my next change. He said no, I should do it every 3000 miles because it is a Toyota. Upon speaking to other Toyota owners, Ive learned that it wasnt the truth. I also noticed it was weird when he said it almost as if he was choosing the right answer. Ultimately, it really broke my trust and I wont be using that store anymore- even if the oil change was incredible fast.

Love this place! My left headlight had been super dim after getting it charged at another place so I thought the other place had just put it in upside down or something but when Oil Can Henrys looked at it they saw that it wasnt put in right so it wasnt getting enough power and they then put it in correctly! Headlight fixed! And I had no idea there were air filters behind my glove box!

Went in there this evening for an oil change. They were all very nice, especially Bri. She was very sweet & friendly, also extremely knowledgeable & knew what she was talking about when it came to my vehicle (a Buick with a super charge) Im impressed that she knew what that meant. Give that girl a pay raise. Id go back just to have her again. She is what any employer would want in an employee, excellent costumer service. I always go to jiffy lube, but I decided to chance it glad I did. Its in a convenient spot & hrs go later, perfect for a quick oil change after work. Took them about 10-15 mins. Basic oil change reasonably priced.

I was impressed with this location. I got an oil change, and had brought in a coupon ($10 off an oil change) from a different company. They still honored it. I only had $30 cash on me and I was fifty cents short, and they took two dollars off, which was courteous of them, and I really appreciated it. I came home and found they offer a $15 off coupon 😐 so I was kind of bummed that they didnt tell me about it. Cest la view. Id still recomend.

The most comprehensive and Curtis place I have been to in a very long time

I usually do vehicle maintenance and repairs myself but a oil change was due. My wife was driving to Seattle the next day and I had a $10 off coupon. I get there and they immediately try to sell me a oil change you would put in a Ferrari Enzo tell me I need my differential serviced, radiator flushed, air filter and cabin air filter. First of all I have a k&n air filter. Those are not throw away filters. I was fine with all that thats where they make there money its just annoying.....but I just got home and pulled up to my new house and there is a bunch of oil that leaked from the car over night all over the driveway. Another lesson of....if you want it done right you just have to do it yourself.

Hate to give a one star, they usually lack nuance, however...First they under inflated my tires, they took them down to 28 psi, something my car informed me of shortly after leaving. Not only that, but my car is also informing me to change my oil after only 1 month and a little over 1,000 miles. I have had some synthetic oils in this car for 8,000 miles without issue. In addition to those 2 things, their price is not competitive at all. I recommend avoiding this place.

Avoid this location at all costs! I had been there a few times before and they were expensive but convenient. However, I sent my wife in for an oil change. Two days later we noticed the car was leaking oil. I sent her back to have them check to see if they replaced the drain plug gasket. They looked, said they had done their job right. She called me up from there. I talked with what sounded like a boy. He said it is leaking from the rear main seal. I said,dont you think maybe your guys just did a messy job and this was spilled oil leaking. He said, not at all! I told my wife to head home so I could recheck this myself. They would not let my wife leave. The manager(boy) insisted she get out of the car and climb down into the pit to look under the car. She said she would not, as this is a ridiculous request. Again they would not let her leave until she screamed at them to let her go. Can you believe this? She brought the car home. I looked again and the dripping was not coming from the drain plug, but around where the filter is. I took the car to our mechanic. He said the rear main seal is dry. He put a dye into the oil to check for leaks. He then said, it just looks like they made a mess when the changed the filter and did not clean it up. Sure enough, there was no leak detected by the dye injection.So, all they had to do was fess up for a sloppy job, and now they have lost customers and brought on this bad review. This is called bad management. Avoid at all costs! Now Im adding this note: I called the location to let the manager know how things went and that there was no leak and he hung up on me. I called back to ask did you hang up on me? He said, yes he did. He will not admit a mistake? Im not looking for money, I just thought they might like to know they need to improve their services. He hung up on me again. This is the rudest, most unprofessional behavior I have ever seen in Idaho.

Oil Can Henerys provides the daily newspaper and allows for customers to view vehicle service via video as it is preformed. Michael H., the manager at this location is a friend and I know him to be an honest person.
