Believe the terrible reviews. They delivered over a thousand dollars worth of stuff a week late to the wrong house. The person who discovered my packages contacted me. It’s been 5 days of calling the company and I can’t get anyone to pickup the boxes and deliver them to me, they promise call backs and never do. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life.

Avoid at all costs, not on time, took 6 days for my delivery to travel 9 hours and then they still missed my delivery date and added two more week days for a total of 8 days. By far the worst shipping company I have dealt with and would not recommend to my worst enemy. Believe the bad reviews they will leave you disappointed.

Some of the drivers are pleasant but the overall process of their deliveries is a freaking JOKE!! They shouldnt even give you a delivery window because you can guarantee it wont be delivered during it. I called the day before my delivery and confirmed it was coming 11-3 the next day. 10:30 AM the next day I get a call saying all of their drivers called in sick and they wouldnt be able to delivery my new patio set as promised (funny how they were all sick on the first nice weather Saturday here in Minnesota). I had to reschedule for the following Saturday, this time they promised 10-2. Of course, 2:15 rolls around, no call or word from them, so have to call their customer help line. They put me in touch with the drivers who said they had 3 stops ahead of me and wouldnt be there for another few hours. No one called me to alert me of the delay, no remorse or apologies for me having to sit around all day waiting for them. Like why the F do you even give delivery windows if you arent going to try even a little bit to delivery during them? The most infuriating part is the consumer has no recourse against them and absolutely no choice in who delivers when placing orders. If you can avoid them, do, but if you are stuck with them get ready for a bumpy ride.

Blows my mind how a company like this can keep their doors open. Arrival window 11-3, 6pm I call because nobody came. They said “driver attempted to deliver” which was a lie. I said “my security cameras would tell you otherwise” I was quickly put on hold and a guy picked up saying “I understand you’d like to reschedule delivery” I said “no, I had a delivery scheduled, your options are either, leave it on my porch without signature, or send it back to the merchant” he said they couldn’t leave it without a signature so I told them to send it back. I’ve ordered many things delivered freight and never have had such terrible customer service. They acted as if I was inconveniencing them. I had no choice on which company was shipping this item to me, it was the business I purchased from. However, if I ever receive notification that pilot will be the delivery company, I will know now to cancel the purchase. Pilot and Horchow can deal with it now.

I wish I could give zero stars. Absolutely terrible service. Very unprofessional. I had a delivery scheduled for a Monday with a range from 9am - 1pm. I called at 8:45 in the morning to ask if they could give me a smaller range. I was told that they are way behind this morning and it wouldnt be until 1pm. I then informed them, in reliance upon them telling me the item wouldnt be dropped off until 1, I wouldnt be home, but I would make sure to be home by 1. The lady I spoke with said that is fine and that she would make sure the driver knew. At noon, I got a call from the driver (he left a message since I was at work in a meeting). He said, Ill be to your house soon. I called him back a few minutes later. He didnt answer so I left a message indicating that I would be home at 1 and that I was told he would not be to my house before 1. I also said, if that will be a problem please let me know so I could be home earlier. When I got home before 1pm, I called the driver. He told me, too late I already left your house. He said, we dont wait for customers to get home. I asked if he would come back to deliver my package. He said: Nope. Too bad. You can call customer service to complain. I told him I needed him to drop the item off, because I had a number of installers scheduled to be at my home that evening to install the electronic device I had purchased. He told me that wasnt his problem. I then called customer service and they told me essentially the same thing: not our problem. Pilot made absolutely no effort to get the package delivered to me on that day. I even said I would pick the stuff up from their warehouse. They said, nope, your package wont arrive back at our warehouse until after hours. I said I would meet the driver wherever he is and pick up the packages from him. They said, nope we dont do that.Meanwhile, I have a bunch of installers showing up at my house that early that afternoon. They of course charged me for being there.Now here I am two days later. I have no idea where my package is. I tried calling and they told me that they will reach out to me when they are going to be in the area. All my installers are left completely in limbo and I am left in a position where I cant schedule them to come back to my house.This company is very rude and unprofessional. I will never use them again. Please dont use this company. Stick with UPS or Fed Ex. Ill try to update this post if I ever receive my package, but at this point I feel that might even be doubtful.

I ordered a treadmill from Amazon and it was supposedly delivered on Saturday morning. But after the waiting window, I did not see them come in or hear anything from them, so I called them to find out what happened to my treadmill. They told me that they do not have my phone number so they could not contact me to confirm the deliver time. They wanted me to call in on Monday to reschedule a delivered. Then, I googled this carrier and I was very scared as there were so many bad reviews from other customers. I waited until Monday and surprisingly received a call from them said my delivered was scheduled on Monday after I contacted them on Saturday. However, I was still wondering if they could make it because the snow was crazy heavy on that day (1/22/2018). But they showed up within the window time and helped me to bring the treadmill in. Anyway, I am hoping that they have been slowly improving their service.

Employee stayed late to let me pick up a shipment I had after I let them know I wouldnt be able to make it before they closed. Item was completely undamaged, looked like they took care of it.

One of the worst shipping companies there is. Extremely slow, delays for no reason, and lies from customer service. I was told on Monday this week that I would receive my item on that Friday, and not even from Pilot, I guess they cant be bothered to deliver where I live, but have to transfer it to another carrier. Had to call every day for an update and every day I was lied to and kept being told I would receive it. They couldnt give any reason for the delays. Still waiting.

They were supposed to deliver a queen sized mattress for me, the first one they damaged and I had to refuse it. Now the replacement they claim they lost. What a joke .

Worst experience ever. The item has been delivered to their dock for 6 days now but they cannot locate it. Nor they made an effort to tell me. I make the calls and they keep promising to call me with an update but they never do. Useless shipping company with broken processes.

Worst delivery company ever! They subcontracted another irresponsible company to deliver my package. Ive been waiting 8 days for delivery and their hub is only 2.5 hrs away from me. One excuse after another from customer service and the last one said they lost my package!

Ordered 5 TVs, manufacturer shipped them through Pilot. 2 arrived smashed, obviously severely mishandled. Pilot doesnt care to do anything about it.
