What is it with this company and attitude issues? This is the second time I’ve been here and it will be my last. I’ve dealt with two people today and both had bad attitudes. I checked in for my 6:30 appointment and was promptly told I had a 7:00 appointment. When I questioned him, he got defensive and wanted to show me his schedule. I said that’s ok, I’m not trying to argue, just pointing out that I can show you that I was told I have a 6:30 appointment. I’ve delivered to another location within this company and had the same attitude problem. I won’t be delivering to this company at ANY location again.

I believe they call themselves Essendant now. I was at this address yesterday and found a corresponding relationship online. If I am incorrect, please let me know.I had never been there before. The instant I backed my truck into their receiving door, a guy came out yelling and insulting me. When I tried to nicely talk to him, he interrupted and talked over me. He was completely out-of-line. I had to get away from him to prevent the situation from escalating. You cant get in someones face in a parking lot on a 90 degree day and expect a good outcome! He had me there twice in one day, made me wait in the parking lot for a long time, and did not come out to get me. He eventually decided to re-schedule for a different day after they called to ask me back! Then, somebody had the audacity to call my company and complain about MY attitude. I would have been willing to wait for an appointment time or come back at a specified time, but none was offered. A follow-up with a co-worker revealed that this individual is well-known in the LTL industry for being absolutely horrible to every driver that goes there. He went on to explain if you do everything perfect, this receiving clerk will find things to be irate about. How does he treat people like this every day and still have a job?

Receiving department was rude and if they treat their customers the same way they treat the people bringing in their product I wont recommend this company to anyone!
