This was the most unexperienced group.Go the other way,my truck stayed there 10 days and they finally figured out the problem. Charging me for there stupidity. They changed 2 filters which takes 15 min, and labor on changing fuel pump (I bought the pump)991 dollars.Ill NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAINOwner called himself and fixed the problem and he was very nice and understanding.I like to see this in a business
It seems like the one stars are catching up to the 4s. We cant say which service we used since all we got was a wrong diagnosis for $323.30. Our diesel Ford 7.3 was running rough. They diagnosed it needing injectors 7 & 8 and service would cost almost $3,000.00. We decided to get second opinion, thank God, or truck might need more service like other reviews. We took it to Capital Ford in Hillsborough and they diagnosed it as inner harness coming loose from valve cover gasket connector and gave us a quote for half what East Coast Diesel wanted. When I showed the Capital Ford receipt to lady in East Coast office her remark was we would have found that out after w e took it apart. For $323 dollars they should be able to diagnose as well as Ford dealer. We were told manager would contact us soon as he returned to office, but he never did. Hope this is warning to others. Avoid this place!
I really wish we had a better experience with this company. People on the phone were polite and very responsive but the quality of the work the mechanics do does not match the price they charge. After paying about $3.6K in repairs, the issue we brought it in for was still not fixed. They gave us another quote to do more work on it but they were not sure if that would ultimately fix the issue. We were just not comfortable with paying a few more thousand to let them TRY and fix it. Im not sure if it was the lack of knowledge of the mechanics or lack of confidence they had in fixing the issue but it was not a comfortable experience. We took the truck into a well known dealership that same month that fixed it, its been several months now and have not had any reoccurring issues. We would not recommend this company based on our experience, unfortunately. 2 stars is for the front desk - thank you for being responsive and professional.
I took my LBZ to East Coast, Drew was very helpful and got me in immediately. They treated me very good and everybody was cool. I am for sure coming back.
After reading the reviews of this place I was skeptical to say the least. I kept an open mind though and let them diagnose what was wrong with my semi. They found the problem and to my surprise had things torn down and went to work. After paying and the truck being back together I stepped outside and there was still an issue with my semi. The owner Robert was there and through all the repairs and diagnostics done from Volvo dealerships there was still a dead injector. I literally couldn’t believe what Robert, Pat, Noe and Adan did next. Robert said he’d have it torn down and he’d do it right then since I had a load to pick up in Charlotte in the morning. They stayed until 2am in the morning to get me going!Don’t read into the bad reviews, these guys saved me and my business without even taking payment for the additional costs for the part and labor. (Even the part run at 8:30 PM to Volvo)I highly recommend East Coast Diesel and they will be the only ones touching any of the trucks I get as long as my company is running! (Granted my truck doesn’t break down or need a tow to a different shop)
Little bit of a truck stop !!! Low fuel prices!!! Local drivers take up most of the parking lot leave there cars and take up spots plus a 5 dollar to Park thats not bad
Although the DEF pump they installed was defective through no fault of theirs, they refunded me the cost of the pump and because I had to have it replaced in a different location the refunded the cost of their labor also. Great place I must say!!
Amazing customer etiquette led by Jaison.
I had my 7.3 powerstroke injectors and turbocharger replaced by East Coast Diesel. I have no complaints regarding the injector replacement. I was and still am generally satisfied with the initial repair except it left their shop with an exhaust leak because the v-clamp from the exhaust side of the turbo was not fully tightened.Because the exhaust leak resulted in vapor coming out the dash vents, I had another shop replace the heater core. When this didnt fix the issue, they recommended I take it back to East Coast Diesel to check the v-clamp on the turbo.I took it back to East Coast Diesel and asked them to check and tighten the v-clamp under warranty.East Coast Diesel charged me $127.50 labor plus $17 in shop supplies to diagnose that the v-clamp wasnt tight. They estimated $230 in parts and labor to repair. And the icing on the cake. They noticed that a headlight and a turn signal bulb were out. Their estimate to repair - $20 parts, $255 labor, $71 in shop supplies. Yes, you read that correctly - $341 to replace two bulbs.Of course I declined all service. I was still stuck paying for $127 labor for diagnosis and $17 in shop supplies.Fortunately, in the process of diagnosing the issue they tightened the v-clamp properly and no more exhaust leak.Still I left with a very bad taste because of their effort to turn their minor error into a ridiculously inflated upsell.I asked to speak with the manager / owner prior to writing this review but my request was ignored.I own two diesel trucks and neither of them will go back to East Coast Diesel.I gave East Coast Diesel two stars because:1) They sent me out the door with exhaust leaking into the passenger compartment of my truck which is very dangerous2) They used the loose v-clamp as an opportunity to try to sell me inflated repairsHad East Coast Diesel taken responsibility and simply tightened the v-clamp and sent me on my way when I returned their star rating would have been substantially higher.
Pull up, and step in to setup appointment! Great people, love the puppy! Be ready to leave your truck though! Yours wont be the only one in the parking lot, they stay pretty busy!
Dont even try them .they charging for doing nothing. Over charge .Never again
This is a great bunch of professionals. My chevrolet 2500 Silverado broke down on a business trip. On a Sunday, early morning, they answered their emergency line immediately. They opened their shop for me immediately so I could stage my vehicle there. Blake jumped right in to help me with securing some heavy professional equipment (Not his job but he saw i needed help). They had my issues diagnosed and repaired early the next morning. The mechanic, Richard came out to explain exactly what my issues were and how the problem had been fixed. He also took time to explain how my fuel system issue could be avoided in the future. Under the circumstances this could not have been a better experience. Will definately look for this company if I have future diesel issues. Great folks here., truly interested in getting your issues resolved.
Phenomenal service. When nobody else could stop the constant breakdowns, they did. Very straightforward people, they do business right. Ken kept us informed every step of the way. Replaced my whole fuel system on a 2012 cascadia and Ive been continuously making money since.
2 years ago I broke down on the side of the road with no power and my dash cluster going on and off like a Christmas tree. East Coast Diesel sent out the best service technician I have ever had in my time on the road. Chase Roberts came and immediately assessed the situation with the help of his top of the line diagnostic computer. Chase never hesitated to keep us informed about what was wrong and the necessary steps needed to correct the issue. His professionalism and expert knowledge had me rolling again in no time. That experience has made me an East Coast Diesel LLC customer for life! I would recommend this company and Chase Roberts for any of you’re roadside needs on any heavy duty vehicle.
Theyre good at what they do and theyre very professional. I want to thank ken for working tirelessly to get my spare parts and keeping me updated on my trucks situation. I would recommend other truck divers to go to East Coast Diesel.
Jason did a great job on my truck as usual. I appreciate Jason and East Coast Diesel on their professionalism and urgency on getting my truck running again and getting me home. Thanks and all praises to God!
I was a walk in client who was taken care of immediately. Thanks to the staff from the front service desk to the experts in the shop.
I have been a fleet customer for East Coast Diesel for years now. Robert the owner is one of the best in the industry. Always puts his customers first. Ken is also someone who is always around to answer questions and help get you road service right away. Great family business with great employees. Honesty, Integrity, Polite, Proffesional. Those are just the few key words that come to mind when doing business with East Coast. Thank you guys!
I was referred here by a mechanic, who I trust, and kudos to these guys. They immediately got me in, gave me an estimate, and finished pretty fast...with a bill that was even lower than the estimate (music to the ears. lol). I havent put any mileage on the truck yet, but the drive home was a normal one. I will follow-up in the next few weeks after I put some miles on her, and I would definitely recommend these guys. They are at the top of my list for major repairs. Thanks Fellas, I appreciate the business.
Really great customer service 👍 and great repair thank jason best diesel mechanic crew.... Quick and good work
I highly recommend East Coast Diesel LLC. Chase Roberts is the man to see.Hes laid back easy going and an all around awesome guy. You wont be disappointed.
VERY GOOD. Professional service, I won t hesitate to come back
So far so good. Took our 24’ freightliner in for inspection and they were easy to find, large lot, friendly, affordable, and with quick turnaround and a fantastic digital portal that makes communication clear and efficient. I am planning on going here for service and maintenance now too.
I can not recommend this outstanding company enough!! Absolutely excellent work! I developed a significant exhaust leak in my box truck about 9 hours away from home with very few tools, and no other local shop would work on the truck (and no one else had parts in stock). I called East Coast Diesel LLC and they were super accommodating by allowing me to drop off the vehicle after normal business hours and they had parts ordered, delivered, and installed before lunch the next day! They also waited well outside of normal business hours for me to come pick up the vehicle. Extremely honest pricing and outstanding mechanics. Do not waste your time with other auto shops. These guys are the real deal! They got me back on the road in only a few hours. I could not ask for any better service. They far exceeded expectations!
We were stranded on 64 west with the air brakes locked on the RV. Called Coach Net and they sent the company to our location. Chase, mechanic, called to understand exactly what was Wrong with the RV. Bless his heart, he was able to get us in the road with a temporary fix til we can get home. He told us what he was doing step by step. Told us our options. Gave on pointers on dealing with the temp fix. Already have their number in my phone and Chase’s name too. Thank you for the quick service and not gouging us to death. Will remember you and will refer friends and family. Thanks again and God Bless you and your business.
Behind the façade of a veteran and family oriented business, East Coast Diesel is one of the worst places to work and have work done. Even those that are legitimate family are treated with disrespect. Owner(s) are more concerned with what new toys they can purchase on company credit, having debtors call daily for their personal debt, than what the company could use for the betterment of the employees and customers. Vendors regularly cutting off their services for nonpayment making it nearly impossible for the employees to properly do their job, then they are the ones who are reprimanded for incomplete or untimely work. Company procedures are ever changing, from one day to the next employees are never sure what will incite a butt chewing. EPA, OSHA, federal and state labor violations are a daily occurrence, where employees are terminated for refusing to break the law. Employees are regularly terminated for the slightest infraction and the last paycheck is never seen under the disguise of them being thieves. Alcohol abuse and illicit drugs by those in managerial positions inhibit the daily workings and procedures. Positive Google reviews by employees posing as customers are more often than not, the only trustworthy ones are negative. Most veterans are not treated with the respect they deserve, but told to take “orders” from someone most out ranked in the service. Not to mention any after effects from their service are held against them. A minor (not so minor) point, the flag on the premises was absent for many months due to a few employees taking it upon themselves to take the tattered old one to the proper facility and a new one was not permitted to be placed on the pole; and when one was present it was not in proper placement (half mast when appropriate). The customers are overcharged and most kept waiting for far more than estimated repair time.Even during a global pandemic the nefarious actions do not cease. One employee suspended for going to their child’s graduation party, leaving work a few hours early and management notified a week prior. Another’s “final” paycheck dissolved to just a few dollars with no notice and a promise that because of the situation deductions would not happen. The owner(s) also sent out companywide emails and text messages for all employees, unless told otherwise, to file for unemployment; some even told to work after filing. Then after finding out with 60% of the work force laid off they would not be eligible for small business loans, they sent emails stating anyone who filed were voluntarily leaving their positions. Few of the laid off employees were permitted to return. Those employed the longest are for many reasons, partners with financial stake in the company and those that are willing to bend and break laws.
Very bad masters who took the money and did nothing
Amazing group helped me when I was in a bad place very knowledgeable
For the person who wrote the one star bashing the company and the management I have worked for the company for around 4 years total time and not going to lie it’s had its ups and downs but I’m still pushing on to higher goals. I am not legitimate family but the owner has always welcomed me to his house and I can go straight to any fridge and I feel like I’m at home at any managers house really. He is the boss if he wants toys guess what he can get them who are you telling them how to live . And let’s get another thing straight vendors will cut the company off when the limit has been reached but the invoice has to be turned in and I don’t know who you are or why you have such a attitude but you are probably one of the reasons limits have been reached in the past, and the employee is only reprimanded when they don’t properly do their job . Company procedures are ever changing like any company trying to better policies, I’m in the military and policies constantly change here.I have never been told to violate any state local or federal policy to include epa policy’s and osha if someone violates that then that’s on them because all safety equipment has always been provided for me . Employees are regularly terminated for breaking rules and not asking questions all technical guidelines and procedures are provided at the company’s expense and the last paycheck is determined by what you turn in and how bad you screwed up your last job I’ve had my fair share of payroll deductions believe me. Yearly drug and alcohol tests are performed and I can attest no manager does any illicit drugs. Positive google reviews are usually from a happy customer and some get mad because they wake somebody like me up at 2 am I go to them and see hey that’s a part that’s a non stock item I can get it but I have to drive to x place that is open 24 hours, I trust everyone I work with and everyone has good and bad days. Currently two of the company employees are deployed to the Middle East and we have always gotten respect the manager of Charlotte is a marine,I Am in the army and the second most senior road tech in Durham is a marine as well. I don’t understand why you say the effects of service are held against them I have a job when I get back he isn’t holding anything against me or the various veterans in the company . The customer gets charged book time or less quit falsifying information. The work of a lot of our technicians speak for itself every employee who works for this company takes pride in our workLet’s face it man you screwed up you put your own job in jeopardy
Horrible service. Reviews really have to be rigged there’s no way on earth anybody can have any good thing come from them. Talked to service and he clearly had no idea what he was talking about. I’ve came from a mechanical background and since when does a wheel seal take 4 hours to do? Especially at $125 an hour. This company is definitely overrated and I wouldn’t waste a dime with them unless you clearly love emptying your pockets.
I came here thinking I was gonna have to leave my truck and come back, but after they figured out the problem they informed me to wait and they would get me in and out. I very satisfied with the customer service and the mechanic Jason, he jumped in and got it done with the quickness. If I need any more work done and I’m in the area I will be a repeat customer. You guys just got a customer. Thanks for the customer friendly work.
The people were very helpful and got me in and out with no problem. Staff is very knowledge and will help you in anyway possible..
We broke down and had no air brakes. East Coast Diesel LLC sent out an awesome service tech. Chase was very professional and knowledgeable. He kept us in the loop on everything he was doing. I would recommend this company and Chase for roadside repair on any large trucks or RVs.
Surprised by their kindness and professionalism. Quick respond, easy communication, charged working hours really fair. Pure 5 star recommend. Good job, thanks
Great people and great service they really know how to treat customers. Robert Michael great guy really know Diesel engines I will highly recommend to see him if you ever have a problem that other mechanics may not be able to fix. Very honest guy will not waist your time or money.
Couldn’t asked for better service. These guys are not your average group of mechanics or owners. These guys are very polite and professional and their rates are very responsible especially with the work I had done to our 09 cascadia. Couldn’t be more pleased with the results definitely worth the 3 hr drive down. I highly recommend Robert and his crew at East Coast you’ll be glad you went to them!
I could not be more satisfied with my experience with East Coastal Diesel. A very professional company. Quick process, excellent work and great value along with honesty, integrity and excellence in service.I strongly recommend East Coastal Diesel.Robert, thank you so much!
Quoted me 10 hours labor to remove and replace 1 injector on 7.3 power stroke. At $125 an hour that’s incredibly high.It was a person at the desk. She looked it up and that’s what she told me
Great people to do business with. I would definitely call them up in the future. Good work and very reasonable prices.
I brought my truck here after Advanced Maintenance tried to give me a big bill and would not work on my truck quickly. they looked at it and said they could not do anything, I went to pick up truck with a tow truck and they tried to charge my $95 just for picking it up. I had East coast diesel come and look at it and they said they could fix it. We towed it to there shop. And found 5 injectors and Jake brake assembly bad. Parts where not available so East Coast got me used parts, Made sure I got to the hotel and helped me on the bill to meet my price needs. They where easy to work with, And they have all the computer equipment and experience to do any job. I greatly appreciate there help and i am back on the road today!!!! Great Work!!!
These guys have always been honest and truthful about what my truck has needed. I’ve never had any grief and always get an answer. Have really good and high qualified mechanics.
Looking for the most helpful and kind towing company to work with? Call this company right now and look for Martin. He tried super hard to work problems out for us and helped us to safely move our car! Our car was parked in a very narrow space but he tried every single little things to get our car out of the tiny space safely. He couldve easily said no to our request but he stayed more than 45 minutes to resolve our problem! Thank you, Martin, for being super awesome and helpful! We will definitely call this company again if we ever need any help!!!!!
My name is Jason Ross and my experience at East Coast diesel was professional and courteous. The staff went above and beyond To make sure my truck was running properly. I will recommend them to my coworkers.
East Coast Diesel knows trucks! We depend on our F250 for business. East Coast understands that our income depends on our truck and did everything possible to get us back in business quickly. Josh is super knowledgeable about Ford trucks and stands behind his work. It is good to know we can depend on East Coast for quality work!
My dad was out of state working and broke down. ECD came to his rescue. He had to leave for another job and came back and whatever magic they worked on his truck was amazing!! will probably travel from ATL back to them for any future work.
Robert and Kevin both go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy.
The biggest waste of money our company spent around 6-7k here just about every single thing we got replaced had to get replaced at other job all over again due to the cheap aftermarket parts they use and just poor quality job they do STAY AWAY FROM HERE. Not worth the money.
This is a awesome place to bring your problems to. they work with you until you find a solution. Robert the President of the company really made sure all my issues were fixed before my truck left!!! I feel safe on the road again!!! KEEP TRUCKIN!!! DO NOT PASS A ECD SHOP. STOP IN AND SAY HELLO!!!!
Excellent service. In and out fast!!!! Recommend everyone to come here
Very disappointed with the service I received from this place, especially after the owner told me of the professionalism he provided. He really sold me but, it was all hogwash. Perhaps he provided good service but certainly not his technicians. The first time I went there to get my radiator replaced, when it was done I was told that I was finished and when I went to leave, the water reservoir was not attached. After learning this I asked if everything else was done. I was assured that it was and, I learned the hard way that it wasnt. The transmission cooler lines were not tight and leaked, over time, all of the fluid out and caused transmission failure, which cost me $6500. The next (and last) time I foolishly sent my truck to them was last week to have the DPF system serviced. I was told that the regular shop rate was $130/hr and that if I wanted to skip the line, they offered that for $170/hr. (who does that, anyway?) I didnt like it because it was not fair to anyone else who was waiting already, but to be honest, I had a pissed driver that needed to be out of there, so I seriously considered it. I was told that I would pay the $130 for the diagnosis, and that it would be about 45min. - 1hr. I was not called for an authorization for further digging and, four hours later, I was called and given a bill for $606. I was told that they are not sure of the problem and would need further diagnosis. When I told them that they did not tell me that they would take 4 hrs and charge me over $600 for an hours work, and that I was told that it would only be $130 for 1hr to hook up their computer, they said that it would take more time to figure out. Im not an unreasonable person. Had they made mention of that from the beginning, I would have been able to make a decision. I was not allowed that option. I can go on, and on but, I will only say that I will not be returning to East Coast Diesel for anything. Too bad, because there is so much money to be made from honest work, and repeat business. I have 10 trucks that will never again see the yard of East Coast Diesel. Eventually, all of the people who havent heard of these guys will learn. Stay away.
I took my truck to EAST COAST DIESEL on 1/27/20 with complaints of my engine lights being on found out my EGR ACTUATOR got it replaced to find out it was bad(bought from freightliner in this condition) I return the next morning they pulled me in the shop immediately and got right on my truck got my problem solved and I was on my way I got a courtesy call from Ken the service manager the next morning to make sure my truck was ok I DEFINITELY want to thank Chris Paye for his work and being a tech that actually care about his work so BIG THANKS to the EAST COAST DIESEL service team and if I ever need service again and im in the area I would DEFINITELY call them.
Pretty good road service. Professional and quick. Can come any time and everywhere and fix your Big Rig. Only positive responses
My company recently used ECD in a pinch to get over a hurdle, the technician seemed completely overwhelmed by a 1 axle brake job on a class 8 trailer. For his own safety and well-being I politely explained what he was doing wrong and he arrogantly shrugged of my words. I PERSONALLY DON’T RECOMMEND ECD.
It has been quite an adventure. We had the unfortunate experience of hitting a tractor trailer tire on the I40E on our way to Broadway NC. We contacted 5 other businesses, including Camping World, trying to get an alignment on a Class A RV as well as an exhaust pipe with no luck until we contacted East Coast Diesel, LLC.We arrived on Thursday, 18 Oct and were greeted by Stacy - awesome intro to the friendly professionalism we have encountered. In addition to Stacy, we have been working with Kevin, Tommy, Randy, Austin, Josh and Tilly. Kevin discovered part of the drive shaft had also been damaged so he took it off and it was sent to a local shop where a new one is being fabricated. Tilly found the exhaust pipe in TN and got it ordered. One other challenge we have is not having a tow vehicle so we live in our RV and the owner was immediately willing to let us stay on property in our coach with our pets. The maintenance yard is fenced (chain link, barbed wire and electrified) and has security cameras so we felt safe.Southern hospitality is alive and well here at ECD, LLC and we strongly recommend this company. This team has gone to great lengths to help us and get us back on the road.
Man break them and East Coast Diesel fix them. We broke down and hour outside of Durham and after a quick google search and read others experience East Coast was the perfect shop to be towed. Jason & Mike attention to detail was very comforting with hour bus being far away from our depot. East Coast diagnosis and repaired without any hiccups. We would break down all over again.Thank you Team
Great guys and good mechanics!
These guys solved a tough exhaust leak for me that the dealer had twice failed to resolve. Fast and Done Right!
Customer service was great. The mechanic that worked on my truck made sure to work with me and even come in on Saturday to do repairs. I would recommend East Coast Diesel Llc to everyone.
Brought truck in for minor repair. Truck was checked out and repaired in the same day and back on the road ! Thank you guys!
Prompt service...guys working hard to get u in and outHighly recommend to drivers that need repairs done.. truck or trailer..
First time there was a good experience. Thanks guys
Exceptional service 3 days job was done in one day excellent staff great work I definitely recommend🙏 Lw express inc
I got a tow into their shop. I called 2 days later to check on the progress.I was told that the tow truck had broken down and my truck was still on it and could not be dropped until the tow truck was repaired.4 days later they start to look at it.I was told they believe the problem was with a ICP sensor. I was told they would call me back- never happened! I had to call every time to get updates on the status. 2 more days go by and I call and ask.We need to test drive it again was the response I received. I asked why again? because the part we put it in did not fix it.The scanner said the part they put in is now reading correctly but did not fix the main issue. The customer service rep starts saying that 3 possible injectors were having issues and that they want to clean all injectors.Funny thing is when I was in the shop the last time the same guy used the exact same story to a guy on the phone.I asked how much an injection cleaning was _please hold? what he doesnt know that? it will be $350 he says.I said I will be up to get my truck and take it to another shops.I get there and my clean truck at drop off was now all muddy?I asked why and they said when it broke down on them they had to pull off into the mud. I asked well why didnt you clean it??The entire shop is a mess there- trucks being worked on outside with parts all over the place. Very unprofessional staff dealing with clients.I received the bill and was shocked to find out they wanted $850 for a muddy truck that still does not work!! the tow was another $250I took it to another shop right down the road- I got a call 2 hours after I dropped it off and it was fixed. It was a clogged fuel strainer- that allI had the same shop add a engine block warmer as well.
They got a comfy waiting lounge and great service, they are there to help. Special thanks Jason for getting us back on the road the same day!
East coast diesel is by far one of the best mechanic shops I’ve ever been to. Had a one-day turnaround time to get my truck back up and running, so we can continue on to help the victims of the hurricane.
Chase was great he hooked up to my truck it had exhaust filter issues regen light and a stop engine light with dealer level software and diagnosed my issue quickly and got my companies truck running quickly thank you for the quick response and fixing my truck.
Excellent place to take your vehicle. Great customer service, excellent technicians and the owner is as good as they come. Highly recommend
Very good shop work very quickly to get you back on the road!...the only thing is they over charge for there services they are worse then the dealership lol ...I had a punctured air line the mechanic was fast he put a DOT fitting on 10 min top they charged me $150 said it took them a hour ...another time I had cab shocks put in ...just the shocks and may I also add I brought my own shocks...they charged me $490 dollars ...usually do them myself but I was lazy I can imagine what they would charge for all around shocks the the steers and drives lol over a grand!!! Other then that great guys that are good at what they do just over charge
Robert and Mike went above and beyond while our company truck was in the shop being repaired. This included everything from answering calls after hours to discuss the status of the repair to letting us borrow a truck when it took longer than expected for a repair part to arrive.
Great quality service here always. Mike saved my life east coast diesel Durahm NC has been fantastic both times Ive had to call them theyll be the only place I call.
Just wanted to thank Chase with East Coast Diesel for coming out and saving our bacon during our breakdown today. Blew a coolant line coming into Durham. Called East Coast as we limped into town Chase and the Truck were on site when we arrived which is incredible on its own, but he dived in removed out broken line. Went back to his shop and fabricated one the was far superior to original equipment had it installed and up and running in three hours! Ive been on the road for 40 years and this was one of my best service experiences! Thankyou Chase and East Coast Guy Johnson Alice in Chains Bus Dtiver
CALL THEM NOW if you need help. Hands down the best service! They went far above and way beyond to get me back on the road to see my family. Dusty is an expert and a professional. Semper Fidelis!
Great company to work with have used in the cupholder situations they were the only ones around who could help me out with a 94 diesel highly recommend
Chase came out to help me in a dire situation with my RV. I have been stranded for days because my sides would not go in. This man worked his tail off and got things accomplished. He was very professional and patient. Anybody in the area I highly recommend giving at your problems to this company. It’s not just for big trucks it’s also for RVs!
Excellent diesel shop! Everyones professional and upfront about what your vehicle needs. Dealer level software and diagnostics!
Sorry for the late response. I took my truck here to have the scr catalyst and the dpf filter replaced. And I must say the quality of work these guys provide is exceptional. Thank you! You guys are #1 In my list for any future repairs.
Great company. Easy to work with and cares about getting the job done correctly. I will definitely be calling them next time!!!
My farm tractor broke down in the field. I knew it was an issue with the fuel system, but I am not mechanically inclined. ECD was the only place I called that would come out and work on the tractor. He technician, Dusty, was very thorough in diagnosing the problem. It was clear he had extensive knowledge and experience, as he had the tractor running in a brief period. East Coast Diesel is now my “go to” for diesel repair. Unproductive down time is far more costly than the repair fee. ECD will get your equipment back to being productive.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Went out of their way to take care of me. Def. recommend.
These guys are awesome Jason and Mike are awesome.. They know what they are doing.. Shot out to Randy at CPR towing for calling them.
East coast diese will solve your fleet needs, I visited all of there shops to help our magazine find a dedicated shop that we could use for the cover. The work hard, treat the customer right and there billing is fare. I would rather pay for quality then pay for a quick fix. they are leaving a mark and helping the local community, give them your support and mention John Petri for a 5% discount!!
Good guys. Helped me out last week and wasnt in operating hours on a Saturday. Thank you. From Good Friends Trucking Llc
Great Service. Very nice staff.Tina Stults
Good respond time and affordable service. Help me get back on the road quick.
Although they did fix our truck it took them over 5 monthes. And cost us close to $10000. We had to bring it in 3 sepperate times for the same problem. Although the owner was somewhat sympathetic to the issues we were expierincing his team was rude, uncooperative, and yelled and hung up on my wife when she called for an updare.
Capital Area Trucking we had Great service with east coast diesel
If u got deep pockets and money to throw away...there your people!!First off called around 230 for a road call for a carrier bearing...they had a tech call me withing minutes...he took all my info and said he had to go to pick up part and would be around 45 minutes...2 and a half hrs went by...called tech back and went straight to voicemail...so called office back and was told he was picking up part now and would b on his way...waited another hr...called tech back..this time he answered and said he was switched to another job..and someone else was coming to fix me...so I called office back again and was told again that the new tech was picking up part and was there now ..I was told he was 15 mins out..tech arrived within 15 mins...first thing he says is..this carrier bearing was on hold for another customer..so we are charging u 85 extra ..and thats more than what they even cost...I knew right then it was gonna b expensive...the real kicker is..the bearing was replaced the day before...but came apart due to a parts malfunction...which made everthing come apart with ease...took tech 15 mins total...the whole time he kept saying this is gonna be expensive...well he wasnt joking...just shy of 1300 for 15 mins of work and a 15 min drive...not sure how these people sleep at night..had many road calls over the last 20 years and this by far was the most expensive for the least amount of work...
Good job .

Amazing people rear end job in and out quick . Thanks will be back in the future .
The team at East Coast Diesel is excellent!! I had my turbo go out on a cummins isx . They sent out their service truck QUICKLY and he tried get me rolling. Wound up being the turbo and they QUICKLY got me a tow to their shop. Parts had to be ordered BUT Robert found them in Greenville and drove there himself to pick them up that evening ( FRIDAY !!! ). They are curtious and helpful and I highly recommend them!!
They get the job done..
No communication. They led me to believe that they would work on it right away. I brought it in on Friday and they said they would be on it right away. They had not done anything to it by Monday. They advertise 24-7. Not my experience.
Friendly knowledgeable technician, had me back up and running quickly.
Zach our road mechanic top notch guy. Polite respectful and knows his job well
I love it!!! Martin & Tobias did a great job changed my rim & had me in and out within an hour.
I had called them about towing my truck, however thier tow truck was tied up.Knowing that I was blocking traffic, the owner (Robert) gave me the name of another company which was able to come immediately. While waiting for them Robert called me back and told me that if I needed my truck looked at I could bring it there and he could put a mechanic on it when I arrived which he did just that.Great employees there, very friendly and very honest.Thank you Robert and crew.PS.Didnt charge me for actual time involved in putting me on the road😀
Mechanic-chase was very helpful to find out the problem.customer service was great and fixed the problem as quickly as he could thanks for helping me on Sunday and fixing it properly on Monday.Big ups to you chase for keeping me truckin.
