State Farm has excellent service should you ever have to file a claim for property damage. You get a local adjuster and excellent, fast feedback along the way. Highly recommended for property insurance.

Purchased flood insurance based on Mr. Olins recommendation back in 03 and renewed for 5 consecutive years until letting it lapse in 2010. Then in August 2017 I told Mr. Olin I wanted to renew the flood coverage. This time he unequivocally said it would be a wast of money since the policy would not settle a claim given the way my property is laid out. My property hasnt changed since 03 but Mr. Olins recommendation has. That leaves me feeling I wasted $920 in premiums for insurance that, according to Mr. Olin, is now a waste of money. He said he never recommended the insurance because he never gives advice or makes recommendations...its always up to the client to decide what to do. Weird response given that for the many years I insured through him he gave me a ton of advice and recommendations. Oh well, buyer beware!
