They’ve lied to me twice. All I’ve accomplished with them is giving them money. They keep saying they will drop the dumpster off but they still haven’t. Trash is just piling up lol. I’m so glad there is another provider. This is the worst customer service ever simply due to the fact that they blatantly lie to their customers. After reading reviews it’s clear I’m not the only one this happens to. Didn’t realize I had to check reviews before retaining trash and recycle services. I’m sure they’ll send a generic response about how they pride themselves on this and that and hold themselves to an exceptional level but let’s face it waste management. You’re all liars. You’re seriously just a terrible company. Can’t provide large dumpsters. Can’t provide trash bins. Can’t provide recycle bins. Yet your company makes money how? Take your business elsewhere. I’m seriously so disappointed.

Waste Management has increased its price for weekly pickup of household trash by nearly 100% in the last 5 years without any improvement in value. They have increased our monthly service charge to $62.32 for once a week pickup with no recycling. Its outrageous.

Went on WM website for holiday pickup schedule...said if regular schedule day was Jan. 1, it would be picked up 12/31, no one ever came. Called the local # and ended up talking to some rep in Phoenix stating the website is wrong and that we would get service 1/1/21. WELL, its 2021 and nothing has changed with WM. No service pickup today, recorded phone says youre scheduled TOMORROW...was this still the same message I listened to yesterday....I wonder. PLEASE, if you are going to respond to this review with the usual response template with names entered into blank spaces, dont waste your time. Just pick up our trash.

If I could give WM zero stars I would. After setting up my account online and receiving a confirmation email I never received my trash can. After several calls and being promised different dates I finally received my trash can a week late. My trash was picked up once after that and missed the next two times. Long story short we canceled our service. I had to call them again today to remind them I canceled my service and to quit charging me for trash pick up. We haven’t had a can for two months. If you have another choice for trash collection use them.

They for some unknown reason did not pick up on the usual day. (It wasnt a holiday.) When everyone in the neighborhood called they gave a variety of reasons and said they would be out by noon the next day. They never came. That was 4 days ago. This must be a monopoly. I plan on contacting the PUD to complain. They eventually came the next week on the usual day. So, they basically skipped a whole week without an explanation. They have made no attempt to contact me other than posting publicly how much customer service means to them. Obviously that is not the case. Look at the reviews they are all 1 star.

So far the service and promises are awful in La Plata County. Can I give a minus ten? ? I’m very disappointed considering the service we had in Grand County by the same company was amazing!! We requested services on February 15 as we were relocating to a new county in Colorado for trash/recycle containers and have been getting the run around (6 phone calls) ever since. I finally talked with a supervisor today and it was around 4:30 and his response was there is nothing I can do today because there is only 30 minutes left today of business hours. I’ll reach out to you tomorrow morning and get this resolved. We shall see I’ve already been promised 5 times by different customer service representatives. Obviously so far for this branch its not about customer service it’s about what you want to hear. I’ve been in customer service for over 25 years and never make commitments I can’t follow through with!!!!!!!!!!Will update this review after tomorrow.Update Chris the supervisor who made a promise to contact me this morning with a solution never called. I’m guessing it must be 5:00 o’clock somewhere. I do not recommend setting up service with this location absolutely the worse service I’ve ever had!!!

We are out in the Kline area. There was pipeline going in that caused some change in access to our can and the staff member that was there had a physical limitation which caused her to be slow in getting around. When the truck came around she realized the can wasnt out. The truck would have been gone before she got there except that the driver seeing that it was unusual circumstances got out and collected the can to dump! That was really appreciated!

I wish I didnt have to give this company a star at all. I have never encountered a more poorly run company in my life. When I first opened my account they opened a duplicate account and double charged me multiple times and sent late fees for the unpaid account despite me calling as many times (and probably more) explaining I was being billed twice under two different accounts for one service.During the time of service our home actually RECEIVED the service about 1/2 the scheduled times in the winter with no reimbursement for lack of pickup even if roads were maintained.Fast forward and it is now more than TWO YEARS since I have lived at the residence that I used WM for and despite probably a dozen calls to correct the situation I am still being billed for both of the accounts despite me requesting them being closed and being told every single time that they are.They actually found my NEW address, even though I had passed the account to another person at the address receiving service (name, phone number, email etc... removed myself from the account completely) before I had even left and are continuously sending me over due bills for accounts they keep claiming are zeroed out and closed (the person I transferred the account to also moved and has attempted multiple times to close the account on their own in addition to my attempts)You will save yourself time, money, and frustration hauling your own trash and recycling if you have no other service options. Waste Management will NEVER be worth it. I cant believe theyve managed to stay in business.

4 weeks without a pick up, even after paying 2 separate statements this month AND spending nearly TWO HOURS on the phone last Friday trying to prevent this. And of course, they dont offer any type of assistance outside of business hours. Its a shame this is the only option for waste removal. Very dissatisfied.Edit: Its been an additional TWO WEEKS and still no pick up. Spoke to a representative LAST WEEK TO SET UP A COURTESY PICK UP and surprise, surprise THE TRASH IS STILL THERE. Business hours are horrible for ANYONE THAT HAS TO WORK FOR A LIVING. Would give 0 stars if possible.If you have the capability to haul your trash to the Tech Center or a nearby dump, I would highly recommend that route over this company. May cost a little bit more, but youll thank yourself!

TLDR: Constant problems, horrible customer service, high late fees and reinstating fees, no effort on their part. Would give negative stars if possible.Recently moved to Colorado. Spent over an hour on the phone with them for what was supposed to be a 5 minute set up for services. Gave them all our information (address and card info to set up auto pay). Called two weeks later to find out where our trash cans were. Apparently the person we first spoke to didn’t even put the order in. Then after getting the order in, sent our cans to the wrong address. Finally after a month, we got our trash cans. Chose to pay on a quarterly basis with auto pay. Took them two months to prorate our bill, auto pay didn’t come out and got our services suspended. Called them and they told us they don’t take card info when we first sign up. WHAAAT? Paid a large reinstating fee, received our second bill (autopay). Two more months go by with no letters or calls from them and open the bill saying our services were once again suspended due to late payment. Will not be using this company ever again. It’s been more of a hassle than the services are even worth.

Ordered containers for new service on 6/19. Was told it may take up to ten days to deliver. Missed first service day on 6/29. Called and was told they would be delivered 7/2. Nothing. Called and was told they would be delivered on 7/3. Nothing. Was told they would be delivered on 7/5. Nothing. Called and canceled service on 7/5. Was assured service was canceled. They delivered containers on 7/6. Can’t make it up! They are incompetent. Use their competitors, I am! Bet it takes weeks for them to show up and haul them off. Like the others rating them, I would give a negative if Google would let us!

This company has gotten too big. No one has an idea of individual needs. You get different answers from different people on the same question. They are wildly expensive and customer service is awful at best. They dont have an idea what the the other aspects of the company actually does. Try requesting an additional pick up and let the circus begin. The problem is there is no other solution for a business in La Plata County.
