Am I the only one that sees the gates closed 15 minutes before their scheduled closing time? I think they do this to discourage people from using their site. I have also seen the place closed a few hours early. I understand that they can’t hold but so much trash... if that’s the case at least post a sign saying “FULL”. If not then find workers who are willing to work the said hours.

Trash pickup was pretty solid, but they could not get the recycling picked up consistently.

I wouldn’t hesitate to pay a yearly fee to have a facility that would prevent out-of-county dumping. The population alone has outgrown the place. I’ve seen times to where the gates were shut because it was full. Also I’ve seen it more than once to where the gates were locked 10 minutes or so prior to closing time. The taxpayers are getting the bare minimum for sure. Come on Sampson county, step up your game.

They just decided to quit picking up my trash, and then billed me. This happened two different times, phone calls were not helpful in fully resolving the issue.

One guy very good. need a better driving service and service to empty bins.
