Looking at 5 stars comments, I think you guys are lucky he did his job good. But I am not satisfied with his work. Clintons car wash would have done better job for $15 full service. Paid $150 for just a minimum job.Seats are dirty, cup holders ate dirt, Steering same as I left carpets are washed but still has dirty,I am not sure what car detailing covers. I thought my car would cleaned, but many parts are not even touched. Had to go back to tell him I wasnt happy with the job.Definitely not going for 2nd time. But if you guys want to experience, try it for once, may be he will do better job next time.$150 car detailing job from here = $15 full service car wash from Clinton car wash.☹☹😩😩😩🙁☹🙁☹

It is so good to have a Swiss guy cleaning your car ! He is not counting his hours to make it worth it the cost ! And he is doing that himself with a helper... it is not a team of 20 guys doing only superficial job. The result is simply amazing ! We love it and he is maintaining all the familys cars...

Great experience! I stopped by just to get my wheels and tires cleaned as I just changed them to my summer set and they got pretty dirty in storage. Michael finished up his customers car that he was working on, and immediately worked on my wheels. He did an immaculate job cleaning them too, especially for the amount of dirt that was on them when I brought them in. If you need a car wash and youre in the area, be sure to check this place out!

Car had a strong chemical smell inside. Not a very carefully finished cleaning.

Michael is incredibly professional. I have never been to a car wash/detail center that has been so accommodating. I have actually had my car cleaned here as well as using the uhaul service for when I moved. I can always count on this place to give great service.

Wow! 10 stars!! Goat milk spilled all over my car, which was ultimately worth it— since I then had the opportunity to treat my car to a detailed carwash. Michael absolutely transformed my car! Definitely surpassed my expectations by far.

Horrible customer service. I Called 4 hours before closing and told the owner I was right next door and was looking to have my motorcycle washed and waxed. The gentleman proceeded to go over prices and explain to me where exactly they were located. Next we discussed prices which were astronomical so I explained money was tight and I would like the lower end wash and wax just then his whole demeneor changed . He proceeded to tell me that he would not be able to wash my bike because he was detailing a car something he failed to mention until I told him i couldnt afford some of his prices.

Since Michael took over this place less then a year ago it only gets a 5 Star. I work with dogs and my car gets pretty dirty. I visit carwashes regularly. Not only did they do the best job since I can remember, the price is amazing. I honestly didnt want to post anything being afraid that they would get too busy, but he was too friendly and they did too well of a job for me not to post this review.

New owner Michael is a really down to earth guy. $13.99 for a full car wash inside the car and outside for sedans, I dont think there is any other place that offers this. $13.99 not only gets you your car wash on the outside, but vaccuum, tire cleaning, and car panels wiped down as well. All done by hand. Give the new Madison Ave car wash a try! Tried it first time a few months ago and have been coming back very often ever since, and never left unhappy. They are even open after huge snow storms even if its super cold by just working inside their shop. Give it a try!

Edit: In response to the unknown reviewer who gave Michaels carwash a 1 star on September 2019. He/she talks about how great Clinton car wash is. As of now Clinton has 3.6 stars while Michaels has 4.3 with only 1/2 of the reviews. Hmmm... sounds like a paid troll by Clinton Car wash. Ive been going to Michaels for a few months now and he goes above and beyond. He does great work and pays attention to detail. Mike (owner) washes most cars himself. I liked the service so much that I came back a few hours later with my 2nd car. Hes also very reasonably priced. Like all hand car washes that Ive dealt with it takes time to hand wash a car correctly. So if youre a last minute type of person who wants things done immediately be realistic and go elsewhere.

Hand wash car wash in Dumont. It takes some time to move your car through their entire process but they do a really good job at getting your wheels shined up. There is a Dunkin Donuts and a Pizza Parlour across the street in case you get hungry or need a caffeine fix while you wait. I will go back again as the price is very reasonable for the top notch work.

I’m sure the negative reviews are from long ago. I stumbled upon this place about 3 months ago. Although, I live 2 towns away, I continuously take the ride over to Dumont as the level of service here is unmatched. My car is always meticulously cleaned and vacuumed each and every time.

Michaels is under New ownership for the past 6 months. The other reviews are wrong. This is a great spot and they do a fantastic hand wash at a great price. AAA++

I went to Michael’s at 2:45 pm today to get a car wash. I stood there for 10 minutes while a kid with tattoos was washing what appeared to be a mustang. Not once did he anyone acknowledge my presence. Since there were no other cars there, he definitely saw me. At least wave or say, “hey I’ll be with you in a couple of minutes”. I was very disappointed as I just moved to Haworth and thought this could be my regular spot. Please work on your customer service!

I cant say enough about this carwash ! Took my car yesterday to get cleaned inside, and this morning noticed there were things that werent cleaned, stopped by and Mike in matter of seconds took care of it and gave me pointers and the care of the leather in my car! Like seriously obsessed with this carwash and how attention to detail !

Destroyed the finish on my 2 week old car.Scratches over the entire car. Looks like they dried it with sandpaper.The dealer said $900.50 to fix.Theyre response, We clean, we do good.Do not go to this place.Stay away.

Brought in a red, slightly banged up little Japanese sedan and left feeling like I had a pretty new, fresh ride. Fair price, quick service, and best of all: the owner/operator didnt try to over-sell me a fancier cleaning than the one that was needed. Seemed like a good, honest business.

This car wash is the only one I go to .its completely out of my way, but I take the time to go for the service .you wont get it anywhere else . I even took a caravan of cars with me once, and they all came out perfect .Thank you Michael!

Dont even want to rate this place as even Poor - Fair! 100% POOR. I dont even know why its called X-TRA CARE hand car wash. I been bringing my car here the past year. Ever since the new owner bought this place a few months ago the service is bad. I didnt even really want to go back again after the first time I went with the new owner. But, its close to my house. I brought my new car here again last weekend the idiot managed the put to long scratches along the passenger side of my dash board. It looks like he rubbed the vacum on it. I tired everything the get scratches out. They left the interior of the door and rims dirty. Also cant see out the front windshield in the dark because there is smudges all over it. They must use dirty rags. I even paid extra for spray wax and tire shine and I always tip well. I brought my car back and the owner really thought I would come back after I complained to him and offered a free wash. I told him I wanted my money back. He credited my debit card back. I would of been happier paying than having scratches in the inside of my new car.

Brought our 2011 Hondy Odyssey minivan in for a exterior wash and interior cleaning, late in the day. After my wife brought the van home, the wheels were still dirty, I had to spend 20 min cleaning them and I had to remove bird droppings that the car washers didnt notice? In addition the paint and windshield was horrible, film on it, from a dirty towel? The worst car wash I have ever seen. My wife took the van back and made them re-wash it... Even the owner/manager apologized and said the wash was bad. Gee.. why didnt they notice that the first time? He did give us $5 off the next time. We get it home after the 2nd wash... better, but still not great. Im not sure if the washers dont care, dirty towels, whatever? I again had to fix it myself. In addition the bottom windshield was still dirty inside, I cleaned that myself. I will never bring our van back there again. A bunch of 9 yr olds with towels could do the same or better.

We brought our Escalade not to long ago and we paid 190 for nothing. All they did was wipe and not clean anything. Do not bring your car here unless you like wasting money.
