Had my dress ready in 3 hours, great pricing and extremely nice! Not only did he hem my dress beautifully but steamed it to perfection. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
EJ did a wonderful job bringing my suit jacket in and tapering my pants. Upgraded a cheap suit to a custom fit for a very reasonable price. Will definitely go back. My fiancee is looking to take her wedding dress to him also.
Very last minute bridesmaid and very last minute adjustments. He was busy but he worked his magic. It was a very successful wedding.i will visit here again if needed
I recently had alterations done on my wedding dress at EJ Alterations. EJ asked me to pick up my dress sooner than expected because he was leaving the country. Usually, there are at least two fittings when having a wedding dress altered. I only had one. Several parts of the dress required further alterations which I didnt have the chance to discuss because of the abrupt pickup. The two straps at the back of the dress werent tight enough, the part sticking out below the zipper needed taken in, and the bustle did not look right after I tried it on - it was pulling down the entire back of the dress because it was only attached in one spot. I did not receive the full service that I paid for and as a result I have had to pay again for alterations with a new seamstress that were not done correctly the first time. My new alterations totaled $250 ($125 for the bustle, $75 for the fabric near the zipper, $25 each for the straps). I never received any sort of itemized receipt for the work at EJ Alterations but I paid $165 for everything. I called EJ Alterations to try to settle this over the phone but EJ was adamant that everything was fine on the dress when I picked it up. This is not true - I told him there was extra fabric by the zipper and I never even go to try the dress on with the bustle until I got home (which is when I learned it was not attached correctly). EJ told me to come in person to discuss it. I made the mistake of arriving in person with my fiance and EJ promptly began yelling that the work was done correctly and that he doesnt owe us any money. He then proceeded to stomp his feet in addition to yelling for making this about his mother (his ailing mother is apparently why he had to leave the country). I began recording a video of our conversation because he was irate and seemed unstable which made me feel unsafe. I am quite rattled by his demeanor and am still in shock he would ever treat a customer like this. He finally gave us $50 in cash and called us penny pinchers. Unbelievable.
Very professional. Good tailor
