I love these apartments. It’s my first time moving into my own apartment and I thought it was going to be a hassle. The staff is so friendly and the move in process was quick and easy. The apartment itself is cute and homey. They were even able to update all the appliances which was a bonus. Definitely would recommend these apartments to everybody.

I just moved in and I put in a request to have my doors checked and Admir was there, the next morning, ready to go! He fixed ALL THREE of my doors, along with help from the other maintenance employee (didn’t get his name, unfortunately). They were both great! Worked seamlessly, quietly, and did a fantastic job! I have been at Heritage for over 11years. I have seen it change ownership and staff as you can imagine but the maintenance guy, Admir, is one of the best weve had. Always courteous and efficient to get whatever fixed that requires it.

I rented my place here sight unseen. I am home bound because of my health. I lived the last 13 years in a basement apt and never really paidmuch attention to the amount of sun that I wasnt getting. But moving here, with all the brightness and open floor plan, the living room with a perfect corner for my Christmas tree, I even have a balcony, made all the difference to me.I have been here a month and have truly enjoyed being here. There is a hospital right outside my window! There are stores, eating establishments, things to do all in close vicinity.The complex itself has a pool, playground, and basketball court and more things I havent had the pleasure of seeing/taking advantage of.But the main reason I am here is because of the young lady in the front office that worked tirelessly to get me in, Liz. She worked with me with patience, professionalism and courtesy. Whenever we spoke, you could hear her smile. She is really sweet and kind, truly has a lovely deposition and warm heart! Thank you, Liz, for all you did for me!

This is an honest opinion from a young family that never had a late rent payment for everyone out there that is looking to rent in a good community.If you want to live in a place where you dont have problems with the management, do not rent here. We had the worst experience! These are the reasons why:1. The new property management, called Avenue5, does not care about its residents and their safety. We had issues with the heater. During the winter last year, we didnt have hot water or heat. We asked for the maintenance to fix the issue, especially because we had a 4 months old baby at that time. A few guys came to try and fix the problem, but nobody ever did anything to solve it, the heater was working on and off. They did not want to replace it. All of my family got sick because of the lack of heat and hot water. I even had pneumonia.2. Due to these issues, we decided to not renew and move out at the end of our lease. Well, after I talked to the management and got to an understanding that we would leave within the following 30 days without paying the month to month fee of $300, they just billed us for another month plus other charges. So, be careful, they do not respect their word. They came up with ridiculous charges and they dont even respond to their phone, placing the blame from the corporate to the propertys office and the other way around. Shame on them.I am sad to leave this negative review because the property is beautiful and we enjoyed living there before this new management took over, but we want to make sure that before anyone decides renting here, that they make an informed decision.All in all, do not rent these apartments if you want to live in a place where you are treated right. It is not worth your time and money.

I don’t understand half of these negative reviews this property is BEAUTIFUL and the office staff is the best I’ve ever worked with. I’ve lived in a few different apartments and Jazmina has been by far the great property manager, she’s always doing everything she can to make us residents feel heard and welcomed. The new assistant manager is a sweetheart who I’m sure it tired of hearing me thank her for always being so attentive to my work orders! The property is well maintenance and you get a spacious apartment in a very popular and beautiful location I truly couldn’t be happier with Heritage Apartments and the fantastic staff they have helping us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We moved here a month ago. We were excited and the front desk girls were very nice. They gave us our apartment only a few days early and we were able to move in, but they never gave us our mail key or carport (which we paid for) Also our stove would make the fire alarm go off anytime we turned it on. There are white paint spatters on the wood floor from the maintenance guy and our balcony has water damage and droops and is very weak and dangerous to stand on. Our blinds are also broken and our vent in our bedroom doesn’t work. I called the front desk let them know all these things within the first few days and no one ever came to fix them or even look at them. Our water takes forever to heat up so we always have to wait for the shower to be warm enough. 3 weeks in and we just barely got our mail key and it’s been over a month now and I still do not have a carport that I am paying for. On top of this we paid for the month of June early (May 30) handed them the check at the front office. I call June 9th to ask them about the rent cause the money hasn’t left my bank yet and THEY LOST MY RENT CHECK! And the front desk girl gave me the weakest apology like she didn’t even care. Can not believe it. Things need to be fixed ASAP if you move here proceed with caution cause this is just ridiculous.

Admir is one of the maintenance workers at the apartment complex who with the help of Manny did an excellent job of replacing both the kitchen and bathroom faucets quickly, as well as cleaned up behind themselves which is rare with other places I have stayed. I truly would leave zero stars if I could. This place is terrible. When maintenance requests are put in, they do not come and fix the problem for weeks to months even after asking multiple times. Worst place to rent and you should AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I am super impressed with Admir who is our newest Maintenance Manager. He was on the property today (Saturday) & noticed the water heater was leaking from my 2nd floor apartment. He acted quickly to get the water shut off & within 2 hours he had the water back on with a brand new water heater, keeping me informed thru the entire process. How often does the person responsible for fixing the problem discover the problem? That has to be a super power. I have lived here almost 18 years so I thought I had seen it all - good & bad - but this is very impressive. Thank you Admir for working so hard & so efficiently to take care of what could have been a very stressful situation. I appreciate all that you & Manny do!11/21/20The Saturday magicians did it again. I woke up this morning to a very cold apartment & discovered the heating system was blowing cool air. I called the emergency maintenance phone number around 8:30-9 am and spoke to Manny who told me that either he or Admir would come check it out as soon as they could. Admir called back shortly after and by 11 am there was hot air coming out of all of the vents and Admir brought by a portable space heater just in case. Its 6:30 pm now and Admir just called to see if the heat was working - I had been so comfortably toasty all day I hadnt thought about it. Its working perfectly. I appreciate Admir and Manny so much - they are always friendly and respectful and cheerful and I see them both outside picking up trash which is appreciated. Thank you Admir and Manny for taking such great care of everything!

Great location. Beautiful & spacious, very comfortable, and a safe neighborhood. Ive never felt as comfortable as I have here in Heritage. George & the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and understanding and they always explain things plainly and clearly. There are no hidden fees or unreasonable wording in the lease. Everything is very straightforward and clear from the beginning. I have had a great experience here and I look forward to continuing to live here. Any time any of my friends move into Salt Lake County, I will recommend this complex! We love it.

Since moving to this complex it has been nothing but problems. I went in to renew my contract and asked for the shortest lease available. The lady there said she had either a 3 or 4 month available. I said I would prefer the 3 but if there’s only a 4 I would accept that. I asked if I could sign the lease right then but she said she would bring it by my apartment tomorrow morning. Next morning comes and goes with no lease agreement. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and gave her a couple extra days. Still no lease. I went down to the office today again to ask her about it. She said she hasn’t had time to do. In my mind I’m thinking “how long does it take to print off a lease and pin it to my door.” And by the way I live directly across the parking lot from the office. She then tells me there is only a 5 month available and said the 3 month leases where taken while I was waiting for her to bring to me. Why should I be punished because she took to long to get me my lease? I asked if I could speak to a manager or if she could email her upper manager to see if we could make this right since she promised me a 3 or 4 month lease. She said “No” them followed up with “Do you want the 5 month lease or not.” DO NOT rent here. It’s not worth your trouble

Heritage Apartments is one of the best apartment complexes I have ever lived in. I will cherish the memories I have made here.The property manager cares about his tenants and knows them by name. He responds quickly to requests and concerns. He is the best manager I have ever had.The maintenance team is also amazing. If I happen to see them while walking through the complex, they always wave hello. They respond quickly to maintenance requests and are always willing to answer questions.My apartment was very well-maintained. When I moved in, the apartment had just gotten all new flooring and new paint. The complex’s landscaping is simple, beautiful, well-kept, and always well-lit. The location is great for easy access to stores, restaurants, malls, and I-15.I have loved my stay here at Heritage. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking to move to this area. Based on my experience and the research I did when I was apartment shopping, Heritage Apartments is by far the best experience, best location, and best price of the apartments available in this area.

Id give zero stars if possible. The amenities are bs that they list on the website. The management team is rude and ignores the needs of tenants, the maintenance team does shotty work at best, the grounds are not maintained, and overall a horrible company to deal with.

This review is solely for the new maintenance team. AC went out July 30th 2020, and management setup an appt for AC repair with a contracted company, Friday August 7, 2020. In triple digit heat. For an apartment that is upper floor, facing west that captures the heat blast all afternoon. It was reaching 110 degrees in my apartment! Manny!! What a savior. He was able to get the AC repair man out on August 1, 2020. Manny is to be commended. We had to stay a night in a hotel. We will find out if management is willing to reimburse.We waited since October 2019 to have maintenance fix our oven. Just Monday August 3, 2020, Admir walked in as the new Maintenance Manager, replaced the air filter and fixed the dangling thermostat. Tuesday August 4, 2020 at 9AM, Admir showed up with a brand new oven! Installed very quickly. Admir is a positive, very professional, and very experienced individual. We are very glad to have him!

My 5 year old daughter and I have lived here for 2 years and we have loved making memories here. It is clean inside and a comfier floor plan that feels more like a home. George the property manager is always fast, efficient, and handles any issues or concerns promptly and professionally and is the best landlord I could ask for. Our maintenance men our equally awesome. If there is ever an issue, big or small they are there immediately and if after hours will also be there. Its a great community to live, and our pool was one of our favorite places to spend time. Our property grounds are well kept and moved and leaves blown and scheduled with routine. It is maintained and always improving. I have nothing but good things to say, and will miss living here and the great friends and neighbors we have come to know. Thank you George, Pedio, and Lynn! Since George left and Greystar took over. .a total nightmare. Weve been here 11 years and now have to move. Raised rents, garages and utilities and we are priced out. One poor maintenance man, overworked and backed up. Until then, was so happy here. We were treated like humans, not account numbers. So sad. Many vacant apartments.

I had a great experience living there. I was there for 6 months and the staff was very helpful and understanding! Especially George, he was the best Landlord Ive ever had. The maintenance was always there on time, friendly and took care of things right away. I would recommend to anyone who wants to live there that it is highly recommended. Nice location which is right off of the freeway and it sits right in between Draper and Sandy so you have lots of options for restaurants, shopping and schools.

I have lived here for going on three years recently the building has changed management to Greystar. Victor is now in charge and Chips is the head maintenance man. I moved apartments because I need more space. When I arrived in the new apartment things weren’t working and I called Victor and told him. He has been so attentive to helping get everything fixed and working. I got a new heater, new fridge, and a new dishwasher all brand new within a few days of living here. Chips installed and fixed everything in a timely manner. Ever time I call the office I always get a answer. I love the community and feel very safe here. I am loving the new owners as well. I highly recommend living here.

I’ve lived there for over a year now and my AC has still yet to get fixed. The customer service is awful and is very rude every time I’ve asked to have them come back and fix it. They are really unprofessional and I would not recommend living here in any circumstance.

Since me and my husband moved in here we had nothing bad experience. First night our AC wasnt working and we were dying in heat and has to buy a $100 AC unit for the first three days we didnt have our parking spot cause they assigned the same spot to another renter. Than our dishwasher door couldnt open and we said that to Trish (the woman that works in the leasing office) she said why do you need to wash your dishes that fast. The next thing is that our water heater wasnt working, we had to wait for 2 minutes for the hot water to kick in and we waited 3 days for somone to come and fix that. Our dryer wasnt working, and the washer/dryer was a couple of years old, but Trish when we signed the lease said the apartment is renovated and all the appliances are brand new. Than they brought a brand new washer/dryer when I did the first load of laundry the washer made a really loud noice it sounded like trains were going trough our apartment, and than after telling them it took them a week and a half ro replace the unit.They said that the hot tub is open the whole year and the pool closes in September, but they ended up closing both. After countless times going to the office and requesting for our heater to be fixed we still have problems with the hot water. The management is just nothing but bad. We called both the office and the corporate countless times but they never answered it goes to the voicemail, but we never got a call back cause they never listen to their voicemail and they never call back. After my husband got a new job opportunity out of state we wanted to sell our lease to someone else, we even had a couple of offers but they told us that we still have to pay $2600 and that the company doesnt allow that. My advice for anyone that wants to rent here is DONT there is a lot of different places for a cheaper price. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Do NOT move here! Sketchy people are now in charge! Used to be amazing when George was managing. Victor sits out and smokes all day, leaves early and hides if you come in to talk to him. We have asked for a 30 day notice to move out several times, he keeps telling us he doesn’t have any! He is making us stay past our contract and said they old manager lost our file!

My wife and I stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment from December 2015 until July 2017, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. George is a very understanding and patient person and an excellent landlord. He went out of his way on multiple occasions to make sure that my wife and I were comfortable and that all our concerns were resolved (My wife was worried that maybe we asked too much of him and his staff, but they were always friendly and anxious to help). The repairmen were always quick to respond to our service requests and were clean and friendly while in our apartment. They also did an excellent job keeping the grounds clean, even when the massive cotton trees dropped fluff all over the complex.The atmosphere is also very nice at Heritage, contrary to most peoples opinion of Draper. There is some road noise from I-15, but I learned to tune it out very quickly.My only complaint is that the security light on the building across from our apartment would shine right into our bedroom window every night, but a set of curtains fixed that.All-in-all, this is a great place to live. I highly recommend it.

The waterline exploded in our hallway ceiling pouring gallons of water everywhere. It took us a few hours to find anyone who could turn it off. Once off, we didnt have water for a week. Then our water was yellow. Soon after, I got a job opportunity with the navy that had a flexible start date. I asked what the consequences of ending the lease early would be to decide if we should wait or not. I was told they would waive any fees since they wanted to take time to remodel the apartment to increase rent. 6 months later I got a surprise bill that said I needed to pay $2000 for breaking my lease.

So I get home from my interview and I see my door opened and scared to get in I find out that the maintenance guy let the plumber in, I never gave them the permission to enter our apartment if we are not there. We go to the office and they say that is not their fault cause we knew the plumber is coming. They told us 2 weeks ago that they will call the plumber not saying what day and what time. So again one more bad experience with this place.

Worst experience of my life. I’ve never been treated as poorly as I’ve been treated here. If Victor answers the phone or is the one working the office- leave, hang up, don’t believe a word he says. He gives out misinformation- with rental fees, deposits, etc. Because of the gross mishandling of information at this horrible rental facility- I’ve ended up homeless. I wouldn’t wish my experience on my worst enemy. Please, do not look at this apartment complex, they’re lying, cheating bastards who are deceitful and just want money.

Negative changes in business practices since property has been recently purchased: 1) seasonal pool hours remain 10:00AM to 9PM, however, access to the guest restroom in the club house is locked after 5PM, which has residents, guests, and children going in the pool or bushes from 5PM to 9PM; 2) large and small dogs, now allowed, have left rarely a six sqft area of the grounds without 2-3 droppings (mgt suggestion: take pictures or video with your phone, of the occurring offense, and report your neighbor?); 3) April2018 to Present mgt is aggressively raising rates on all units $200 or more p/month (I am being priced out of this complex); 4) Jan2019 mgt started is implementing monthly trash and water utility billing (some with only 10 day notice), which both have always been included in the rent (are residents now being double billed? Are these costs, as outlined in the company financials, already included in the rent?)(and these new utility bills are supposedly billed through a 3rd party, yet payments may be combined with the rent payment that goes directly to the office?); 5) mgt offers a payment system via their website for an additional fee per payment, yet conveniently and consistently management loses or didnt receive residential check payments in time, assessing late fees and issuing threatening 3-day eviction notices; 6) new ownership will not hire an additional maintenance person (there are two), however all work is left to one person (discriminatory and abusive?) so maintenance requests go days to weeks while this one person is spotted working 7AM to well beyond 7PM 5-6 days p/week; 7) with absolutely no security measures in place, the Draper police are in the complex 2-5 evenings per week either responding to calls or are positioned to respond (tremendous increase in thefts and domestic complaints); 8) new ownership has experienced a rather large turn over in front office mgt and asst mgt; 9) these apartments are built cheaply and do not stay warm. Using your heat during the winter causes little to no hot water left over for showers because the heat uses the same hot water that runs your shower and faucets. Also, you will hear your neighbor cough or use the bathroom; 10) all of the above, along with a new asst mgr that is aggressively assessing/threatening to assess additional monthly fees / late fees and issue 3-day eviction notices, have left a plethora of vacant units as of Jan2019.

These apartments recently got new management. The maintenance are very lazy in the work they do. We had to constantly remind them when we need things done. When we first moved in our apartment and washer smelled just like an ashtray or a casino. They lost our rent check after depositing it and put an eviction notice on our door. Would never recommend living here.

It used to be a great place to live with great management and maintenance. When greystar took over everything changed. In less than a year they have entered my apartment for numerous reasons over a dozen times with less than 24 hours notice or no notice at all. If you go into the office or call with a question they are very rude and condescending and I have even been threatened with eviction before I even asked a question or they knew what I was calling about. Greystar has raised the rent so much that a lot of people that have been living here for many years cannot afford to live here anymore including myself. I will not ever do business with greystar and I’m moving out because of them. If I could give my rating less than one star then I would.
