Pleasant person. Clean office. Was up to date on all the nuances of the tax laws considering covid. Took the time to explain. Was thorough.

My tax preparer was not really knowledgeable. She didnt fill out my state tax form correctly which resulted in me owing $320~ to the state. When i asked her why she couldnt explain it. I asked for someone else to review my taxes as i was uncomfortable that she had done them properly since she couldnt answer additional questions i had. After review it was uncovered that she missed filling out a section, which reduced what i needed to pay the state by over 300 dollars. She didnt apologize. I went to H & R block because i felt like i had excellent preparer in the past but this experience makes me uncomfortable.

Mrs. Chapman has always been thorough and excellent to work with.

Your fees are ridiculous ! I could have easily paid 300.00 today if I didnt decline a few of your add ons.. If youre going to charge that much it would be fare to throw in state tax preparation..
