Unfortunately they didn’t have the vehicle I requested but, they upgraded me to a SUV with very minimal charge…. Customer service was great! Manager was busy but accommodating. Staff was friendly and efficient, I would utilize their location again.

Horrible service here. The Area Rental Manager, Ryan Harris isn’t accommodating. They’re phones were down. They couldn’t even help call customer care. Sat there for two hours trying to figure out a car situation with no success. Redirected me to the 800 customer care.

My husband and I are out of town truck drivers. We had to drop our truck off to get worked on. We made a reservation for a car on the app. He even called and made sure it went through and the payment was a debit card (we checked the box on the app accepting additional money to be held because it was a debit card) we spend $40 on a Lyft to get there, waited for over an hour for them to clean a car and did the walk through and made it to check out. While finalizing paperwork and payment we were asked for a credit card to be put in file. We don’t run credit cards. This was also why we called to make sure the debit card was okay and why we authorized additional funds ($200+) to be held on our account. The gentleman told us that they just needed something else on file for the rental, then a girl who was near came over and said no, they have to have a credit card and it has to be all charged on it. So we showed her the rental confirmation, showed where the authorized the funds for the debit card, at no point does it say additional payment needed.... and her response was that it wasn’t their policy and they don’t do that with out of town rentals. We were already there past closing time from waiting to get a car and then we had to wait outside of their closed gates for a Lyft and spend another $40 to get to a hotel. This is the second issue we’ve had with enterprise has a company. And I can promise you after this one, there won’t be a third.

I took my car to a commission repair shop and Enterprise worked so conveniently with them and my insurance to have a vehicle ready for me at the location. The representative that arrived to hand me the keys was energetic and friendly. The process was easy with a handheld device for him to use. A few days later we were unhappy with the vehicle and drive into a location to exchange vehicles. This was also easy and convenient. We were received kindly and they promptly exchanged our vehicle. This was a great experience.

Back on April 6th 2021 I reserved a car over the phone. I had reserved it from April 6th to April 9th. When I got to this location, I found out that the rep who made the reservation made it for the wrong dates and the Branch manager Jennifer along with the area manager Ryan did not want to accommodate us as there company made an era with the reservations. I was then blocked from renting because I was upset about the situation which was not at all my fault. The area manager saw how upset I was and did not even come over to de-escalate or try and resolve my problem. I also called corporate and have yet to hear back. Garbage service and if no apology, I will take other measures. Channel 7 news!

Check in was so easy especially since I made a rental reservation online. Waited about fifteen minutes max since the car I requested was at the car wash. One of the young lady was so sweet and was really kind enough to go over any extra cost items I would like to add like insurance, road side assistance, etc. Returning the vehicle was so smooth they took the keys checked the car and was off with my day it really only took about five minutes. I will definitely be coming back to this location.

Everytime I go to this enterprise there is always a problem. They are so unprofessional here. They charge your card for random reasons without your permission and do NOT know how to write up contracts. I RECOMMEND GOING TO ANOTHER ENTERPRISE.

Horrible experience, we rented a car for 10 a.m. because we were traveling out of state and they didn’t have it ready until 11. Then they gave us the car and the stickers were expired so we had to return the car again. Terrible service.

Rented a car through insurance claim. Did not tell me my coverage was up. They waited 8 days to call me and then charged me 400 dollars cash. They said they called and left a message on my vm but comon whose going to keep a car for 8 days for $400 after being in an accident? Beware of the people working there they lie

Prior to going out to the Enterprise in Buena Park office. I had rented a vehicle at another location. However, the vehicles head rest was too uncomfortable and I decided to switch out the car and go to the Enterprise in Buena Park.. Although, I didnt call ahead of time, I was not greeted or welcomed at all. Im very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service I received. Especially, with Andrew who lacks people skills and is rude and unprofessional. The younger generation may be book smart but lack training in people skills and are unable to handle such a simple task in switching out a car, when in fact three vehicles had just arrived. I have used Enterprise Rent A Car since 2005. They are the best, easiest and affordable, conveniently located, understanding. They have a large inventory of new vehicles to choose from. You can choose to pay when you return the vehicle. I wouldnt use any one else.

Prices are great, customer service is great, I did not have any issues with the car while driving it. I turned in my rental early and it was a smooth process.

They did a great job, I was in need of a rental in order to pick up my family from LAX. I came In last minute but they had the SUV I needed to stow away all the luggage. 2016 Toyota 4Runner was a very fun drive I was sad when it came time to turn it in. Low and behold, no amount of $$ will ever suffice for the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE I received from this Location. I can name names, but that would be unfair - everyone was courteous and polite, accommodating and very professional upon pick up and drop off. They run a GREAT TEAM!!! Worst experience at this Enterprise! took 2 hours to get my rental car. What’s the point of having a time to get your car if you’re not going to get it at that time.

A reservation was made 3-4 days prior. Vehicle was not ready and we canceled reservation after waiting 45 minutes with no end in sight.

I recently had to rent a vehicle because my truck was getting repaired. The staff at the downey enterprise were very helpful and courteous. Upon returning the vehicle Austin provided outstanding customer service. It was almost 6pm and I was just about to leave the body shop to return the rental when Austin approached me asking if I was going to enterprise? I informed him that I needed to return the vehicle and he immediately checked the vehicle in and it was done. I did not need to personally take the vehicle back as he did if for me. If ever at this location ask for Austin, Thanks for making my rental experience go smoothly and for the outstanding service Austin.

This location and another location in Norwalk, have provided the best customer service to date, so far. The crew in Atlanta, on Piedmont Rd, they were also excellent. Only 2 crapoy places out of 6, thats a good thing. The staff at most facilities has been very friendly and helpful. I would hope so. My employer uses Enterprise exclusively and I have had to rent a car for 6 months at a time. At this point, I expect the best because of the amount of money my employer spends on my behalf.

I want to thank Sam and Adam for making it an excellent experience. Sam picked me up and was very nice to talk to. Very professional and easy going person. It only took a few minutes from the check in to picking the car ( good selection of cars) and driving off. My drop-off experience was just as good. You can tell that Adam was swamped that day with customers but hey still managed to help everyone out in a timely manner. I would highly recommend downey location next time you need a rental.

I went to the hertz down the street on Firestone Blvd so rude and when I asked what cars they had available the girl point to the window and said those two. One was a Nissan and an Impala. So just drove down the street to enterprise, Im so glad I did.

The service was good, everyone was very nice and professional; however, the person helping me said that my spouse had to be present to be added as a driver, my husband was very busy that day but managed to get out of work early to be there in person. Someone else helped us and they said it is not necessary for the spouse to be present, it is an automatic approval. Needless to say that was frustrating.

Reserved a Nissan Altima for a 3-day Vegas trip. Ended up renting a Jeep Latitude instead. Lady that helped me out was super friendly and let me know it was quite good on gas considering it was an SUV. She managed to get me a good price for it and included my military discount. The whole process was simple and fast. I had no issues with the vehicle the whole trip. Will most likely rent from here again. Wish they would extend their pick-up radius and for that reason I take away 1 star from a perfect score.

This location is close to my home, I have used them exclusively for all my car rental needs, fast and friendly service. Only once I had an issue with a car that was delivered to me unwashed and filthy, but after speaking to the manager she made sure I was taken care off and even game me a free quarter tank of gas for my troubles.

Ana Gonzalez at the drop off in Lawndale Ca. was very, very helpfull and understanding, contrary the gentleman in San Diego that did not disclosed that their were going to be extra charges if car was being drop off at another agency. Ana saved the bad experience and changed it into a good one..

Was there a week ago they guy that help me was helpful. The other guys wasnt to friendly. Car was dirty he did clean windows. He did ask if I want to get the car wash I said no cuz I had my kids . Car should be clean and wash before rental .

I pick up in Port Hueneme a compact car worth 36.00 and charge me 50.00 for drop off fee. I wish I used the car for one more day and I still can save 15.00.

I rented a car for four days. Today is my fourth day and I havent returned it but so far, the customer service experience has been pleasant. I arrived at the location and I did not have to wait, the person who took care of me was very nice and courteous.However, the car, even though it had been recently washed, smelled so bad! I had to buy air freshner and I think I got used to the fowl smell because the air freshner could completely erase it but it minimized it. The other issue is that the car was shaky! Enterprise, that is a big problem with all of your locations. My company rents with enterprise with the corporate discount so I keep getting cars with the same issues. In December, I traveled to Houston and I was provided with an enterprise car at the airport. That car was also smelly and had an engine light on. It is time for you guys to clean up your cars and give them service. It is not fair for the customers to receive this type of service.

This location is unprofessional on many levels. I rented from here on two occasions now and both were unsatisfactory experiences. The first occasion I was picked up but after I was picked up I still had to wait for an hour even though I called in the morning to make sure that my reservation could be filled. On the other occasion I was denied picked up even though I was previously picked up from my same location. They told me the furthest they drive to pick up is Firestone and Paramount. Really? I tried to meet them and walk to a more convenient pick up and they refused that too. Really, we pick you? It should be we pick you up... when we feel like it.

Enterprise Downey saved us! Cannot thank them enough! After arriving in LA we had a reservation at a different car rental place up the road. Upon finding out we were traveling and not residents the staff became rude and even told us we would never get a car and no-one would give us one.We walked 20 minutes in the sun to enterprise purely by chance. Not only were the staff welcoming, they made us feel comfortable, got us a car that day without reservation they even allowed us to extend our trip when we wanted to drive to Vegas. I would recommend Enterprise to anyone and sincerely thank every staff member we interacted with at both Downey, LAX and Las Vegas (Paradise) for their professionalism and perfect customer service!

The day of the rental, everything went well. A young man came to pick me up from my job, 1-2 miles away from Enterprise and proseases me immediately upon arrival to the lot. I was out in about 10 minutes.However, the next day, I got my personal vehicle back, so because I did not have anyone to go with me to the lot, my plan was to drive my car to Enterprise, on my lunch break, because my car was 10 miles away, and the rental was only 3-4 miles away, then I’d either get a ride from enterprise or get an Uber in which case would be cheaper to Uber 4 miles rather than 10 miles to my car. So, I arrive to Enterprise, which took about 10 minutes to get through traffic on Firestone due to an accident, I parked my personal vehicle in the lot and i explained that I had driven my vehicle and needed to go get the rental. I asked if I could leave my car in the lot and that the rental was close by. Please NOTE is pouring rain during this time. Kevin told me no, I could not leave my car there and did not offer for enterprise to drive me to the vehicle. He told me I would have to drive my car out of the lot and take it next door to the Ralph’s market and leave it there. I explained I was on my lunch break, it was pouring, and I still needed a ride to go pick up the rental. I wasn’t expecting to be longer than 30 my minutes. I went on to say that by driving out of the lot, i would have to drive a couple of blocks, then would not be able to make a U-turn at the light so I would have to make a left and drive another block or two before being able to turn around and drive back to the Ralph’s market. He said no Again to parking my car in their lot and repeated I had to take it to Ralph’s and leave there. Again, no mention of Enterprise giving me a ride, not even after I repeated more than once to him that I needed a ride or needed to call Uber. I was left no choice but to take the drive several blocks down to be able to park next door at Ralph’s (10-15 minutes) From there I called Uber which took another 10 minutes to finally get to me due to the heavy traffic on that street and the rain. By this time, my lunch was pretty much over so I had to call my employer to let them know I would be late. Uber took me to get the rental. I was back at the lot within 30-40 minutes from the time I was picked up. This whole ordeal should have only taken me my 1 hour lunch but instead it took about 2 hours. I’ve been a customer of Enterprise for many years. It was my first and LAST time at the Downey location! Kevin, if that was really his name, was a total jerk!

Enterprise Rent-A-Car has always been dedicated to making my business with them a pleasure. Everyone I have worked with has been very personable and did everything to make my trip perfect. I have always got a car that exceded my expectations. And when I needed to keep the vehicle for extra days which has been every time LOL they were very accommodating. The automobiles that they have for rent are the best. This last car was a Hyundai Sonata 2016 and it was the best riding/driving car. It was the day before thanksgiving and I was driving to SD in an enterprise rental I obtained in Pasadena. When I exited the free way in Downey my rental began to stall at the first stop light. I pulled into this enterprise because the engine light had also turned on and I did not feel safe driving after I pressed the gas and the car would not immediately respond. I walked in and told the girl at the counter the issue I was having with my rental. She looked up my rental information and informed me they only had other category rentals currently available. She then took my keys and we both walked out to confirm my concerns with the car. This enterprise employee told me she would actullay not switch the car because it was the day before thanksgiving and they were too busy and any other enterprise would tell me the same thing. She advised me to return to Pasadena for a switch and if it made me feel better to stop by the local Pep-Boys so they could tell me what the problem was. I parked across the street and called Pasadena enterprise who after a long hold and two disconnected phone calls finally located another enterprise in Buena Park who took their companys broken vehicle and switched it for a truck. Last time I deal with this company after knowing they dont have the clients interest in mind once the client drives off the lot. I am strongly advising all renters to stay away from horrible customer service. Ruined my vacation.
