I have been in Dover for the past 3 months on a Travel Nurse assignment. I chose this laundromat because it is close by. I am happy with my choice. Attendant on site always. This laundromat is always clean & odor-free....including the bathroom. The customers mind their business, do their laundry, and leave. Very calm atmosphere.

Called and politely asked if I could come by at X time to drop off for service because it was the only time they would be open while I was off work to do so. I was told it was fine, and that I could drop off any time they are open, including the time I asked about, but it just might not be done until the next day. This is something I am used to, so no big deal. The attendant on when I arrived at the inquired time however, refused to take any drop offs.

Clean place, people mind their own business and are friendly, staff are friendly and helpful, but the dryers we used didnt completely dry my clothes all the way. Great place though.

Awesome laundry mat to wash at. Good space, clean, quiet, quick wash and dry at low prices. You can wash 1 load at home in an hour. At Emerald city, 3 loads can be washed in 32 mins. You can dry 1 load at home in an hour and a half. At Emerald city, you can dry 3 loads in 1 hour. Employees are very nice, professional and will assist you with any advice or help you need to wash clothes. I recommend this laundry mat to all who need to wash.

The laundry attended was so nice she helped me out this morning with holding the door advice on use the bigger cart to wheel our clothes in assistance with my machine. Lovely lady!

I walked in with out my laundry first to confirm the change machine was working and as I was reading there thousand notes to see which said Out of order and I got approached from the lady in charge, coming up to me asking if I am doing my laundry I said yes its in the car I just came to check if the change machine was working. she wanted to confirm that I am not lying to her so I have to go back and get my laundry in side before I could touch the coin machine, and she repeated enough time on my face that I felt like I was actually gonna steal her change. felt like a criminal in there. dont need to give them business if they cant treat there customers like thief. I would not had check if the coin machine was broken if I did not experience that in the place before.

I cannot support a company who speaks against those who need help. Emerald City Wash World has spoke against Dover Interfaith Mission moving to their area.

I always find it to be clean here and any time Ive had a question or problem, the staff has been very helpful.

The guy that helped me was super nice and most of the machines were working properly. There is no A/C so it was really hot, but they had fans blowing so it helped a little bit.

Hardly any of their machines workedwhen drying our clothes the dryer we used took 21 quarters but never dried our clothes the attendant in duty had a hard time giving me my money back because she said that they usually dont refund anything over 1.00

Clean. Attendant on duty. Most machines work well. Check heat on driers. Not very expensive. Big parking lot. Reasonable vending machines. TV. There is an outlet that can be used for charging. Change and detergent machines.

Clean, most machines work. No kids allowed though so be sure to get a sitter.

Their dryers never work

Was here a year ago... Didnt like it .. Dirty, dryers broken.. Was here today and yes they cleaned up..much better... now open until 10pm!!! Thank you!!

I had a wonderful experience at Emerald City. The customer service was prompt and courteous and the facility was reasonably clean. A television, 2 vending machines and a toy vending machine for children. Very accommodating, very friendly atmosphere.

Emerald City is one of the best places to come and do your laundry. The atmosphere is calm and the place is very very clean. The bathroom is neat and clean also. When it come to me doing my laundry Emerald City is the only place for me to go! Great Job!!!!😊😊😊😊

It cost a whole lot of money picked the wrong machine but they didnt have the prices on the machines but other than that the tent it was real helpful

The side the giant washer is on is always closed for cleaning. I arrived at 7:50 PM. The staff is extremely rude and told me that area is closed for cleaning. I asked for the owners number five times and was told the number is 555-1212. They didn’t clean this area during the time I was there. VERY RUDE.

Tooo much money!!!! It’s a scam! I’m from out of state I put quarters in and she told me I needed to put in more I asked if I could just get my quarters back and she said no cause she doesn’t have the key for the machine. How do you take the money out them then 😡😤😠 Do not go it’s to expensive and it doesn’t tell you the price until after ‼️‼️‼️

Staff is friendly but for about the last month there have been roaches crawling on the machines and floor. I cant afford to carry roaches home with me so Ill be taking my business elsewhere

Ive been going there pretty much weekly for close to 2 years and have NEVER had a negative experience. The attendants are always very nice and helpful.

Used the dryer....did not work...Spoke to the attendance worker......coment to me was call the owner.Just move to Dover for a new job at DSU.Will never come back again.....you should avoid the place.

The water in the washer did not run my soap out this is the worst laundromat I ever been to The customer service is poor Monica Smelled my clothes and still did not do anything about it we did not smell none of my good clothes detergent or fabric softener She told me to leave my name and number there’s nothing she can do about it I do not consider no one to come here !!!!!!!

I went todAy to wash my clothes in a washer that cost ($6.50) and purchase 2 boxs of oxy clean that cost ($1.50) after placeing everything in the machine I find out that the washer does not work just like the washer next to it. So the lady that works there had me put my clothes in another washer that is smaller that only cost ($4.50) and she did not refund my ($2.00) that was owed to me. The soap that I got out of there MACHINE she did not replaced she used a generic soap and only put in less than a half of a cap full. So i lost ($3.50) trying to wash my clothes. So i wonder how many other people like me are being screwed out of there money. Cause they charge ($5.50) to wash and dry one pair of pants. I just wanted to let the public know not to go to Emerald City Laundromat. Please share this with everyone you know.Thank You,I am a X Customer
