This review is LONG overdue, but I have nothing but great experiences with Sentinel Self Storage, specifically Miss Charlotte. I was a customer for over 10 years and only ever worked with Charlotte that entire time. The facility itself is great, always clean, accessible. But its Charlottes warm spirit and kind words that made my time as a customer so enjoyable.

I rented a unit and the people were wonderful. The manager Charlotte was always friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable and it was easy to find. Also I liked that the property is kept very clean.

Granny and the staff at North Dover Sentinel treat you like family. From time to time, Granny would call and check on me while I was gone for multiple TDYs for the US Air Force. This place has top notch customer service for everyone; especially military members. I rented a climate controlled unit for over 4 years and my household goods were maintained in perfect condition. Be sure to stop by and see Grannys impressive rock collection. The entire facility is in a nice location and is maintained with high standards.

This facility is GREAT!! The facility is only surpassed by Charlotte, the on-site manager. We have been storing there for almost 3.5 years. Charlotte, from the beginning, has been a GREAT help, from the start, with information, rates, availability, etc. When it came time to move in, she was VERY helpful and kind!! Throughout the 3.5 years, she has been MOST helpful. We will be moving out soon, but we will MISS Charlotte. We recommend this facility with NO, NO, NO reservations!!! Sentinel storage is by far the best storage unit in the state of Delaware. I have never received such amazing customer service as well as high quality storage for a very affordable price. The owner was always there to help and very enjoyable to converse with. Im so glad I chose this company over public storage or some other nation wide storage company, never sleep on your local businesses.

Ive have been using Sentinel Storage since my freshman year of college (I am now a senior). Each and every time the experience is AMAZING. Miss Charlotte (Granny) is so pleasant and helpful. Shes such a joy and makes every visit better than ever. The rest of the staff is also pleasant, fast, well organized, and the facility is clean. I recommend this location to everyone in the area..even those that are not in the area.

The service and accommodations here are amazing! We are a military family, stationed here in Dover, and my husband has recently deployed. It was our best option for me and the baby to stay with family while he is away, so we needed storage, and quick! I called Sentinel and spoke with the sweetest woman I think I’ve ever met, Granny, who was very knowledgeable, considerate, and sensitive to our familys situation. Sentinel storage was accommodating in every way, we were able to choose from a variety of unit sizes with climate control options, they were flexible with our move-in date, and provided us with complementary use of a moving truck (which was incredibly helpful!). From the standpoint of a military family, we would recommend this facility to any individual or family who is in need of storage short or long term! Thanks Sentinel!

I had a great experience. My items were stored there for about a year and I didnt have any issues. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I even received a good bye hug from the nice lady at the desk as she wished me good luck. I would definitely recommend Sentinel Self Storage.

Charlotte the manager was very kind and informative. Advised me on which size storage area I needed. Also I like that they provide/offer insurance to cover your items for insurance. She also reserved the storage for me so that it wouldnt be taken until I was able to come in and rent the space. Very nice of her. Excellent Service.

A LIFE SAVING EXPERIENCE!!!! My wife and I needed emergency storage in a pinch! It was a very rough time for us and Ms. Charlotte was an angel in disguise! She went above and beyond to help us, and continues to be that angel in helping us now while our things are still there! The location is secure and well kept and the cost is reasonable!

Charlotte and Loretta were the absolute best; not only were they friendly and kind, they were also extremely helpful!!! It was really great to be able to use their moving van at no cost to move my things in. Although the boxes were a bit expensive, it was worth the price of them to be able to enjoy conversations with those two lovely ladies!!!

We were gonna be evicted and needed a nice storage unit that wasnt gonna cost us too much. Thankfully we werent evicted but we still have some stuff there while we clean and make room for our stuff, i love the service, very friendly and loves our kids.
