Brought in a laptop to Geek Squad for repair. They wanted to charge $700+tax which is as much as a brand new computer to replace a motherboard and power button board, both parts that I could purchase off eBay for about $120 and I can install it myself. Was using Geek Squad for convenience and didnt mind paying the $80+ for diagnostics but the repair costs was insanely high. If you have a computer to be repaired, buyer beware. It appears they just want to make a quick buck off their base diagnostic charge and then charge a large repair costs to see if they can find any suckers out there. I aint biting! :(

Every time Ive ever called,☎ its a hassle to actually speak with someone.. These supposedly Smart-Geek employees didnt know anything. I had to google🖱& DIY💡🔌for any help. But..I did save myself $135😃💰
