This place was the best oil change place i been to in a long time.Riley helped me. His service skills were spot on point and he was very attentive to all of my needs and questions. Everybody was friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable. I recommend this place to everyone.

Called ahead to make sure they could do my Volkswagen. Lady on the phone was nice, confirmed they can and even offered a coupon. Arrive there after a little wait and was told they dont have my filter or oil.

Second time I’ve been in two weeks. First time they were out of the oil I needed, didn’t know until after they’d already started working on the car, fine, no problem, told to come back a week later, came back a week later and they don’t have any of the right filters because “they’re specialty filters and they only get a couple a week.” I have a 2013 VW Tiguan, not an uncommon car.Not that I don’t believe them, but order more maybe? Pretty disappointed, the only thing they gave me was a $10 off coupon for my inconvenience, which I could have googled and found the same discount.

I wanna be very specific about this place because I did not have a good experience at a different Valvoline before this.The great experience I DID HAVE though, was at this location, which is:16335 Mack Ave, Detroit, MI 48224.Some of you might relate to this, but I get worried that Ill have to deal with overly zealous salesmanship, or that suddenly Ill be told that my tire needs to be changed. Its happened in the past, and always seem to be the same thing.Anyway, this staff was nothing like that, and from the main guy greeting me and accommodating a special request, to the girl taking care of me, to a whole host of other great and positive things including fixing my brake light, I felt very taken care of, and honestly very grateful.I really want the staff who was there that day to get credit, so I wanted to mention that I was there on the afternoon ofMay 24th.It really set the tone for the rest of my day, which might sound like a bit much.. haha but was, none-the-less, very much appreciated.Much Respect yall

We had to get the oil changed because we drive so much on the weekends. We chose the synthetic oil because we had a coupon. It was still expensive but probably a good investment. The staff were efficient, thorough, and extremely polite.

I have used this location exclusively for the oil changes on my two vehicles. I will go elsewhere from now on. I was told on the last three services that this location was out of grease, broken grease gun and now today they are not sure that they have any grease. I was told that this store is not the usual store the lead man works at so he can’t tell me if they are able to grease the only zerks on my Silverado. I’m going to the dealer from now on.

Excellent service. Came in for an oil change on a Saturday morning and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I believe Brandie was the name of the person who helped me. She was knowledgeable, told me exactly what she was doing and what to expect. Most places try to sell you on countless other things--not here. They recommended a few things but understood that I was only in for the oil change. Ill definitely be coming back here.

I have now received three oil changes from this location and I plan to continue coming back. They do tell me when things like wiper blades and air filters are becoming too worn out; however, they are not pushy. The service is quick and the employees are polite and respectful.

They claim to have quick service, but I sat there for over an hour and a half for a simple oil change. This is the second time his has happened. I tried to give them another chance. They also had no idea how to change my air filter, at that point I just wanted to get out of there. I will never give my business to them again.

Do not go here! They are typical dishonest Auto mechanics who lie and say your car only takes the most expensive oil and then pretend to give you a discount by saying hey we know every penny counts will give you ten bucks off. A quick Google search and review of your owners manual will tell you that car doesnt only take synthetic oil which costs $100. It will just be fine on the regular stuff.

Fast and reliable.. Do ask for higher mileage labels to paste on ur windshield. Even though you get a full synthetic oil. They recommend you to change after 3k mileage which is not necessary .. Just the usual service centre stuff to make you refill more time.

I was not happy with the customer service I received. I needed an oil change and they could not get my oil cap off in which they put on. The lady said it was too tight and for me to come back the next day. I explained to her that they were the last ones to perform my previous oil change so Im not sure why they could not get the cap off. I came back the following day and was serviced.

I took my new Honda Fit here for its first oil change. I just did the second oil change myself, so all of the following screw-ups were definitely THIS shop, since nobody else has been under my car. The oil pan shield should be attached by 6 screws and two separate screw/rivet couplings. Two screws were missing, a third was stripped, a rivet was missing (replaced with a zip-tie) and the remaining rivet was broken. The drain plug was impossibly tight. I had to run the engine for a while to heat everything up, then hit my wrench with a hammer to get the plug loose. When I told my neighbor, he said this same shop tightened his drain plug so much a few years back that even the dealer couldnt get it of; they had to replace the entire oil pan. Avoid this place!

Terrible. Staff was friendly, however. Took my vehicle in for a simple oil change and a coolant flush. Within a few hours my car was leaking coolant and overheating rapidly. The next day I noticed my vehicle was spewing oil all over the ground. Took my vehicle to my real mechanic and determined that they cracked my coolant reservoir while working on it, and also did not do my oil change properly. Never will I ever return or give my money to this business.
