Been here since 5 am to get unloaded, dont even have a door yet. Went to try and use the bathroom and the rude receptionist is telling me I need to put a mask on, but not one employee in the entire building had one on, both the receptionists behind the glass window didnt even have one on. Her excuse was we in here working.

I was dreading this stop when I read the reviews prior to arriving for my delivery. But, they could not have been more wrong. I was in a door 30 mins after my appointment time, they were so nice. They have CLEAN restrooms and overnight parking…. IN DETROIT. can’t beat that. Appointment was at 1800. Had my bills by 1940. I will be back. Lumper was reasonable, $140 for 22 pallets.

Overnight parking at the staging area. Arrived at 2100 for next day 0700 appt. Got a door at 0300 and got unloaded at 0700. Simply Fabulous! If u want to be considered for an early delivery, arrive early and check in right away and wait for a call to get a door once they have one available. Good luck!

Been a very long time coming here. Taking meat trimming and making different hamburger meats like 93/7,85/15 for example. Their running a little slow today but nice.

Its a small place and its a little tight backing into docks off the street. They do have overnight parking but only 12 spots. A little slow at unloading but not bad. I read that people will knock on your truck asking for money or something but nobody bothered me. People were nice and courteous.

Worst place to be. People working here are very disorganized. Unwilling to work. Loading a pallet will take hours. They are just doing babysitting not work. Hours are passing without working. This place very horrible to deliver.

Listen to the yard jockey when they say no blind side back there, got unloaded quickly though.

The only reason they get one star is bc I cant give any less. I was on time for my 08:00 appt, got a door around 08:30 and it has been 3 hrs now that theyre taking to unload me and theyre still not done. Its a little tight down here but not too bad. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!!!!!!

Ive had mixed experiences with delivering here. Sometimes its quick, sometimes it takes forever. Backing usually sucks too.They have overnight parking and a public washout for $30

I worked there for a week and I got a back injury and instead of me going home they still wanted me to work with my backpain then I got replaced and then they sent me to a different position cleaning up meat off the floor and one guy got caught sleeping on the job when he was supposed to do the same job its a stressed out please to work but the good paying job

Waited 5 and a half hours for door. Pass the docks and turn around at the stop sign, plenty of room to do so and you avoid blind side backing. There were a Few spots open to park. Docks are not as tight to get into as some of these reviews say, if you think it might be just slide your tandems to the front.

It really is not tight. on the plus side of average timewise getting unloaded, counted etc. lumper charge wasnt bad. I wouldnt hesitate to bring another load here.

Horrible place to get unloaded, on time for an appointment time but still waiting for a dock. Its been 18h since I came here, appointment 04/26/18 9am, checked in 8am, still no dock 04/27/18 2am. I WILL NEVER COME BACK, WILL NEVER TAKE LOADS FOR THEM AND FROM THEM. Worst worst experience.

Every person in receiving goes on break at the same time!!!??? 2000-2030.. Smart. No fenced parking, they save that precious commodity, electric fencing, for their trailers. There’s about 12 spots for semis by the street (some street parking), any ole person can walk up to your truck and knock on the door and ask you for money or do whatever they want to ya in the middle of Detroit. Awesome. Will be avoiding this place in the future.

Had an early 1000 apt, checked in at 0800, received a door at 1830, done at 2130. Its a hit or miss with this place. From what we noticed, night shift is usually more productive. LUMPER was $100. Watch out for random people knocking on your door. We had an older man knock while we were parked, curtains closed and sleeping and he said some story and asked for money. Youre no longer allowed to park behind the electric fence so either street or staging area.

Sometimes it takes forever for a door sometimes its quick. Been here 6 or 7 times never spent a full 2 hours in a door.

Showed up at 0815 for a 1000 appointment. Set for 8 hours until I got the call to go to the door. Than set another 2 hours after getting into the door.If you plan on delivering here, I would plan on showing up at the end of your clock, get sleep before your docked because once your docked and they unload you, the trailer will shake like an earthquake!

I got here early for my appointment parking in the Staging Area to waiting for a door got to sleep some one was knocked on my door went to see who it was it was someone asking for Food or money I said I dont have nothing he then looked at me said God will judge me and that he was going to get high

A little more communication with service. Give drivers an time frame for load and unload. however problem resolution in the transportation staff kept them at a strong ratings.

Had a 10 am pickup time they were in a rush to get me there then sat over 2 hours in a door then took 2 more hours to load me.Font think Ill except a load from them any more. Not into games,Im into making money.

3 pallets. Walk inside to see whats taking so long and the guys working my load are just standing and talking. Moving a single box a minute. This is why some places take excessive time unloading.

Horrible place. 10+ hours waiting for a dock and unloaded in less than an hour. Makes no sense at all. None what so ever. Only good thing is theres parking and good places nearby to go eat. Only reason why I gave it 2 starts is the food choices nearby and for the guy that unloaded me who actually apologized for having me be here almost 12 hours.

Checked in 2 hrs ahead of 8pm appointment, that was 11/12/20. It’s been 26 hrs and I’m not unloaded. Drivers if you know you’re getting freight coming to this place, REFUSE IT !!!

The other negative reviews are spot on about the place. Checked in at 0945 for a 1000 appointment. Didnt see a door until 1700.Come at the dock from the north and youll make it just fine.

You have to wait here more then 30 hours for delivering 😡 this is a wrost location I have seen in my life.

Not a bad stop yes they are slow thats trucking so pack a lunch. When you arrive park in the staging area to the right cant miss it. Walk your bills to the office past the docks at the end not the door before the docks. Write your number on the bills they either call you or come get you when they want you. Then so you dont have to blind side go to the end of the street and make a u turn at the stop sign. You can do it i have a 389 petey of room. Definitely not a hard back at all im not sure why people are saying your skills will be tested i let my dog back in while i was in my bunk eating soup. Hope this helps be safe drivers

Worst place ever slow as heck

Been here twice including today. Took 2 hours to unload me. You have to back in a dock from the street. Your skills will be tested here. Thankfully my backing skills is A1.

Pick up 7mi down road then told i got to come here to get bills and seal.get o go park somewhere we will call you for bill ready.this place really does know how to water your time as a driver.never again.should have bill sent to pick.

If you have the option, drivers please do yourselves a favor and don’t come here. I would give them 0 stars if I could. But let’s say that one star is for having a clean restroom and staging area. Other than that, NOT GOOD. Checked in at 13:25 and was held for almost 12 hours to pick up a load. When asked how much longer it will take (after 8 hours of waiting patiently) the manager had an attitude and told me all the other trucks are waiting and they also have next day delivery appointments. Like that would have helped me get to the receiver on time in any way.

Go there first.

They would get no 🌟 from me except they have overnight parking -however, I felt like a sardine... I suspect theyre always dealing with the previous days loads thus I missed a days pay from unloading hrs too late. Their Yard dogs constantly moved trailers from one doc to another, they apparently dont effectively communicate for efficiency. The 🌟 is also for not having as bad a attitude as other places in the area.Better know what youre doing with your truck or have a codriver help with extra eyes...

I checked in 1430. Give the guy in the office my paperwork, he wrote my phone back off the bills and told me he will call me. I checked it back After 4 hrs, the second shift told they lost the paperwork, and can’t find it Or don’t know where is my paperwork. We have to call the shipper, faxed a copy, ., but the lost again.!I call the shipper back, in MN. But closed!!If you come here make sure you hold to your paperwork, or get their name. And checked it back every 30 mints so the will remember and not lose you paperwork

Everyone was very friendly, they have parking and a washout on site, unloading took less than 2 hours, it’s easy to find off of the freeway, and the lumper fee was around $100. A bit tight go back into the docks, especially when you’re blocking a public street, but small complaint for an overall great facility.

Worst companySlow, rude and liarsIf you booked a load delivering there, call your broker and cancel it on the spot, you won’t be regretting it, instead you’re going to save lots of time and money by not having to go through this!

Thank you guys for a very fast unloading experience you guys as long as allow overnight parking for the drivers I will continue to deliver here again !! Turn around back down the street drivers side like I did so you dont have to blind side back as my trainer said dont ever do that !! Check in by the door 15 for recieving and they will call you when you have a door took them about 1 and a half top for me ! Very friendly lumper 108 dollars If I would of known ahead of time I would of had it ready thank you guys for the overnight parking too will definitely come back its not as bad as everyone says it is haha ! Be prepared to sit and wait. They are, consistently, 8 to 10 hours behind.Bring a lunch and possibly dinner, a few movies (if you have a tv or laptop). Youll be sitting here most of the day.

Has washout. Has parking. Clean bathroom. Out 1 1/2 hours after appt time. Honored appt time. I dont like RH back. Im not that experienced so I turned around at the end of the street and I didnt feel like it was too bad of a backing experience. Little tight but I managed even feeling a bit under the weather. Lots of traffic but seemed to be well versed around truck. Really good experience overall. Not stressful. Everyone was very polite and helpful.

I work here as an IT contractor. All I can tell you is that Wolverine is a well run company. They are amazingly efficient and totally dedicated to quality and freshness.

This place is congested. For a new driver this can feel very difficult and discouraging but no worries. Everyone is friendly and will help. Ask. Be safe and encouraged.

Don’t come here. This place is bad and have bunch of CONS working the unloading docks, they ll try to hustle you out of money by pretending something is wrong with your load. Waiting time to get unloaded can be all day long also.

If i can give this place zero stars i would, originally employed at wolverine for 1-1/2 years in the union(which is my last). i have been dealing with alot of stress and problems especially from my union steward and management. they accuse me of every small detail and was treated badly because of my nationality. not a good company to work for, there are far more better career options to choose than this miserably place. i honestly did my best and honest work, but they could care less. i stand behind my words

Thank you for firing people that refuse to come to work. In todays softer gentler America, its time to find out who wants to work and who doesnt. I am told that the employees were told they needed to be at work.... they made their choice.
