By far the best steaks I have eaten, gave 1 to my in-laws and they absolutely loved it! Steak isnt something most people eat everyday so why not buy quality meat? Worth the drive, theyve earned a repeat customer!

What Fairway Packing Co did here absolutely amazed me ! I was heading out of town and contacted them to purchase some steaks on my way to the airport. The owner suggested, why dont we just ship it to you, we can have it there tomorrow, fresh. With my destination 1,500 Miles away I thought he was joking. This product was delivered exactly the next day via UPS. Perfectly packaged with ice and a cooler along with 2 beautiful TOMAHAWK CHOP DRY AGE CLASSIC WAGYU, 2 NY STRIP WAGYU, 2 FILET PRIME CREEKSTONE. The owner was nice enough to throw in some Fairway Steak Salt as well. I would recommend Fairway Packing to any one looking for a premium meat and an excellent service. Their meat is the highest quality you will find and their customer service is exceptional.I stopped by to pick up an order today that I accidentally placed for the wrong date. The butcher politely explained this to me and said he could cut my order for me in about 15 minutes if I didnt mind waiting. He returned in about 5 minutes with my order and gave me a few recommendations on how to cook my A5 wagyu for the best experience. First time here. It was easy to place an order and pick up. Today they even brought it out to my car. Individually wrapped steaks means I don’t have to buy a vacuum sealer!

The AUS wagyu is awesome, has more beef flavor than the real A5 (my personal opinion) at 1/9 of the price. Cant beat it! The people there treat you well. My top choice for party food, period!

Based on our conversation and my previous experience with them, I do believe that they genuinely try to offer high quality customer service, and this was a one-time fluke.ORIGINAL: Its painful to write this, because their meat is so good. But Ill never again order anything shipped from Fairway, because they significantly short-weighted an order and didnt respond to multiple emails. Id ordered a Creekstone brisket, 14-17 pounds, to smoke for a crowd at our July 4 picnic. When it arrived, it looked small, so I put it on the scale: 12 pounds, 1 ounce, including the wrapping, which was below borderline for our party. I sent two emails to three different Fairway addresses -- no response from anyone. I ended up having to run to Costco at the last minute to buy a larger brisket.Their meat is always excellent, and Ive had great service in the past when I stopped at their facility in Detroit. But Ill never again order anything to be shipped.

Wheres the Beef? Its right here at Fairway Packing located in Detroits Eastern Market and its an amazing find. While they supply their perfectly-aged, prime meats to some of the finest restaurants in town, they are also open to the public. I tried the pork and a steak and both were melt-in-your-mouth, like buttah delicious! You can order directly from their website. Ill be back for sure. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

We received several different types of steaks as a Christmas gift, and they were INCREDIBLE!!! Even cooking them just on the grill- they were better than the very high end steak restaurants. I highly recommend trying.

Decided to try and ordered wagyu ribs, burgers aged bone in New York strip, boneless ribeye as well. Went and picked up the same day. They offer next day shipping if you can’t pick up. The meat looks fantastic. Cooked the New York strip tonight and it was amazing!!! Highly recommend trying!

Great place with wonderful service. We have been buying our Piedmontese beef directly from them the last 2 years. We typically do special orders and get 1-2 full tenderloins cut into steaks with the remaining packaged as beef tips or hamburger. Just give them a call and they work with you on special orders. The web site works well for smaller orders and you get an extra discount if you pick it up from the Eastern Market location.

I originally gave this a 1 star because the ribeye I received in the Prime Boneless order was barely 1/4 thick, and I tried to reach out but no one responded.However, after my original Google review...a very diligent support person from Fairway reached out and wanted to make it right and he did. I appreciated the support and he replaced the ribeye with a more appropriate size that I would expect. As I also stated originally, the filet and burgers were great.

Best meat Ive ever had. Ive ordered and picked up from location a couple times. The wagyu burgers are amazing, tender with so much flavor on the grill. Note* when grilling the burgers or steaks, I do mine on a cast iron grill plate to prevent flare up. The wagyu NY strip and Tomahawk Ribeye are beyond words. When cooked correctly, speachless, my next purchase will be the whole untrimmed wagyu reserve tenderloin roast. Keep up the great work Fairway, and Ill keep making and sharing my recommendations.
