The work was preformed on time and completed as promised!!! The masonry work was excellent and match in color with rest of the house!! The roof repair completely stopped a really bad leak. The gutters were replaced. I am very happy with the service. I have recommended Motor City Home Improvement to a couple of people already. I call for any future repairs I may need.

Mark and his team did a great job replacing our gutters. I called Mark to get a quote on replacing my gutters. Mark was nearby so he came over right over after talking to him. The price was very fair . He told me on Friday that his crew would install the gutters on Wednesday of next week; however, he called me back on Saturday and said that he could fit me in on Monday. So on Monday we got professionally installed gutters, at a great price and before the next rain. I will be calling Mark for more home improvement projects. Thank you Mark.

We rarely write reviews but in this case we had to. We called to get an estimate on a roof, chimney work and gutters. The owner (Mark) personally came out to give us a quote. He measured, assessed and gave us suggestions which was very helpful. He answered all of our questions (and we had a lot lol). He is very competitively priced compared to other companies. We scheduled to have the work done and we are EXTREMELY happy with the service, the professionalism, respectfullness and the efficiency of all members of his team. OMG!!! These are the first words I said when I saw the roof on my moms home. It is now the best roof on Piedmont and West Chicago. It made the house look like a brand new spanking home. I thought it would have taken at least two weeks to have this job completed, and when I found out it was completed in a day, I almost passed out. There is no way you can tell me this company was able to remove three layers of shingles, replace old gutters with new, and put on a new roof in a day...impossible, at least thats what I thought. They cleaned as they worked, provided good company, and was very professional with meeting my moms roofing needs. Im ready to go home and tear my roof off, to only have it completed again by this company. Good work, and I wish I would have known about this company at the time I had my roof replaced three years ago.

Mark and his guys did a great job repairing my gutters. As a new home owner of a renovation project, Mark helped me to understand the work that needed to be done and made me feel very comfortable with him and his team. I also needed to have some cement tuck pointing done on various portions of my 90-year-old home.They matched the color of my gutters perfectly and did a great job with installation. They also did some additional work that I didnt notice and included it for no extra charge. The tuck pointing was an amazing job and made my home look great again.Mark and his crew are very reasonably priced and do a great job. I highly recommend them.

Came out immediately to look at my issue....leaky gutters 2600 dollars to repair gutters on a 1100 square foot house. Appreciated them coming out for the estimate but Ive never paid over 1200 dollars for gutters not even on my 2500 square foot home

Mark from Motor City Home Improvement installed gutters at my mothers home in Detroit. She had been without gutters for about 10 years due to another company leaving in the middle of the job. A lot of the wood around her house was damaged because of the lack of gutters. Mark replaced the damaged wood and installed new gutters. My mothers house has a curve to it so he had to install the gutters around the curve which he did very well. He and his team was professional, on time and were very easy to work with.

Ive used Motor City Home Improvement for several jobs in recent years(2 roofs and 2 chimneys). Mark and his Team do quality work at reasonable prices. Mark was very attentive at returning my calls and answering/explaining all my questions. In fact, Im was very particular when it came to picking out the color of shingle. My experience with Motor City was great! And only took a couple of days. I called Mark on Saturday, and he came to look at the house the same day. By Monday we were signing the contract and by Tuesday all the work was finished and complete! I got the gutters, and downspouts replaced along with a new fascia board and new gable trim! I called Motor City Home Improvement for a siding repair job. They quoted and completed the job the same day. The work was high quality and they went above and beyond, noticing some flashing also needed to be replaced do they took care of that as well. I highly recommend these guys!

Customer Beware! Spoke with Mark about getting my gutters cleaned. I gave him the address and mentioned it was a 2-story house. He quoted a price...actually it was a $25 range in price. Set up a weekend appointment. He called me Sun afternoon to nail down a specific time.Enter the good old bait- n-switch! Mark said he’d looked at my property on google and the price would be another $25. Remember this is Sun afternoon. I reminded Mark of his original quote, he agreed to do the job and we met at the house an hour later. Mark then tells me the price would be $25 higher (stay with me...this is now $50 more the high end of the original quoted price range)! Needless to say, I was not going to have him do the job since his price kept going up.All I can say is CUSTOMER BEWARE, get a quote in writing!!

I have used Motor City for a few different repair jobs over the years. They have done an excellent job repairing my chimney and a couple roof leaks. I decided to take the plunge and replace my entire roof and gutters. Of course, Motor City was one of the companies from which I requested a quote. The price they quoted was very reasonable. The entire job took a bit longer than originally quoted - 4 days rather than 2 - due to inclement weather and the holidays. While there were a couple of small hiccups along the process, Mark was extremely communicative throughout the entire process and personally ensured my satisfaction. Marks commitment to customer satisfaction is second to none. In fact, Mark would not accept payment until the job was completed to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Motor City for all your chimney and roofing needs.

Once the job was complete they cleaned everything so well that unless you were there you wouldnt have known any work has been done. I am extremely pleased with the professionalism and timeliness of this company. I called at around 8 am and left a message. Within a few hours Mark called and stated that he would be out to do an estimate later in the afternoon and would call me. When he arrived he called and stated that he could repair the problem with my gutters which came undone. What a major blessing this company is. Same day service. Definitely recommend them. The gentleman met with me promptly at the time specified and didnt try to sell me something that I didnt need! As it turned out I just needed to build up the area near the foundation and get positive drainage! Didnt need to spend money on new gutters at all. I had no hot water and some venting issue in the basement to the chimney. I called and Mark answered and came out to check on my issue first thing in the morning. What a mess they found in the chimney and fixed it on the spot. Great job! Reasonable cost. I would hire them again.

It took a little bit of time to schedule the job, but once we did they worked super fast and did a great job with my gutters. Very good price too.

Run like the wind! They are unprofessional and unresponsive! They repaired my mother in law’s gutters not even 6 months ago and somehow the work has come undone. Any and all attempts to contact them for a follow up repair have been met with avoidance and lies about when they’d be out to inspect everything. They set ‘appointments’ to come to the house twice this last week and have failed to show BOTH times. Unbelievable.

This company made an appointment to come out for a free estimate for my chimney. The day he was suppose to come no call no show. I call the number he called me from and asked if he forgot he made an appointment with me at he said that he dont remember. i made the appt yesterday and you said you could come out today at 5. Im confused how run a business without logging the appts you make. Never again!!!
