Great and fast service did a excellent job on my hair and beard

Terrible. The owner insisted on my 1 yr old to put a face mask on. But medically and cdc state anyone under the age of 2 couldnt wear a face make due to there system not being fully developed and they can not tell you that they can not breathe or struggling to breathe. This was the 3rd time we got into it with the owner he cuts hair and sell shirts and face mask out of the shop. He is rude and so not care about children health at all even when I told him that medically my daughter couldnt wear the mask he said he didnt care its his establishment.

Arrived at 12:15 pm on Monday, June 26th 2017. Politely greeted by the Barber. He was very patient and professional......took time to recommend hairstyles, hair care and maintenance products to my son. Very clean environment. Plenty of street parking in front of the shop. This has been a very positive experience! I would strongly recommend Authentic Barbershop on 7 mile!

Authentic barbershop has great barbers & customer service. They have you in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are great Ive been going for awhile now and never had a problem.

First time in Michigan, Detroit.In town for a wedding, ecstatic I found this place!Wayne (First Chair) gave me the cleanest hair cut in my life.If youre in town stop by and let my barbers take care of you.

My son and grandson had been clients of Authentic Barbers for about 5 years up until today! Wayne cuts based on appointments only however over the past several months he has been consistently running behind more than 15 minutes almost every appointment. He has good barbering skills but he lacks tremendously in the customer service/customer satisfaction area. He doesnt seem to understand how important customer satisfaction is and how being prompt plays a tremendous role in customer service. He is over priced for the service he provides and today was the last straw. The disrespect and lack of professionalism he displayed because a loyal customer was expressing their dissatisfaction with the long wait every time was totally uncalled for and unacceptable. There is a barber shop on every corner just about on seven mile with very good barbers and I was able to go to one get my grandson right in the chair (no appointment necessary) and get a great cut in a very professional environment.

Amazing cuts and they take their time

My sons and I along with my wife(eyebrows) and my nephew have been customers for over 10 years. Unfortunately kim miller didnt have a good experience however a barber shop is often times not a timely prompt ordeal. When you have a great barber who is highly sought after for the services he provides you may wait. Yes there is appointment only simply to get your spot in line. Ill be honest and say that often times my appt time is not the time i get in the chair. However when i do get in the chair whatever haircut i want and whatever service i ask for after the fact is accomadated. Meaning my cut may push wayne off schedule. It happens... but honestly id much rather have someone who is going to take time and effort on my cut rather than someone who is rushing me out the chair for numbers. Quality over quantity. I mean frankly kim williams how many times have you went to the beauty shop and waited? It happens people want what they want and want what they PAY for so im sorry if someones 35$ cut isnt worth your time but a barbershop is a different type of business and you just have to understand that. Im willing to bet your grandson is pleased with every cut he got from wayne and from what you say you are too my suggestion make the appt a half hr earlier than the time you plan on getting him in the chair.

Cut was decent, Great shop, great barbers, excellent service, charged me 35 dollars for a Fade and shave (non razor) though.
