The experience on Slash was absolutely amazing. The captain Steve was a great tour guide and his co captain was such a gentleman to me and my friends. We were able to bring our own food and drinks and really enjoy our experience on the Detroit river, we will definitely be using this company again. I do not recommend you do any business with this marina. They will change the rules and tell you one thing verbally and another on paper. Please read your contract in full! If you can’t get them on the phone go up there immediately because they will try to take your RV or boat. Do not rent a space because it will take months for you to get your deposit back. I don’t understand why the city is continuing to let them lease this space. They are extremely unprofessional and ran by crooks

Excellent well, rentals of boats, tiki bars, Detroit Outpost kayak rentals, outside bbq cooked food, boat docks, boat ramps, lots of parking. Wonderful place.

Launched from Riverside Marina with Detroit Outpost guided kayaking tours and had an absolutely amazing experience. I took along my bonus sons who one had never been kayaking before and one never spent any time in Detroit, both had the time of their lives, and really enjoyed it. Riverside Marina is a clean, secure, well lit and maintained marina I would gladly keep my boat here. Thank you again Riverside and Detroit Outpost, you helped make memories that will last forever. 😊

Have done many events there in the space. Easy to load and unload is a plus. Kitchen area is very small. Restrooms are large and always clean.

Be very aware of doing business with this marina very unprofessional and they make rules as they go. Please read ur contract fully and please speak to a resident before making a decision to boat/ RV there.

We had the BEST event at Riverside Marina!! Celebrating my Mothers birthday: we worked with Alicia, the Event Coordinator and the tables were socially-distanced, hand sanitizer was ever present, the staff on site routinely took out the trash and sanitized the doors completely and every request was completed. 💜 Great parking and just enough room.

The place is nice, clean and orderly. They have a store to buy items, even life vest, gas station for the boat and public restrooms. Also you can see them restoring the Boblo Island boat.

Big as hell nice people

Paid a $1000 deposit for an event post pandemic 2020 for capacity of 170 ppl. Postponed event to 2021, still can’t have event for capacity 170ppl. Riverside Marina refuse to refund any of my money. Only want to give me $40. Says contract says no refund but contract also says 170ppl. Ugh! Make sure you sure! I refuse to pay full price for an event and get 1/2 of what I want!

I do not recommend this marina at all. The current management team Jason and Yvette will attempt to defraud you by creating fake invoices placing balances on the account in an attempt to force you to walk away from your boat so they can steal the boat. Please do not put your boat here go anywhere but here.

Very nice marina...they even have what appears to be the old Boblo boat which is being restored.

We went there for my cousins repast and the location was beautiful, right near the marina.

Munch Box food truck at the marina on weekends in summer. We had a great time sitting on the grass in front of the Marathon boat gas station.

Great family atmosphere great place to dock,convenient store and gas station spacious pool house for family gatherings.Its a party on the docks every summer weekend.The view of the city skyline is absolutely amazing. I cant wait for summer to arrive to fish off the docks an launch the boat. Great times!!

Very peaceful, enjoyed seeing all the boater & jet skiers gearing up for a day of fun. Love the breeze on the river as well.

Bathroom was very clean!

We went here for an African birthday party and I was in awe. Im from Rock Hill SC and it was my first time in Detroit. The staff were amazing and the party space was LIT. There were beautiful boats and the Marine building was beautiful. We only stayed in MI for 24 hours but that was the best 24 hrs ever. Ive never seen this many black people in SC that enjoy being on boats or close to water than I have in MI. Southern hospitality seems to be up north too because everyone spoke back. Its not a bad place to visit but trust and believe I will be back.

I attended a birthday party here that was fantastic. The food was great the drinks were great atmosphere whats beautiful. I had a great time at Riverside Marina. I see if I can bring my 36 foot down there.

Great location for boats and RVs. Most people that dock there seem cool but management is kinda the opposite. Expect to wait for any service you might need. We went to pick-up the RV from the field this winter but theyd plowed in the driveway to the field. We brought back our own tools and dug it out. Would have been days otherwise. Forget trying to talk to someone or leave a message. All voice mail boxes full often.

Very nice facility. Attended a baby shower that was decorated beautifully. Adequate parking available just a little walk to entrance door.

Relativly inexpensive Boat Dockage and Storage yet with Very Nice Amenities; Pool, Hot Tub, Large & Small Banquet/Meeting spaces, Laundry, plus a separately managed Full Service Fuel Station (Diesel, Pump-out, Parts, Supplies, and Snacks) with Quick and Easy Access from Detroit River.

I had a good time place was nice clean from what I could see although it was dark they had a professional staff.

Lovely place

Attended my lil cousin baby shower. The room was not clean. Floor had broken glass. The family had to clean up before they could begin decorating. Been here a few other times didnt have any issues. Still would patronize them. I understand that things happen. The good in this case out weigh the bad.

I have been at this Marina for many years under 2 previous Management companies. And now a third. Although there has been a steady decline in the condition of the Marina, Their competitive rates was one thing that kept me coming back until today. There comes a point where customer service outweighs what you think is a good deal. Although the physical condition of the Marina has been on a steady decline, I believe that the decline in customer service is a far worse obstacle for this management company to overcome. With poor customer service comes loss of current and new customers.Sadly, I will not be returning.

Celabration for Wendell it was very nice had the pleasure of meeting him a very nice and humble man, loved the view of the boats docking so peaceful.

I greatly appreciate this location as they were the venue for my wedding this past weekend. Everything was great, nice facility with a great location especially if one has a boat.

Very unprofessional we booked an event and also paid the full amount for the venue. Three days before our event they tell us that someone who cancelled decided theyre going to go on with their event. As a result we either had to move our event downstairs, which less people then we invited can fit or we would have to change the day from Friday to Saturday. We explained that we had already sent out invitations and paid for all the decor. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

RM is a good venue for birthdays, repasses, business meetings and receptions. The view of the boats and water are beautiful.

Nothing special at all .But the party was amazing

I would not recommend to keep your boat here over the winter. Staff is impossible to get ahold of and don’t care about wasting your time. Often will not call back when they are needed. Have spent years waiting hours on end to get the yacht in the water only to be turned away. My family missed the fireworks downtown for the first time this year because of the gross incompetence of the employees.
