I love my Hubbard community and my apartment.

Well since I move here in southwest they have nice apartment. Also Propertymanager they be on they shxxt they get things done! Got give credit when credit is due.I would refer other ppl too! they help me a lot an I appreciate (southwest solution housing ) cause I was in a shelter an found them.

Never Would I recommend anyone to move in any of the Southwest Detroit apartments horrible .I have stayed in the Shirley Manor building for a whole 2years They never come out to do the work they say .They going to do .Mouse holes everywhere Along with (Bed Bugs) And the carpet, And can never get in touch with anyone when needed..Only good things they never messed with my car over there And I love the parks and food in SW..

They never let you talk to anyone except the receptionist. And, even if they make you an appointment when you show up they say they don’t make appointments for housing. I called Monday made an appointment for Thursday showed up and was told we don’t make appointments for housing. They got this application that is almost 20 pages long. I told them I and my son was disabled and all they wanted was time me to fill out an application and give them $25.00 per adult per application. They are of no help to anyone they don’t want to be of help to.

I know these people are not lying and its really sad to still go through things like this, I was just looking online because I was thinking about moving but after reading these comments I appreciate knowing about the services they provide because I am not the person to deal with such Behavior so thank you for saving my time and my money

I value my time; I’ve never put the energy into writing a review for anything. The most recent review of the Whitdell building on Hubbard has not been my experience. I’ve lived here for over two years. The building is maintained, regularly cleaned. The lawn maintenance is consistent, regularly attended to. I would describe the comment about car safety at the location to be blatantly false. A gated parking lot with ample lighting, an abundance of parking spots is free for tenants. I would consider that a win. I do not worry about the safety of my car, I’ve had no issues.Bedbugs. If there were any hint of bedbugs in this building I wouldn’t live here. Bedbugs also directly relate to the people who you bring into your home. A previous review mentioned mice coming out of the walls. Again, I have not seen any mice during my two years here.The management team follow up with you, they are not hard to deal with. Since I work through the day the property managers corresponds through email with me. She consistently responds within 24 business hours. In efforts of transparency, I am LATE on my rent frequently. She works with me so I don’t have to pay court cost every month.Again, writing Google reviews isn’t my thing. The other review is the total opposite of my experience.

My experience with this company was not good! I really liked my apartment in the Ferndale building... I just didnt like the offices customer service....the main office! Very rude and never solved my problems! I had hot water problems for my whole lease, and no lights in my bedroom for the last 3 months of my lease! Because they dont have regular light fixtures that you can replace yourself! And Im still waiting for my deposit back when my apartment was 1 of the cleanest apartments in the building! I would Never go back to them nor refer antone to them!

Do not move in the Whitdell Apartments they have mice coming out the walls. Its really bad I caught 4 MICE really unbelievable!!! On top of mice the apartments have a horrible BEDBUG problem. Management refuse to have the units exterminated every month as they once did years ago. I lived at the whitdell for 7 years and it is terrible. I cant wait to move. They dont paint the walls in the hallway, the grass isnt well kept at all, snow removal is sometimes, . Your car will get stolen is just a matter of time. The so called security does nothing to protect you and your car. I think he might just be sleep in the car all the time. Management dont care because they dont live in the building . All the people who gave a 4 star rating is because they only lived there for a year and the mice havent come out & they have gotten bit by bedbugs just wait and see!!

I actually live on hubbard and I am in love with my apartment very spacious!!!! The parking is a little hard but its close to schools, play grounds, and my favorite restaurant Armandos

I live in the harwill on hubbard since thanksgiving the fire alarm has been going off daily maintenance doesnt want to fix my air conditioning, which is included in the lease and i have called daily since last month and left a message its been over 80 degrees in my apartment with only fans the hallway is dirty until a tenant decides to clean it front door has been broken door bell system is broken

They were a big help but sometimes communication is bad.

Hey I just apply for southwest last Monday and got my letter that same week on Friday and they said Im accept it for two bedroom, housing specialist post to call me soon, but I wanna know how Long it take for them move you in ???
