Got my first rental car with enterprise, booked a car about a week and half in advance.(all of the locals were surprised that I got a booking) When I got there super fast service, great customer service super friendly, super easy to return. Great service will be booking with them again. Thank you guys so much

Extremely poor Customer Service. I scheduled a pick-up at a body shop and nobody showed up. They didn’t answer the phone when called. I Ubered to Enterprise. I reserved a Luxury vehicle and they only had a Toyota Corolla. Cars are not clean and poor service.
Awful customer service experience! I called to make a reservation gave all my information and waited for a confirmation email... sadly I never received one, I called 3 hours later and was told there are no more vehicles available and they have no reservations under my name. I cannot support a business that doesn’t support their customer. I will take my money elsewhere.
I was discriminated by the Brand Manager Austin Petterson, at least thats the name that he told me, he didnt had any name tag on him. He screamed at me in front of other customers and told me he wouldnt rent a car to me just because I didnt had a return ticket from the same airport. I needed to get to Orlando Airport. He threatened me that if I returned the car there, he would charge my card with $2,000 USD. Ive rented multiples times with enterprise and its the first time this happens to me. I think this person shouldnt represent this agency because this agency has a name and reputation to look after. I complained thru customer service. Complain #37095688.

Planned a trip to Destin. Rented a car online. Confirmation received. A couple days prior to arrival, I got a text and an email suggesting I do their online “Ready Pass” to speed up the process during pick up. I did this: provided my credit card number and drivers license number as requested. Sounds like a car is waiting, right? NOPE. Walked in on time and was immediately told “we don’t have any cars available”. Didn’t ask my name. Didn’t say hello. I was stunned. Clearly once they heard I had confirmed, they would realize a mistake was made. NOPE again. And the very rude manager argued with me, defended himself, and admitted I was the 5th one. Ridiculous. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID if at all possible. Save yourself the headache.This place shouldn’t be in business. As I’m reading reviews, apparently this same complaint has been an issue for years. Obviously they do not care.
This review is in reference to the Emerald Coast Center location Destin, FL. and to Enterprise Rent-A-Cars customer service.On 04-21-21 Id made a reservation for a vehicle for 05-07 thru 05-10-21. Id originally scheduled the pick-up for 3:30pm. On 04-29-21 I called in and spoken to a fella to update them that our AA flight is scheduled to arrive at 4:43pm. He replied no problem and informed me that if I have an out-of-state DL that theyll hold an additional $300. Id also requested a pick-up and the fella informed me that they do not pick form VPS because they are 40 minutes away.05-07-21 at 5:11pm I called Enterprise as soon our flight landed and I had mobile access. I informed the fella that our AA flight had just landed, were picking up our luggage and our taxi is waiting for us. He confirmed my reservation for a van and replied no problem, well be here. From a customer services standpoint, he offered no alternative solutions.******Customer Service Failure*********Bad apples or a Bad Tree?********We arrived at the Emerald Coast location around 6:11pm and of course theyre were closed. Thankfully Black Taxi Destin (highly recommended) was gracious and dropped us off at our Airbnb. At 9:04am Saturday morning, were informed that our vehicle was given to someone else because I was a no-show.I could write a short novel of the lack of customer service the Enterprise Rent-A-Car company provided to my family and I over this Mothers Day weekend. My husband and I were on the phone for 3 hours trying to remedy the rental car situation with the Enterprise Rent-A-Car company. Supposedly a rep had found a vehicle at the Eglin location but while we scrambled to find transportation to pick up the vehicle, we call the 99 Eglin Parkway location to confirm and no one answered. Therefore we call the 1-855-266... number to confirm that theyd have a van for us and theyd had no record of it. I even called back probably an 1/2 hour lady and was told the same. Long story short, we did not have rental call this weekend.Unless you possess a Enterprise special membership, Id steer clear of the Emerald Coast Pkwy location unless youre a nearby resident. My husband shared our situation some of the Destin, FL locals and oddly enough, they werent surprised. He was informed numerous times thats what they do. several times.
Our car broke down while on vacation in Destin. We had to rent a car at the last minute to get the family and all of our luggage home. Jared Fiegl did an amazing job helping us out. I forgot my credit card at our hotel, and he went out of his way and gave me a ride back to it. The service was amazing and the car was very clean and nice! I would definitely recommend renting from this location.
I rented a car on line last night. Received a confirmation number and all. We were out deep sea fishing - no reception- and they left a nesssge that they did not have a car. Ran from the boat to Uber and to Enterprise. Arrived and no car. Office worker said website doesn’t know. Should not use website to book unless store is open...... crazzzyy. Do not rent Enterprise 😡

From start to finish, the rental process was efficient and courteous. The car that I had reserved was available and the check in process quick so I could get on the road immediately. That I appreciated as I consider my time a valuable.
We had a last-minute change in travel plans and my husband suggested we rent a car and drive from Destin to Savannah so I went online and reserved a car through enterprise. We went to pick up the car it was very quick and easy and the rep gave us a free upgrade to a convertible SS Camaro, which was great and my husband loved the whole experience. We dropped it back off in Atlanta and it was quick and easy and we were on our way. No unexpected charges or fees. Would definitely rent from them again.
All i can say is make sure you get the insurance.... Super important!
This is nothing against Jeff, I believe he was doing the best he could. The car was fancier than anything I have ever drove & I didnt know how to drive it. Had to go back and insist he show me the basics. I wish he wasnt the only employee he seemed really nice.
Did not even want to rate you ONE star😡Made a reservation on December 9th for an F-150, for departure on December 23rd to help our daughter move then celebrate Christmas with our family. At 4:15pm December 22nd we were notified that the website overbooked vehicles and we would not have any rental at all. Thanks Enterprise. I made a return call in panic as our plans for the Holiday were now ruined and was put on hold as I listened to 10 minutes of how you treat customers like family and how valued I am as a customer. Finally I was transferred to an airport location and disconnected. Not only was your service horrific but it was a Holiday with plans that we made that were ruined. I WILL NEVER USE ENTERPRISE OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY OF OUR FRIENDS OR CUSTOMERS IN THIS TOURIST TOWN OF DESTIN FL UNLESS YOU OFFER SOME RESTITUTION.
First time renting with Enterprise. Was disappointed that they no longer will pick you up, especially since their automated message while on hold says they will.I picked the option for them to choose my vehicle - which turned out to be a pickup truck which I could barely climb into. Since we rode out a hurricane while we had it, turned out it was a great option.Wish they were open later on Saturday or on Sunday and closer to the airport. Cost me an additional $40 to get there and back to the airport.While it all worked out, next time I will be looking for a rental car at the airport.

I never received a phone call. Showed up after making an appointment. They didn’t have any cars. Said I would have to just wait around and they might get a car in. Couldn’t tell me when. The is after they used Covid as an excuse to not deliver.
Unfortunately the car I got was not my he car I requested. I got a subcompact when I reserved a medium size car. Staffing was great at pick up and drop off. But the car was a old and had over 30k miles on it.
Everything went very smoothly. The staff was very cordial and accommodating. Judy the courtesy pickup driver was very nice and explained things to see and do in the area. Everyone did a great job and the entire experience was quick and efficient. Dior checked me in and gave me a ride to where I needed to go.
I called made a reservation with Jared once I arrived on 4/3/2021they stated they swiped my credit card 💳 but it did have enough on the card completely ruined my vacation heartless location
Or truck got broke into while on vacation. We was told that they had a SUV / Truck which we could get before 5. At 5 we called and told didnt have a vehicle. Told them not acceptable. Was placed in a compact with an upgrade in the morning. They called and asked if we still wanted an upgrade which we did. Never got one in the 5 days. Was glad we got a car. Wasnt happy with being told we could get our upgrade multiple times and never got it.
Promptly had my car ready and return was quick and efficient. Individuals handling pick up and return were great!!
Overall it was a good experience. There were two glitches. First the inside windows of the car were not cleaned and one of the tires was low on air and the check tire light only showed up after we had left the lot so it took a separate trip to get it corrected.
Once again at this location a reservation is made and no car is available the day of reservation - 40 minutes before pick up time. Their response weve done everything we can but there arent any cars available. Meanwhile we are stuck and having to scramble to reserve at another rental agency 20 miles away. Customer service didnt care, no solutions offered. Goodbye Enterprise.

Had a reservation to have a car dropped off for me at a body shop which was confirmed through as email to me. They never showed up and when I called they stated they aren’t doing that. They then refused to help pay for a way for me to get to them and when I walked to the nearest enterprise I had to wait 2 hours for a car.
There is a reason that this location has such bad ratings. All of the below ratings that reflect as to why are true. We rented a car on a Saturday from the Pensacola airport. It had an alignment issue so we needed to return it to this location. Since we had family down we decided to wait and pick up another car today, Friday.I had the unfortunate circumstance to work with Olivia and from start to finish she was the most unpleasant and unprofessional person I’ve ever worked with at any Enterprise. Her lack of customer service skills for an assistant manager was surprising, I don’t think I saw her smile at anyone once. When we returned the car, she took my information and said she would create a reservation and not to worry about it, that was on a Monday. I asked again, was she sure I didn’t need to wait and she said no.Come Friday morning there was still no reservation. We called 3 times on Thursday and 4-5 times on Friday morning with no response and 15 minute hold time intervals. Additionally, I called and placed a formal complaint with Enterprise and, surprise surprise, there was no follow up on it from this location. After my family had to call in intervals, we finally got through and received a confirmation number.When we got there, things progressed downhill. They wanted to charge us over $300 for a one day rental and one way fee. Avis is only charging us $147 and has had impeccable customer service. The branch manager that appeared out of nowhere had no idea what the situation was so it makes me wonder what happened to our escalated call. Either way, we walked out and will not be utilizing this location ever again and will advise all friends, family, and co-workers that vacation in the area to stay far away.Beware before going through this location! Call Avis or another avenue first and save yourself some stress on your vacation!
FIrst time we have used this branch. Have loved using Enterprise for decades and will continue Im sure. Looking through some of the other reviews It looks like this branch can get overwhelmed at times. We had one person in front of us being helped when we walked in for our reservation and it took over an hour to get us on the road. Staff was very friendly and I would say to potential customers DONT BE IN A HURRY. Theyll get you taken care of as soon as they can.
The Destin location is very busy, cars frequently get picked up there and dropped off at the airport forcing them to scramble to find a car in time for a reservation. I had to wait almost 2 hours for a rental after having booked a reservation months ago but Olivia is an amazing customer service leader. She managed the chaos with a smile and sunny disposition and even gave me a credit for my troubles.
Not happy. Called the local location and they send me over to a call center in India or somewhere. Asked the lady for a quote for a suburban and she said they don’t have them. I told her I knew they did because I have seen them there. I was wanting to speak to someone at the Destin location to confirm I would receive a suburban. The lady on the phone in India had no clue what the word Chevrolet or suburban was. But she could offer a standard suv. Enterprise Learn how to train your staff well. And stop paying laborers from overseas who don’t even know what a suburban or Chevrolet is. I even asked for a quote from Knoxville. She had no idea what that was and asked me to spell it. At that point I was done. Frustrating that you call to speak to the local place and can’t even reach them. That is enough to send me somewhere else. But then hiring staff from overseas who don’t have a clue. You have lost my business.
The store was not prepared to service customer. Very long line and every car that was reserved for someone to rent had to be cleaned. Took an hour to pick up a reserved car. Another customer had to go to another store 20 minutes away. Be careful when renting with Enterprise.
The rental auto was fine and was able to drop it off in another city. Im giving 5-stars because the pickup and drop off was fast and easy. Ive had experiences with rentals where the clerk RE-entered all my data even though I provided it online when I made the reservation!! Good fast service with friendly people. Thanks.
I rented a car for the 2nd time at this location and found the people that work here are friendly & helpful. The assistant manager Ted picked me up and then took me back when I was done with the car. Ted and I had good conversations while riding together. Thank you Destin Enterprise car rental.
Reserved a mini van with a confirmed reservation, upon arrival informed that there wasn’t a mini van available. This is the second time at this Enterprise location. I recommend Hertz in the same shopping center. They have great customer service and appreciate your business!
I was very nervous to rent from this location based on the poor reviews and even called Customer Service to express my concern. Well, I couldnt be happier with the service. They picked us up at the exact time we requested (chose 10:00 am because earlier is busier). Had an issue with the bill being more than what was quoted with points redeemed, but they fixed that with no problem. Drove us back to our location as soon as we dropped off the car. The car was brand new and clean. The employees were all pleasant and very helpful. I wouldnt hesitate to use this agency again.

DO NOT TRUST WITH RESERVATIONS!When we arrived by plane to pick up our car reservation that we booked and prepaid for through expedia weeks ago, they were closed (being 10:30pm) and had us directed to there partners. After waiting in line for 45 minutes we were told they dont have anymore cars.
My sister and I recieved a pick-up service from our hotel. The driver was sweet and she gave us some good recommendations for food. Once we arrived we got checked in and in less than 10 minutes we were heading to our vehicle. Upon returning the vehicle, customer service was great yet again and we were done quickly and back at our hotel in no time. If I ever return to Destin I will definitely use Enterprise again, great people and fast service.
In my previous post I gave it 5 stars. Now under the new management that is rude and doesnt understand customer service I give it none. I never never ever experienced this type of service from any one. Avoid them as much as possible. Go to Fort Walton and rent. I filed a compliant with corporate and they have not replied. So I dont see this being fixed.I use to travel every week when I lived in Michigan. I know the difference of an ok rental experience to a great. It is so nice to have a team that serves you and make sure your needs are taken care of. They stepped up in a busy time of traveling and delivered. I will use them again.
I rent from Enterprise a couple times a year. Overall, I think they do a wonderful job and I would rate the company as a whole much higher. I rented here because of the proximity to the Executive Airport. The associate I dealt with at this location was very nice, but the policies here were a bit draconian. They held $200 on credit card which Ive never seen Enterprise do before. This location is in a strip mall. My rental was through noon Sunday and they are closed that day. You leave the car in the parking lot and hope for the best.
Four stars are the gal that works there and is great considering she needs help. not enough staff.I havent been there yet when the waiting wasnt brutal between the phone calls, doing check ins, and or trying to check out persons with others there waiting equally frustrated. this is the summer for crying out loud! staff accordingly.
I wasnt having a good day until I called to rent a car after my car started smoking and I had to put it in the shop, while I was suppose to be on a little vacation and plus it was raining. I spoke to Robert and he was so nice and helpful, he found me a car really quickly and offered to have someone to come pick me up, then when I got there it was a really quick and easy process, so I would definitely recommend this Enterprise for good service and very nice and clean cars. The car I had was a Grey Camry and it was clean and filled with gas, so my bad rainy day was instantly turned into a good rainy day!!!!!! Thanks to Robert and Enterprise
Do NOT go to Enterprise!! We reserved a car, had a confirmation number & arrived at Enterprise only to be told there were NO cars available. This was at 5:45PM,on Thursday, which didnt leave us any options other than going to the airport. According to the branch manager, there was a car available at the airport, but the branch manager was unwilling to give us any information/confirmation number (not that the confirmation number would do any good!). Upon talking to a customer service supervisor, there were no cars available at the airport.Why were we told by the branch manager there was a car available? The supervisor was going to escalate my concerns & someone would call me. (That didnt happen!) Do we take the chance & drive to VPS? Certainly not!! UNRELIABLE, IRRESPONSIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL.
What can I say good experience little pricey
I am a corporate client that rents vehicles mostly from the Destin- Emerald Centre location. Over the past 3 years every rental has been clean and in good working order. There was one minor issue with availability concerning a reserved vehicle, but they had it resolved within an hour. Great people providing great customer service.
The company that picks you up refused to pick me up! Ive rented with this Enterprise location in the past and was always able to utilize this service as well as my friends and family in my area. When I explained this to Tyler, he told me that there was new management at that location and it was at their discretion. I spent $35 on an Uber to get there. Funny thing, when I dropped the vehicle off, I was offered a ride back home without issue by the staff on duty that day. I think your biggest issue is with your new manager Tyler! He needs to GO!! Know nothing about customer service or how to run this business!!

The worst experience with the rental companies I’ve ever experienced.I was tried to make reservation on the phone for a pickup truck, they told me they have it and gave me the price for the time I needed $208.So I came to the office to see if the truck is big enough for my needs, the lady came out and showed me the car, put in the mileage and the gas, and before giving me the keys gave me the price almost $450, so I refused to take it and asked to talk with the manager. The manager told me I’m sorry we tried to help you and you refused, so the car is no more available for you. I and so I lost about an hour and the car.Avoid this location if possible.

The folks here were very helpful. They fixed me up with a Chevy Tahoe for my trip to Gainesville. It was brand new and rode like a dream.I never have problems with Enterprise, they are a quality company!

I am a corporate customer of the enterprise rental car company. Destin is my home base and I rent cars approximately 2 weeks out of every month of the year. Does this facility is extremely well one. The cars that they provide for me are always clean and in excellent working order. Their service has also been excellent with regards to providing me with a car when it is required.Their employees are extremely friendly and always acknowledge me when I enter their facility. We are local I have been using this Branch for 7 years, unfortunately we now have a new branch manager that seems not to be able to do anything or help any customer in any kind of way, we will never uses this Branch as long as the new branch manager is there. Do not waste your time she cannot help you, she will not help you and she will not smile.
Reserved a car for a three day business trip. Quick service when I arrived at the rental office; got me into a car quickly and I was on my way.
Another great experience! The team at the Destin location were courteous and very accommodating. GREAT customer service! Little things can happen (different cars than expected, timelines not quite perfect) but when dealing with customers that change their mind &/or are late with returns, its how the staff handles these situations that keeps me renting from enterprise. I dont look for the least expensive car site, I look for customer service!
You check the car before, but when we returned it they said there was a scratch. I can Guarantee there wasn’t so that was the most aggravating thing. All they said was “hey I offered you guys protection” so if you don’t get protection they will find another way to charge. Go somewhere else.

I had a good experience with this company. I had no issues renting the car and returning it. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only negative aspect would have been that my pickup ended up being 15-20 minutes late.
Never try to use this place complete waste of time. Never had a car for us screwed up our whole trip and wouldn’t do anything to fix it. Save yourself the frustration.
Excellent customer service. The lady at the front noticed a sneaky charge the Tampa Enterprise folks put on our bill and immediately removed it.
Worst customer service that I have ever received in the last 2 years that I have been loyally renting cars from Enterprise. The 2 ladies at the front desk were very unprofessional and would rather discuss traffic and weather with other customers than actually book reservations. My reservation was sent to Gulf Breeze, FL even though I was staying in Destin, FL. Tonya simply stated that there was nothing she could do shrugged her shoulders. She also had the audacity to ask me if I accidentally booked with HERTZ instead. As if I am completely incompetent. I was so upset about the way that these two ladies handled my reservations. I then had to travel 1 hour back and forth to Gulf Breeze, FL that didnt even have a reservation in the system either. They sent a driver to come meet us halfway and the driver never showed up. We spent another 1/2 hour just waiting. Meanwhile back at the vacation rental we were charged an additional fee for staying beyond the allotted time period because Enterprise messed up our reservations. I then had to drive in vehicle that wasnt clean and had a broken window. We had to leave items out because we couldnt get a larger vehicle for my family of 5. I strongly fee that I will be changing my loyalty to another rental place. I will never rent from the Enterprise at any Destin, FL location. And quite honestly I cannot believe that management hasnt caught these employees treating customers like this. I realize its supply and demand so customer service may not be a strong hold. But the least you can do is communicate and treat me with common courtesy.
Busy day on pickup as it was a holiday weekend. Had to wait for the car, but not too long. Attendants were friendly and helpful.
We drove down in a crappy car olean NY gave us, literally had duck tape on the seats in the back of this car for the holes, the check engine light came on, the front end shook horridly and the breaks were bad. We had it towed and went to the emerald coast enterprise in Destin. We couldnt be happier with the service. It was great they got us in a truck and they were so helpful and friendly. Now we will get home safely . Thank you !

I picked up my rental truck and drove it until the day the sheet of paper they gave me said it needed to be returned. I called the location and let them know the return date stated Id only be keeping it for 3 days and that I was going to drop it off before going to work, they assured me that the end date listed on the receipt wasnt actually correct and that I didnt have to return it yet. They explained to me that my insurance company would indeed contact me when the rental would need to be returned, and that they would also contact enterprise whom would contact me as well. I called back a couple of days later and checked the see if the end date had posted? They let me know once again that there was still no end date and that it didnt have time returned yet. Finally I arranged a day off of work and returned it because at this point it was just in my way. I took it back to them and everything went smoothly. Nearly 2 months later I get a call from the Destin location and a man tells me my rental truck is due back. I let him know that it had been months since I had returned the rental, he apologized and said that they had been cleaning house of bad employees in the past few months and that alot of things had not been handled correctly. I explained to him the situation and what I was told by his employees. Since then I have been contacted numerous times by the manger, Tyler. He let me know that my insurance company had handled this situation incorrectly since they never officially put an end date until much later and that it stated my insurance company only intended to pay for 3 days. He said thats never happened before and that I am now responsible for all of the days I had the rental past what my insurance company said they would pay for, even tho his employees assured me I was covered.Why would I be liable when your employees who at the time were representatives of your company assured me that I wasnt required to bring the rental back yet? Regardless of whether or not they were soon after fired, I called multiple times validating whether or not it was time for it to be returned and I was told my covered rental time by my insurance had no end date? This has been a very unprofessional experience and nobody at this location seems to communicate well so they blame it on fired employees. Will let all of my vacation renters know there is a hertz rental right next door, this Enterprise location is horrible.

This has been a very unprofessional experience and nobody at this location seems to communicate well so they blame it on fired employees. Will let all of my vacation renters know there is a hertz rental right next door, this Enterprise location is horrible.
Im a very understanding person, but I have an infant son to care for and I dont have an endless supply of money. My husband and I had to rent a car to drive home after our flight got canceled due to Hurricane Nate. We were picked up and driven to enterprise of Destin by one of their employees. She was very sweet and interacted with us and our son. We loaded all of our bags and such into the car (That was still dirty and had damaged that the guy behind the desk told us were all cataloged) and rode over. The car was an compact sedan (the man behind the desk said it was a midsized sedan and said he would price it as such); we reserved a full size but took the compact as we had already loaded our belongings. The guy behind the desk informed us we would get a reduced price because we took a smaller vehicle. We received a charge for nearly $500 for a 1 day rental. When my husband called the store to know why the guy said there was a $200 security deposit that we would get back upon returning the vehicle (or shortly after). Days after we should have received our deposit back, my husband called customer service and they instructed us to call the store because they have to process it. My husband called the store and was on hold for long enough for an automated response to say no one could make it to the phone (at least 30 min). He called again, immediately, and a man quickly answered. He put my husband on hold after getting our information and saying he would take care of it. My husband sat on hold for another 25 minutes and hung up and tried to call again and was put on hold for about 10 minutes before hanging up. (This was WELL before closing time.) My husband called customer service back and reported the issue. The customer service representative said that the ticket still showed a full size sedan (that they were over charging us for according to what the quote she could see said). She was fantastic and put in a ticket that EVERYONE associated with that store will see regarding our issue and the need for us to get the security deposit back, as well as a reduced prize for the size of the vehicle, and a discount for taking a vehicle that hadnt been cleaned. However, it is still on the store location to fix. And they still wont answer the phone. From our experience, this enterprise location cares only about ripping people off and stealing their money. Hopefully, they will rectify the situation and we wont have to take further action. If they do not, please save yourself the heartache and money and rent a car elsewhere.Update: I have changed my review from one star to three because they did rectify the problem to an extent. We still went through a time consuming and frustrating ordeal. From what I understand, they are now under new management.
Tyler Osborne in the Destin, Florida location is the most professional and courteous sales rep with Enterprise Rentals that I have ever experienced in my 12 years of doing business with this car rental company!!

We reserved a vehicle online and got an uber to their location. When we showed up they told us they had no vehicles left for us. They were very unhelpful and just stared at us with blank expressions when we asked why we were able to reserve one online ahead of time. There were larger vehicles available that we inquired about, but they werent willing to work with us even though they were at fault. I wasnt impressed by the customer service at all.
We arrived in Destin and realized we booked our car somewhere other than the airport location. Frustrated with our mistake we found out that our reservation at a different store has been given away. We went onto our hotel via Uber frustrates with the way the 3rd party booking policies are handled. I called back and spoke with a lady named Olivia. She told me that we were 5th on a waiting list for a car and may not get one that day. I explained how frustrated my mother was with herself for making the mistake of booking at the wrong location, we were there celebrating her 60th birthday for the week and this wasn’t a great way to start it. Olivia assured me she would do the best she could to find us a car and how important it was to celebrate our loved ones. We should enjoy our time and she would take care of us. Within the hour she called and had us a car. Not only did she offer to deliver the car, she brought us a nicer car because of the booking. Confusion and the cancellation of our third party reservation. She delivered the car to us and had a birthday balloon for my mom in the car. She went above and beyond to be sure that we were happy with our service. I think it’s important to celebrate people who go the extra mile. It’s rare to find and such a lost quality to keep customers coming back. Thank you Olivia and Emerald Coast Enterprise for making my mom’s birthday trip awesome!
I rented from the Duluth Georgia location and drove to Destin. I realized once I was here that the car I rented had an expired license plate so I called the Georgia location and I was told to contact the closest office and ask for an exchange. I tried calling the Destin office several times and my calls kept being placed on hold with no one ever actually picking up to speak with me. So I drove to the office at the advice of the coorporate representative that I also called with my situation.I waited 20 minutes to be seen by the manager Desiree. The entire time the phones were ringing non stop and there were five employees standing around and ignoring the phones. When I finally got to speak with Desiree she told me she doesnt have any cars and she would call me that afternoon to let me know when one came in at 2-3pm. I gave her my information and I was the one that had to call her at 4pm. First I was delighted that someone actually answers the phone but Iwas told that she had employees getting more cars from the airport and would call me back when they got back. I never heard back. So I contacted corporate offices at around 8:00 pm through social media. There I was told that the regional manager had been contacted and the situation would be fixed by tomorrow. It has now been about 30 hours since I notified Enterprise that I needed an exchange and not one single person has been able to help me and Im driving around with an expired tag on my family vacation.Thanks Enterprise for making my vacation soooo relaxing by renting me a car with expired tags!!!! So...when I do get a ticket for this Ill be glad to post that picture and updated review.Update: it took 2.5 days to sort out my issue and many phone calls. They wont even let me talk to a regional manager. Enterprise had triple A bring me a van to exchange and it reeks of mold/mildew. That is what I got for all my complaining...a moldy vehicle. I will never do business with this company again.
Terrible! Made a reservation a week in advance to pick up a car on Friday 08/05/16 in Destin Florida. We get there and no car. They tell us they have 26 reservations and only 3 cars. No phone call to let us know, no sorry, no we will find your another car ... just too bad youre stranded and out of luck!Enterprise will never get our business again, and I promise I will make sure to tell all our friends and family the same.I felt sorry for all the other 20+ people in the same boat today 08/05/16.

I rented a SUV from this location to drive my wife and I back to Atlanta because she had to have emergency surgery while we were down here on vacation. I had an initial hiccup with the branch upon picking up the car but they fixed it very quickly allowing be to get back to my wife.The next day when we realized she would not be discharged from the hospital i decided to extend the rental period for one day. I tried calling the branch for TWO HOURS and never could get an associate to answer the phone. I kept getting transferred to the national number and each time those people told me to call the local branch. It was an endless loop. I finally, begrudgingly decided to leave my wife alone in her hospital room to drive 30 mins to the branch to talk face to face with the front desk person.Once there, I sat down and heard the phone ringing off the hook. The front desk person was busy with a customer but there were three other employees in the back sitting doing absolutely nothing except complaining about how much the phone is ringing. None of them made an effort to answer the phone. This was INFURATING knowing that had been me for two hours and none of the made an attempt to help me during that time.Once I finally got to talk to the front desk person he informed me that their computers were down but he would call the other local branch to extend the rental. That phone call took less than 1 minute to complete!!! When I told him Id been calling for two hours he apologized and said that I could have just called the other branch (like I was supposed to know this). Maybe if one of the other employees refusing to answer the phone had actually done so they could have saved me an hour of driving and two hours of frustration.The ironic thing is how much the on-hold phone recording talked about Enterprise being a family owned and customer satisfaction based company. I witnessed NONE of those principles today at this specific branch. Because of this, they have lost me as a customer.Maybe some more customer training is in order at this branch?
They are always professional. The only downside is they are always busy and sometimes the wait is too long.
This location is great. Friendly staff, clean cars. My favorite Enterprise location.
I made an online reservation for 11:30 on a Saturday...I was running a few min late, so I called and told them I would be there by 11:45. When I arrived at 11:45am I presented my Id/ Credit Card, the guy at the front desk printed the paper work and told me they were waiting on the car to get there and it would be a few mins,I said would it be okay if I run next door and get something? The guy said ya no problem. I walked out of the car rental and went next door at 11:55am I arrived back at 12:03 and the doors were locked and no one was there! They had closed!!! I called the 1800# and was told that it would be reported to management that they had done that and of course apologized! I can’t express to you how much of a damper it put on things in general for me!!! I am a rewards member with enterprise and live locally and have used them more times than I can count! It’s very disappointing to know that they have become that careless that could not even call me and give me a heads up!!!Also that was a week ago, no one has even called to follow up. I will not be back, they have lost a loyal customer...not to mention I work in hospitality and I will no longer use word of mouth to send them business, instead I will let everyone know to beware they could leave you up a creek without a paddle!
My family & I recently visited Destin Florida for spring break.We rented a car from Enterprise - Destin location...The staff that I came into contact with were friendly and professional.If in Destin again, I will rent from the same Enterprise lication.Signed,A very satisfied customer

Crappy service. Flew to Florida, had a car reserved, or so I thought. 30 people waiting in front of us with no rentals to give out. Very poor attitudes of staff. I will never use them again due to being stranded after conformation of rental.
Tyler and the team at this location are the best, due to the huracanes they didnt have too many options in their lot, well they went above and beyond to provide us with the vehicle that we needed for a church event.Ill recomend this location and high five.
I traveled with my husband to Destin, FA last week and reserved a rental car for the dates of July 15th the 18th. I called the office that morning to arrange for Enterprise to pick us up from the resort that we were staying at since I did not see that as an option on the website. I could not reach anyone after calling 6 different times so I took an Uber to get to the office at 10:30, the scheduled time of pick up. When we got there, we were informed that the office did not have any cars and that there were 8 people in front of us even if one did come in. There was no apology or any acknowledgment that Enterprise cared even a little bit. The woman helping us said she did not expect for us to be able to get a car and that it was pointless waiting. She said that it happened all the time and it was normal practice for them to double book just like airlines do. I want you to know that my husband and I had planned a fun day of visiting all of the places where my husband had lived growing up and were not able to do that. Instead, we wasted a half of day out of a 3 day vacation waiting for the 10:30 pick up time to arrive and then another 30 minute, $20 Uber ride there and another 30 minute, $20 Uber ride back to the hotel. Not to mention the 30 minutes sitting in the office trying to figure out what to do. I called the main Enterprise number to see if they could help. The woman on the phone said she could give me a number to call and file a complaint and someone would be in touch with me in 24 to 48 hours later. I was not sure how that was helpful at all. The thing that is so unbelievable about this is that it even said on my confirmation, Your Enterprise reservation is confirmed!No need to call to reconfirm. This was one of the worst customer service experiences that I have had and really put a damper on my vacation. If i could rate them with zero stars I would.
Terrible service was charged for a bigger vehicle with my insurance because it was the only car available. Then the company double charged me for insurance
Hey dont follow your GPS if you are looking for the Destin location. That A leads you right to the corporate office for Hogs Breath. Either call them and ask them for directions or look for the shopping center behind Hancock Bank on 98...
Opened late there was a line of people waiting. Charged wrong and extra delivery fees. Hidden fees not told to me at the initial total. That is why they have a 200 dollar deposit
Not happy with car not delivered until almost locations closing time. I was always under the assumption that when you reserved a card in advance, the car will be there. We were told the location was out of cars. We had to do errands that day which we put us behind doing what were supposed to do.Whats the use of reserving a car?

Worst experience I have ever had at any business in Destin. Not the money they took, but lack of integrity. Dishonest staff with misleading information about insurance coverage for double dipping. My insurance company had my rental and coverage taken care of and a rep who works at front counter told me my insurance actually wouldnt cover damages only the rental. I paid almost 200 in damage insurance through enterprise only to find out this was not the case. Then rep covered her @%% by rephrasing her sales pitch to management. They refused to give me my money back. I would hitchhike before considering destin enterprise rent a car.Nice hussle thanks for taking advantage of someone who just went through an explosion in their own car and needed assistance. Ive been in sales for 20 years and I dont lie to sell. I guess you cant expect that from everyone!!/
I have rented from them many many times....always helpful always as promised.
I made online reservation for mini van and carried confirmation number to Destin Enterprise location where I was told nothing was available except a pick up truck at a higher rate. I specifically reserved a van because I have 3 children in car seats. There are vans and suvs on the lot. They have horrible customer service. Confirmation numbers and reservations are worthless at Destin Enterprise.
After three rental experiences at the Destin location, I am extremely satisfied with the courteous nature of the staff. It is like being picked up by a friend.
I always choose them, because they have affordable prices and I can have all kind of Car that I need I already got, Vans, trucks, sedans and small cars. Every time that I need I can count with them.
