The young guy who was working both days that I rented from here was super friendly and even gave a couple of recommendations on where to bike to and what paths to take. Even recommended to stop a few times to rest since it was so humid out. He wanted to make sure I didnt get heat exhaustion. I recommend this place if you dont have a vehicle and want some exercise while catching some sun.

We rented bikes for our recent stay in Destin since we had a difficult time finding ubers. Great customer service and even delivered the bikes to our condo and picked up at the same place. Very convenient.

I am very upset as a property owner that this bike company would not even take notice that they’ve left seven bikes on top of our very nice landscaping. There are bike racks in the complex that are available for use. There is no excuse.

Rent Gear Here should be a case study in leadership and customer service. We’ve been a customer for 8 years and every interaction we’ve ever had has resulted in someone going above and beyond. Gear was not in good shape. Had to get a replacement cooler delivered because one of the wheels was broken. Straps on chairs were broken, chairs were old. It was a disappointing experience compared to a rental company we used in Clearwater. There is lots of room for improvements. Carrying those chairs was almost embarrassing. I can’t believe they put labels advertising their company on them.Kudos to Rent Gear Here for following up with me and working to make things right. I will definitely give them another chance in the future.

Do not rent from this place! I called ahead to the main number which apparently was in their wherehouse to reserve bikes but the woman I spoke to said no need. She also quoted me a price of 15 dollars to rent for a half day but when we got to the shop the goofy lady there said they hadn’t had that price in 4 years. The bikes they gave us were old, disgusting and unsafe! 2 of the 3 bikes we rented the seats were wet due to someone else just getting off of them and their sweat. The bikes were not cleaned or even sanitized prior. One of the seats was about to come up off and kept sliding. When we returned the bike my husband told the woman about them but she had nothing to say or was not willing to try and remedy this problem by some compensation. My sister called and left a message to have the owner call to speak about the situation but no return callback. Such poor customer service all the way around! . Love 30a but would never rent or recommend this place again. So many other professional bike shops to rent from.

While staying at the Island Princess my family was fortunate to meet Zach who was working during our stay. Wow! What a curtious, delightful, and helpful guy! Two thumbs up for having such a wonderful employee!!

Very poor service the employee that was running the place was very rude when I joke with him about finally opening up and he Yell at me and said stand back behind the pillars and dont stand at my counter . I was staying at Caribbean Dunes and will not go back to rent if this blonde guy is working there

Rent Gear Here had some excellent prices and conveniences for my bike trip in Destin. Amber was incredibly helpful in picking out the perfect bike and wiping the grease from the seat post for my ride and greeting me with dazzling southern charm.

Rented kayaks. Equipment in good repair. Attendant Amber was friendly. Decent rates.
