Brazilian tech Desi is amazing and I would schedule with her over and over again. The reason for a three star rating is because I had a rescheduled appt that was made and confirmed over the phone but when I got to the appt, it was only to find out the receptionist apparently didnt finalize the appt. No recollection, my fault or my bad just that she doubt she forgot. Because I know others who had this same exact experience, I decided to write a review. Hopefully the matter is looked in to.

Worst dermaplaning facial I have had in my life! Literally feels like I threw my money away... I’m no stranger to getting a dermaplaning facial, and I have always had amazing results! My face didn’t feel smooth at all after, pigments, dead skin still on my face! And the esthetician who seemed VERY inexperienced was telling me it’s in my skin and I should exfoliate and moisturize! Like I haven’t been doing that already! The point of a facial is to get all of that! Usually when I get a dermaplaning facial, you can literally immediately see the new glowing skin on your face, not only was that not the case, a day after my face started breaking out! I’d give zero starts if I could! Worst money spent ever!Maybe their other services are good! but DO NOT waste your money and get dermaplaning here!

This was my 1st time here, and Lakeshia did a SUPERB job on my brows. I am very very skeptical about anyone touching my brows. I have experienced some bad techs. NOT Lakeshia she did not mess my shape up, and she asked questions to make sure I wouldnt have any problems with using the wax. I have Ombre eyebrows and I need to get them cleaned up at least once a month. The lady that used to keep them cleaned up left the industry. I thought I was in trouble. Soooooooo I got a combo done on my eyebrows with Dameion at Candee Skin in Desoto! It was a great experience. He was very informative and meticulous on creating a custom brow look for me. I was concerned about the possible pain that microblading and microshading/ombré could cause BUT it was absolutely remedied with the numbing cream— which I know many aestheticians do not even offer. I’m happy with the after look and I’m excited to see the final healed process after it has peeled etc.

First time customer, The staff were fast, polite and professional and my tech was a seasoned Veteran and knew her skills 100%.

Called and made an early appointment so that I could get in and out (busy day). Showed up early and found that the person who booked my appointment over the phone did not book it correctly. I was told I would have to wait. First time experience didn’t leave a good first impression with front office organization.As far as the service itself is concerned, I saw Ms. Faith. She was a delight. Positive, upbeat, and knowledgeable. I had never experienced hard wax before and Faith thoroughly explained the differences between soft and hard wax and happily answered other questions I asked around other skin care services. I had lower leg and under arm done.The facility while not posh or “spa-lush” is clean, freshly decorated and in a great location. Private and secluded but not out of the way for the southwest Dallas Resident.HINT: Make sure you schedule your free brow wax on your first visit. Found out that first timers get brow waxed free. I didn’t know that and had already had my brows done earlier this week. There are no rain checks offered on that opportunity. If you don’t get the brow done the first visit, even if you’ve never had them done before or don’t need them done at that time, you won’t get your first brow wax free at Candee’s on a subsequent visit.
