Ive been here for 4 months and i love my apt. my only issue which is a big issue for me is parking. theres no covered parking at all. & the parking they do have is limited at least in the front. Ive noticed some people have multiple reserved spots which is not smart in my opinion because if one person takes up majority of the spaces when someone new moves in they will not have the opportunity to get a reserved park close to their unit.The office is nice but they do not communicate within the offices about fees & such. I was charged a late fee paying my rent and i got it waived by Victor but then i get a call from the office from a woman asking when am i paying my balance and i had to tell her what was said before and she said she would make note so he could 0 out my account. But whats interesting to me is it was a zero balance after I talked to Victor so who put a balance on there and whyyy.So yea, i recommend the apts if your unit it closer to the back of the apts because the front is overpopulated and theres barley any parks available and some cars dont ever move.Ill be moving nxt year 🤷🏾‍♀️

I’ve only been here approaching a month and it’s been a great experience so far. Janet has been exceptional. Always wears a smile and goes over and beyond every to make sure residents (especially me) are taken care of. David and Trent have been tremendous! David handles every maintenance request to perfection. Even saw me at my car and came over to make sure everything was going okay! Great place to live!

I purchased a home and was set to close. The close date was pushed back, and I went to the then manager to address my dilemma. She understood and told me to not turn in a move out date until I knew my for sure move out date. She told me NOT to worry about reletting fees because my unit was popular. I was told that if my unit leased, I would be ok. I turned in my letter and thought that I was in the clear.It was to my surprise, that a new management team had taken over when I was due to turn in my keys. I called frequently to make sure that my account was in the clear, I expected to pay the normal fees associated with leaving such as utilities. I was then informed that I owed 2500 for reletting and carpet damage. You can imagine my disbelief! Especially since I am the only person who has gotten the carpet cleaned! The apartment complex in all their management changes only cleaned the carpet once, and not at the actual lease renewals like they are supposed to.As anybody in dealing with this news may be, I was a little confused, so I had multiple questions. The young lady in the front office was extremely rude, and over talked me to the point that I had to ask her to please let me speak. She threatened to hang the phone up in my face. I asked to speak with the regional manager at that time.I was given a phone number to Clear Management Properties. You must call 20 times before you speak to a live person. You can leave a message but expect 24-48 hours before you are called back.The regional manager looked over my file and stated that the carpet charge should not have been applied and that she would take that off. She stated that she could do nothing about the reletting fee, because the employee that told me that was no longer employed. I did not have the information in writing but did tell the staff that I could get a notarized letter explaining the incident. I was told that they would not accept it because the employee was no longer there.I felt defeated, but not knowing what else to do I waited for the collection agency to call. When they did, they told me I owed the original 2,500 amount. I told the individuals what happened. They contacted the management staff at clear management property (owner of this property) and an individual from the staff told them that the information on the account was valid, and that no manager would ever tell me such a thing. So here I am going back and forth with the collection agency over information that the apartment has stated.I spoke with the manager of the collection agency, who then told me someone would contact me back to get the matter resolved. I had spoken with this agency so much, that I had their number saved in my phone. My main question is, why was this information not verified before being sent to a credit agency? Why do I as the tenant have to validate information that the apartment complex should have dealt with?Yesterday, I got an alert that this account was on my credit. I called the agency and they said they contacted me…long story short, from a new number other than the one that I originally had been contacting me! Now my credit score is affected by something that I have been trying to get to the bottom of and resolve for the last THREE MONTHS.All of this to say, IF YOU LIVE THERE, RECORD EVERYTHING THAT IS STATED ON PHONE AND IN PERSON. I was never delinquent in my payments, or as a tenant. This entire experience is causing me a great deal of stress to the point I may need to seek help. I am overwhelmed with this and I think I may need to seek legal help.

I used to live here, after the the property was bought out my clear Management it was a clear mess. Management wasn’t good the phones was never answered maintenance request took forever management was horrible. I spoke to the manger of this Huntington ridge in August informed her I was being laid off due to COVID-19. She told me I had to Provide documentation that I was being laid off due to COVID-19 this was in August I told her I was moving she said my My reletting fee was 852.00 that was the second time she told me my Relatingfee the first time she said that it was 897.00 Plus $130 for the water bill. I said OK I need a copy of my lease never got the copy of my lease she also told me that I need to get the carpet professionally cleaned which I did I need to have the apartment professionally cleaned which I did provide her a receipt for both of those services. I go back to her the keys, she never wants told me about a termination that I will be charged a termination fee she told me that the reletting fee is for me to get out of the lease she said oh you don’t have any worries because this apartment or rent quick because it’s on the first floor and it’s at the front if it doesn’t rent then you’ll have to pay the 852 for the next month which would’ve been October hi check my portal the same day I dropped off my keys I have a fee 1900.00. I’ll call her and ask her why do I have a Fee$1900.00 She tells me all the fees for breaking the lease Janet told me the $1900 was for two months rent which the manager so hard to charge me that I asked for corporate corporate number I called corporate I’ve never got a callback there’s no one to talk to I would not suggest anyone to rent from these apartments since new management have taken over Nothing gets fixed around there they never answer the phone request maintenance takes Awhile to get fixed due to the front office not giving those request out. When the old manager was managing those apartments there were not any problems. This new manager and Janet don’t know what each other is doing there are so many lies coming from Janet in the manager I am very disappointed corporate.Corporate has to know what’s going on and just don’t care I am not going to pay them a single dime because I don’t owe them any money and I am going to go into contact apartment Association. The manager told me the reason why I was getting charged the 1900.00 is because corp don’t believe my laid off letter which was on company letterhead which the manger told me that’s what I needed.

Each team member display professionalism and commitment to meeting the needs of my request, whether it’s a repair in my apartment or something on the grounds. The quality of work is phenomenal. I have lived at Huntington Ridge since 2019. Ms.Deanna Frey has been a positive addition to Huntington Ridge since the first day I met her. She is professional, efficient and friendly. She always listens to your problem or concern. She offers a solution and smiles while offering her services. When I leave the office I feel that my issue is resolved.Another bright spot at Huntington Ridge is the maintenance staff. Mr. David Townsend answers building requests-sometimes within minutes!

My sister was actually the one leasing but the leasing agent ( I’m so bad with names, her hair was in dreads at the time) was extremely kind. She went above and beyond to accommodate my sister during the entire process. My sister did choose not to lease due to no issues related to her experience. I will definitely keep Huntington ridge in mind in the future simply based on their great customer service

Regretfully I will never lease here and either should you . I called before I came to see the apartment that I was interested in leading .When I called the lady on the phone gave me great customer service and had great product knowledge and she set me up for an appointment to view the apartment today at 2:00pm. I showed up at 2:00 pm and I got no answer. I saw they left a sign on the door so I waited . While waiting I went to the property next door DeSoto Ranch to see if they were connected and they weren’t while seeing the floor plans they had i waited for 20 minutes and no one showed. This is poor customer service . I drove 30 minutes away and back . A complete waste of my time . Also a complete waste of their time to schedule a showing at a specific time and have a confirmation sent only for the leasing office to be closed. First impression is everything. Their loss !

I love been a residency at Huntington ridge the staff is nice and courteous and show professionalism at all times. And they treat every residence with respect. And we also have a wonderful maintenance crew thats timely with jobs and getting things taken care of. I been here going on 3 years and I have never had any problems with theft are break- ins and I like that about Huntington Ridge Apartments. I have lived here since January 2017.Ms.Frey has always been accommodating to my concerns which she makes sure get handled right away. Very professional and makes being a resident here a plus.Head maintenance David is very well organized and quick to take care of his residents. Thank you for making sure that the leak in our bathroom was repaired immediately. Didnt expect for him to come out on the weekend but he came with no issue repaired the problem as always with a smile.This team is a team to keep in place as they seem to work well together.Thanks

I have been living here for a minute, and have seen a few changes in management takeovers. However, Victor R. the current manager as of today march 17, 2021 has been a delight thus far since his taking over the manager replacement. He is patient and has ALWAYS displayed concern when I called and needed assistance. He made sure that my issue was taken car of when my apt. flooded. Also, the maintenance team are so very pleasant and has ALWAYS been very helpful! The two maintenance men are a perfect team! Job well done in selecting them to be our maintenance team. Thank you Victor for being so peasant it makes a HUGE difference when you show concern.

She talks about all the residents and her employees as well.She discriminates against prospects if it’s someone that she doesn’t like she will find a way not to let you in the apartments.She makes you very unwelcomed she is not educated at all or does she know how to run a property simply because she is never there.Maintence team is wonderful,the property itself is ghetto and old looking please do not waist your money here.You have been warned

My boyfriend and I were in search for and 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment and these were recommended by a friend of mine. We were greeted immediately by DeAnna property manager. She was very nice and helpful. Felt like I was talking to an old friend of mine. We told her what we were looking for and she immediately offered to  take  us on a tour along with detailed information about each floor plan. The tour of the property was awesome. The apartments are beautiful and the grounds are nicely kept. They are on the more expensive side but you pay for what you get, right. We are going to apply and pray every thing works in our favor. Thank you DeAnna for an awesome experience and making us feel at home. Hopefully this will be home for us soon.

I absolutely love these apartments, I never have any issues with pests, noisy neighbors, bad kids, finding a place to park or dimly lit hallways or management which are issues I’ve had in the past at my past apartment. David the maintenance guy is literally the best most professional person I’ve ever had the pleasure knowing, this guy literally goes out of his way to make sure his tenants are getting the best care and that gives me so much peace of mind. Honestly he is one of the reasons I haven’t moved into a house yet lol. And DeAnna is so polite and personable, she always keeps us in the loop of what’s going on. I love the staff and the apartments are quiet and nice! I recommend these to anyone wanting peace of mind and comfort.

Clear property management took over in February and the property has gone downhill in just a month. They got rid of the manager that actually took care of issues and cared about residents. They sent the head maintenance guy to another property in Ft. Worth, now we have a new guy who is struggling to keep up with getting repairs done. The new manager and assistant manager are clueless. The entire property is covered with trash. There is currently living room furniture blocking the trash cans for over a week now. They are leasing to anyone, standards have gone down hill. We are starting to have issues with crime, we have never had this before. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!

This is by far the worst apartment community I have ever resided at. The management team is so unprofessional, unreliable, rude, and disrespectful. The management company has changed three times this year alone so the office staff is forever changing. The quality of the community has gone down tremendously. The water bill for my two bedroom apartment is $180 - $200 monthly that is more than my mom pays in her three bedroom home. Maintenance does not fix anything ever. I put in a request for my refrigerator to be repaired over a two week ago and it still has failed to be fixed, causing all my food to be spoiled rotten like this office team. When I addressed my food with the manager she told me they would get to my refrigerator in the next few days and that I would need to file a renters insurance claim to replace my food. The controlled access gates are a joke and have not worked for the past 6 months and up until about a month ago were chained together. If you are looking for a nice home please drive right pass this place. Although it may be hard because they are appealing to the eyes you will regret it your entire lease term.

It was a pleasure to live at Huntington Ridge Apartments. It was a pleasant surprise to see a one bedroom unit that had two eating areas and an office area. It is a quiet place to live with well manicured grounds. I can’t say enough good things about David and the maintenance team. Concerns were addressed in a timely manner. Jovonne, the assistant manager, was always a delight to work with. I appreciate her friendly demeanor whenever I saw her. She was quick to respond when I had questions. I appreciate DeAnna as manager in addressing issues with management in getting things taken care in the complex. Living at Huntington Ridge was a wonderful experience.

The manager and Shavon are so unprofessional and petty. They take business issues personal and petty pick at the residents when something happens. They have no remorse or feelings toward anyone. They act like you get on their nerves when you come in the office or call. They are fake and make living here uneasy especially when you have maintenance issues. The apartments are nice, but management sucks! Please drive by and take your money else where. This is the third management company the apartments have had and the worst. Water bill is high high high, you better not be late one time on your rent because they look forward to eviction! Please dont stop at red, keep going!

Since DeAnna began to manage the property, I have nothing but great things to say about her professionalism and spirit of excellence. It takes a mature manager to stand when being blamed for problems we, the residents have created amongst ourselves. Also, thank you DeAnna, for correcting issues in which we were not the cause. David, maintenance supervisor, has also been awesome with his customer service and sense of urgency. His patience is to be commended. If we, the residence use appliance or anything in our apartment, it will break. So thank you David for caring enough to go the extra mile. A thought for the review: Apartment living can be rewarding if everyone takes responsibility for what has been entrusted to them and respect one another.

THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!!! I called the office at least 10 times and no one ever answered. So I drove from my apartment down to the office to check on the status of a work order. I can literally hear the phone ringing from outside the office and I walk in to see the leasing agent playing on her cell phone. She is ignoring calls to play on her cell phone!!!! Seriously, I had to drive from my apartment to the office when she could have just answered the phone!!!! I asked her when they were going to come review the items on my work order and she tells me they already have. Thats funny because I work from home and its kinda hard to unlock my keyless deadbolt from the outside!!!! Seriously!!! You quickly fed me that lie, you dont even know what apartment I stay in!!!

The apartments are great but the leading agent is very unprofessional. It was hard to get someone to answer the phone and twice as hard to get a call back. My husband and I put in out application to rent. We call and finally got an answer and we were told that we were approved and need to transfer our power service and get renters insurance. You would think everything was set up mad all I had to do was pay my deposits. WRONG!!! We get a call back saying oh yea you are denied for the apartment. I then say we were just told that we are approved and need to show you proof of power and insurance. But of course she doesnt not remember saying that. I was told I would get a call back from her supervisor but never received a call. Long story short Im less than 30 days out from my lease back to the apart hunt. To bad it didnt work out.

I currently live here and I hate it. You cant use the Clubhouse because they have no security I was told. The pool was closed more than it was open this summer due to it not being clean. No access to the business center after the leasing office closes, and I requested a garage in June and still nothing. Yes it is true you can never reach management by phone. Can.t wait till my 13 month lease is up. 2/2 paying 1280 so not worth it. Would not recommend.

From the time I called you Javonn was very helpful and sensitive to my needs! After explaining why I was moving she became even MORE helpful in trying to work with me. I changed my mind about the number of bedrooms and she was still attentive to me and my personal needs. She even said claimed the apartment home for me before I even put in my application and said she would not show my apartment to anyone else. As the process began she followed up with me via email cause that is my preference and overall, myself and my son are very pleased with how she addressed each tenant as they entered the office and on the phone!!! Customer service is VERY IMPORTANT to me and she proved that she is for her tenants and the comfort of their living situations. I love my new place and cant wait to settle in it. She d idnt leave one stone unturned and she made sure I understood certain guidelines that could land me with a violation....again overall I am VERY, VERY PLEASED THAT I WAS RECOMMENDED TO THIS COMPLEX!

This has been the worse place to live. Management is never helpful and extremely rude. They do not return calls or respond to emails. I put in a work order December 18th, called on it twice, spoke to DeAnna Frey about it and she advised she would have it taken care of. Today is January 23rd, still no lights in the kitchen, patio blinds not replaced and microwave door handle broken. Ask why the utilities so high, response email customer service. We’ll have someone stop by to complete the request. I was today. This is very unprofessional and inconsistent. I would not recommend anyone living here.

The office team is very rude and weve been harassed more than we can count. And the worse part of it all, they are harassing my daughters. Instead of really finding out whats going on, theyre writing complaints on them for no apparent reason.So the next time they want to harass someone, im going a lawsuit on the entire staff and we will see how they like that.Please dont harass my daughters again. Stay far, far away. I moved into these apartments in July. They are a nice complex but the competency of their staff is horrible. Ive had 2 water bills ranging to 200 in a 2 bedroom apartment. There is no way I can use this much water when Im rarely home and when I ask for explanations, no one has the decency to respond but would rather charge additional fees if I refuse to pay it. My heat does not work and it has taken maintenance several days to address the issue (reported the initial problem on a Saturday and still no heat on Tuesday). On top of that whom ever came into my apartment to I guess check out the problem (I dont know who because if they hadnt changed the thermostat and left screws on my floor, used my toilet and didnt flush and their bottle water on the side of my toilet), didnt bother to leave a note advising of progress or anything else. I definitely will not be renewing my lease here.

The management is very unorganized & unprofessional. I put in an application to move here on a Saturday and they told me I could move in the following Monday . I didnt get my keys until Friday and during that time my only communication was going to the property because they forward ALL calls to a maintence hotline . They also quote you $50 for utilities when you apply and its over $100

Having not lived in an apartment for over 20 years, I have found Huntington Ridge Apartments in DeSoto an easy transition. The management staff & the maintenance staff have made it a truly wonderful experience & have erased all my fears of moving from the joy of the private life in a house to the open-ness of apartment living. I am glad that Huntington Ridge in DeSoto was my 1st re-introduction to apartment living. Ive liked it enough that I have renewed my lease 4 times.
