Update I’ve worked for this place for awhile now Diana in the Des Moines office and the entire LaborMax crew are by far the worst people I’ve dealt with Diana has cheated me out of money and when confronted about it she hangs up if she calls you for a job and it’s not enough money she will yell at you and make you feel bad because the company doesn’t have the money to pay for the things they promise when hired they do not care about their employees at all and if you call them out for lying they’ll fire you for calling them a liar the crew it’s self is a joke if you haven’t worked with the crew before you will be sent home with no notice no gas money no nothing they will also try and take your car and leave you outside for hours with no break don’t work for a company that doesn’t value hard work they reward the lazy old workers future and current employees beware

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My man went there after being contacted by them because they saw his resume on zip recruiter. While Maria was nice while in the office she lacked follow through when it came down to communicating effectively with her applicant. My man had to constantly play phone tag with her and she never returned one of his calls. Hence he is taking his talents elsewhere and I will tell anyone i know looking for a job not to go to labor max as Maria clearly has no communication skills. Furthermore, she asks people when you apply to leave a good review. Sorry but I cant leave a good review for a lady who cant even call someone back ESPECIALLY when she was the one who asked us to come up there anyway. Needless to say my man just took his drug test today for a better company and Labor Max lost out on a great candidate with an impeccable background.

Very unprofessional Donnie the owner of the company put me in a highly racist company (beisser lumber) where I was being called “boy” and when I was fed up an told them how I didn’t like that I was terminated I called looking for employment and Donnie was very rude hung up in my face and treated me with little to no regard i wouldn’t waste anytime persuing employment with this place all they will do is promise call backs and they will barely have anything for you be prepare to be on the availability list
