The owner is very conscientious. Often working along side his staff. He knows me and and appreciates my business. He always gives me air fresheners. He had plenty of clean towels and spray. This car wash is better than the one down the streets

I use this place all the time, but I always just run my card and go in the bay. I never read the stuff advertised, well maybe I should from now on. One of the gentlemen that works there approached my car and let me know that the membership offer they were currently offering was the price of the wash cycle I always choose, and by signing up, I would pay less than I regularly would pay. Also, if I wash my car twice in a month, then the membership will have por for itself. I wash my car at least once a week, so he saved me money in the long run. I didn’t catch his name, but thank you sir.

Never fails one of their lanes are out of order... and I go often. You would think as much as they charge for memberships they would make sure all their things are in working order.

Great place to get a quick car wash at! Knowledgeable staff, and easy to follow directions. They got me set up for a membership for just 15 dollars for the first month! Would recommend to anyone who needs a fast and friendly car wash.

Every time I come through town I try to stop at the Derby location but it seems to never be working. Good thing Club car Wash is a block away now.

I love the Zips car wash in Derby. The staff is so friendly and helpful and my car always comes out clean. The vacuums could use some updating but for being free I can’t complain! The manager here has always been super helpful any time I needed help.

Great value. Upgraded facilities. Raised the membership price a bit but they have improved vacs. Dryer still doesn’t dry as well as it should.

I would not recommend them. Your car will still be dirty when you’re done. Since zips took over they went down hill.

Quick and easy. Vacuums work well and love that there is also a small air gun to get the dust out of crevices in the car!

Cant believe I paid $15 for a car wash that literally did nothing. Tire shine was a joke.

Significant damage. I talked to the young man at the wash. No help. I left messages with the main office. No response. The worker with the high pressure sprayer did this, not the main wash. He was very close to the front end. Ive been paying the monthly club for 2 years, but zero customer service now.

I used the car wash, bought the top package and still have water spots all over my car. Not to mention the entire passenger side of my vehicle was scratched during the wash itself. I thought it was supposed to be soft cloth used inside the car wash! Will not be using this company anymore.

Trash wash pretty much rinse and move along. Vacuums aren’t even powerful enough to get little rocks.

I cant complain about the wash. I can about the customer service. I went through the wash and 75% of the way through, I was slammed into by a vehicle that failed to place their car in neutral and skinny pedal on the right got plenty of attention. After recruiting staff to help with the situation, a manager was called and couldnt have be more rude to a paying customer just involved in an accident that caused a fracture in my vertebrae and chip in my neck bone. After being interrupted, talked over and down too, I couldnt believe the coldness. I had to interrupt to explain I was the one rear-ended, and the response was a defend and deflect approach. I am sure this is the employee and not the company but the experience overall left a bad taste. In 2021 with all the negativity in our society, I thought being a paying (subscription based) member entitled me to some compassion and respect. The situation is bad on its own, and the fact the management didnt have the skills to offer competent customer service is insult to injury. I will refrain from publishing the managers name and I hope this serves as a catalyst for training that helps the next person in a traumatic situation.

Staff is excellent. My car is lowered and the staff always helps out and/or takes extra time to make sure I can get through and not damage my vehicle.

Short of beating my truck mirrors in, the only zips worth going to. Worth the stop!

Whole back end of car never dried. Conveyor pushed way too fast. Attendant at beginning of wash was Super ignorant. Car was loaded with tar after wash. Thanks for nothing. Club Carwash right down the street

Took my car in after it snowed this past weekend and it didnt do a good job getting everything off which is disappointing.Edit: manager on duty made it right by providing coupon for free wash on next visit. Thanks.

All Im saying is if Im paying 30 bucks for a wash and your employees os gonna just spit on my truck for a rinse why come back I spent that money then went and spent more money to finish cleaning my truck havent had an issue till today but come on

It’s irritating when I pull into get my car cleaned after being on the highway and I can’t even talk them into spraying the bugs off before driving through! When I have to drive through a couple times to get the bugs taken care of it’s not how I payed for my membership! Always act mad that they’re there and have to wash cars. Maybe it’s time to try the new car wash in town.

The auto wash works great. Its nice to be able to just pay with your card and go on in.

Ive had monthly subscriptions with Zips in Derby for two cars since they opened. The vacuums work great most of the time. The tag reader at the gate is 75-25 which really irritates me. I just lay on the horn now when it doesnt read correctly until an attendant comes over. They also like to close down when car wash traffic is low. I asked the attendant about it, and he said corporate tells them to close. HELLO, I pay to use the car wash when I want during normal hours, not when its convenient for the company.

Membership is easy to sign up...IMPOSSIBLE to cancel!Calling the business? Keeps you on hold forever.Taking to them in person? Associates are clueless.Emailing? Takes forever for a response.Facebook message? No help.Cancel online or through text? Ha!Customer service? Opposite of accommodating.But then they blame YOU for not canceling in time? Super shady business and altogether horrible experience.

This is the best car wash that I has ever been too! The wash get my car clean every time. The employees are so kind, I saw one employee go out and help a elderly women put cash in the machine because she couldn’t. I have nothing but good experiences at the Derby location, and I love Zips!!!

Great place if you want scratches and swirl marks in your car. i went to use the vacuums and wash my car, couldn’t even use any of the vacuums because they were all clogged and not being cleaning out properly. it also took paint off the side of my car and the store did nothing about it. Horrible service.

Its an OK carwash. Vacuums are free here, the water sometimes smells like nasty fish water. It never fails everytime I purchase the top wash, water spots are always left after drying.

I have continually emailed this organization multiple times to cancel my membership, and have received confirmation that my membership has been canceled, yet they continue to withdraw from my account every month.

Was using zips because I had gotten a month free from work. Loved it so much I bought my 2nd month. The ease of it, the location, the free vacuums and my car being clean all the time is the reason i will go back.

The ability to just drive up and get a wash anytime with the membership its great!

I love the price and the quickness.. But it does an absolutely horrible job on tires/rims if there is any dirt there.. And half the time it doesnt even wash off the soap or leaves dirt on the sides and trunk.. Need some actual water pressure

Love zips but the employees should really refrain from playing on their phones. Sat for 5 minutes before a female employee (who plays on her phone all the time) finally came out and she couldnt even line me up correctly.

Great place. My car is squeaky clean! I bonded with one of the workers named Kyler while setting up my membership! He is a nice young man and he is diabetic. He brightened my outlook on life and I will definitely be back here to cleanse my car and ease my soul. I hope to see kyler again soon!

Staff are friendly and helpful with antennae removal. They however are not familiar with details of the Zippy Reward System...appreciated the free vacuum. A brush on the tip of the nossle would make it more useful so users would spend less time in the vacuum stall. :D

This used to a good car wash. I had to lower star rating, to many parts of the wash do not work. My car exit the was with soap still on the car and the sprayers and blower seem to have stopped working.

I would have done 5 stars but we seem to always have problems with our membership sticker not being recognized. Other than that We like how our car looks after each wash.

It was a great experience. It only missed a few spots but mainly on the windshield.

Found out this is changing to a Zips very soon. The monthly rates are reasonable and are decreasing when it changes to Zips. Friendly and helpful service. Does a great job washing all of our vehicles small and large. Vacuums work great, but I did find one that was clogged and they fixed it before I left.

This place has so much potential with zips car wash merger. I felt fluke the place was a little bit confined and the vacuums were very slow. The washing equipment seemed brand new and staff was nice.

This is a great car wash. The staff here are nice have a clean appearance and even offer suckers when they see kids in the vehicles. Car comes out clean every time.

Not really sure the point of the bug spray if you are not spraying the windshield. I went to the one at maple and west and the one in derby.

They didnt get my car clean the first time but they let me run my car through again on them since I wasnt satisfied. I love that they have free vacuums as well. No more toting quarters

No pre wash even if you pay for it, tire wet rarely works. I would imagine the soaps and waxes are the same. My truck doesnt bead up when rained on.

These guys are close proximity to our business in Derby so we use them on almost a daily basis. A good wash that is convenient and right next door to QT. Easy access off of Rock Road and prices are comparable to others in town. Complimentary vacuums are available for use as well. 👍

Just washed my wifes truck at Zips. When I got home I noticed the entire back of the truck was still dirty. I wont be going back there again.I was contacted by Zips the next day and they made it right. I will check before leaving in the future and was told if I wasnt satisfied they would make it right at that time.

Free Vacuum. No purchase necessary. Im pleased with this car wash. It may seem busy, but it never takes me very long to get through it.

I have washed my car there two days in a row on the Super Shine wash and still have dirt on the back and spots everywhere. I guess I can’t upload the photos here but they are on Yelp. I’m thoroughly unimpressed since Zips bought out Trax.

It was ok. I paid for the top monthly wash package but never have any idea if thats the wah level that I am getting. Seems like everyone gets the same wash level so why should I pay more?? Also, Derby location had at least one non-working vacuum

I would question the blue cleaning rotating brushes, after I got my blk car washed I noticed all bunch of scratch marks, before you bash me, I just bought the car and went there for a fist wash after having it for a week. I will not be going to any carwash.

This is a super fast carwash. It does ok. If they slowed the wash down I might give it 4 stars.

Went to go get a car wash and saw a petite little worker. His name was Kyler Hamed and he was very cute and polite. He reminded me of James Charles a little bit, but overall a good guy. Fast carwash and I even got to see Kyler bend over in front of my car and it turned me on. 10/10 recommend!

This was the best zips I have been to! Before the carwash a attendant sprayed the grill and any buggy areas. Then the carwash speen was slower and it really cleaned the car well. The vacuums had great suction.

Love the free vacuums unfortantely one of the brushes made a scratch in my car pretty minor though

I’ve used Zips car wash in Derby exclusively for a couple of years. The car wash club has saved me $$ as I have unlimited car washes per month now for what I used to pay for two per month.

No pre scrub available anymore . Wash does NOT remove stuck on bugs, etc. I don’t mind scrubbing bugs myself when I have that option.

Just went thru and only one attendant was work with a a nice line behind us...he took an extra minute or two with our sux to make sure all the bird poop was off the front. thank you !
