Our commercial building had a lightening/electrical strike and damaged our 20 ton AC unit. No one could find us a new unit before the end of September. Imagining going all of August and September with no AC in Kansas and working inside near 100 degree temps is less than thrilling. Dale and the team at MJB called around and saved the day. They had us a new unit 5 weeks earlier than other could promise and I now have happy employees. The unit is amazingly quiet, super cold and so much more energy efficient. We recently had Dale and his crew from MJB design and install 2 unit and all the venting in our custom barndominium we built. I called on a Sunday afternoon and left a message because my air conditioner had quit. Within five minutes the technician, Church Pruitt, called me up and diagnosed the problem over the phone! He definitely knows his stuff. He was at my house within about 30 minutes. He didn’t have the exact factory part he needed but he had it working pretty quickly by using generic parts. He came back on Monday morning at 8:30 AM with the exact factory part and had it installed and working within about five minutes! He was a super nice guy and VERY knowledgeable. The price was fair, especially since I called on a Sunday afternoon! I will definitely call MJB Heating and Cooling again if I ever have a problem.

Called on Friday afternoon and was able to get an air conditioner cleaning and check scheduled for first thing Monday morning. Technician arrived towards the beginning of the promised arrival time and was quick, thorough, friendly, and informative. Very pleased.The office was also quick to respond to emails, usually responding in a matter of minutes rather than in a matter of days as some other companies. That helped make my choice much easier.

Their people were prompt, professional and did a high quality install.In January of 2019 I had a house fire that resulted in the entire system needing to be replaced again. I insisted that my insurance company use MJB do the fire replacement work. Our AC quit working and it got up to 81 in the house. we have a newborn and were very hot! The guy came out the same night and fixed it! So thankful for the prompt and reliable service!!

My story is a long one but Ill get to the point. After being treated rudely, and my AC being misdiagnosed (with a very large charge) by a local company, I decided to find another company. Looking through the phone I was at my wits end. I prayed that I would find a reputable repair place. I saw MJB and called them. Ive been very impressed with the owner and his sense of customer service! Definitely a missing element in todays society! They came to my house and finally got the AC running after being almost a week in the heat. They went over and above what other companies would have done. I decided since my system was 25 years old it was time to get a new one. The installers just left and my house is nice and cool! The installers were efficient, friendly and cleaned after the install. My furnace started cutting in and cutting out which was reducing the heat in my house (winter). I called MJB at 8:30 am and they were on-site by about 9:30 am. They were very punctual, took the time to listen to my concerns, showed me the issues with my furnace and had all items cleaned, serviced and repaired by 11:00 am. Fantastic response time and the technician, Church, was very polite and professional.

So I have a home that was built in the 1970s and I have solar heating panels on my house. I looked for about 2 weeks online trying to get information on them or if anyone knew how to work on them (my interior display panel wasn’t showing any readings for the equipment) Dale came out to take a look and see how he could help me (turns out he’s the only one within a hundred miles that knows anything about the panels). He was able to educate me on not only how the system works but also what repairs needed to be done to get the panels and the display up and running properly. His passion for his craft was very apparent. He and his crew I recommend to everyone! They are always willing to answer questions and explain every detail on what needs to be done. I also like they give options in varying degrees on what my home needs. Outstanding company!

Reasonable on service inspections

I called and within 10 minutes someone was here to look at my heater on a frigid day. Not only that but they also found a pipe that was not up to code on my hot water tank. The attention to details and the personal service by Dale and his team has won my loyalty to this company.
