AIV consistently lies (through misinformation and omission) to Residents when they take over communities. Then, when forcing Residents to leave their homes after being there for years & years, they do so with unrealistic timelines to responsibly vacate and inadequate offers of financial assistance to find comparable residence. These actions may be profitable but they are also terrible and inhumane.

Are you kidding? Im currently sharing my negative experience with everyone. I lived at Meadow Creek in Gunbarrell for two years, the manager Louise is rude and lazy...office is never open, any issues are ignored or responded with arrogant discrimination to senior citizens. This is my personal experience of a horriable team obviously supported by the managrment company so NO I have absolutely nothing positive to share about the rental experience. Advice to others.....AVOID any property managed by Aimco as they to date have failed to provide me with anything but frustration in my attempts to do whats right.

Aimco is a great company to work for. Aimco is awesome with residents and takes good care of employees. I worked at the left bank apartments in Philadelphia,pa I loved working there everyone was so kind and friendly.Never a dull moment in the left bank. If I could return I would have in a heartbeat. Miss Aimco family. Rich Darby and Jeff astilero are the best to work for.

Too expenceive, not that great. Apts. Are old n not in that good of shape.No remodels here. BUT the rent is as high as a bigger remodel in alot better location. The lease was very long and of course, you cant do much of anything without being writen up,As one of the renters told us.He said he has 2 more months on his lease n cant wait to move.

I live in royal Crest apartments and the management here is awful . The head office manager named Anne is 100% rude and disrespectful ! She attempted to steal my mail I have her on camera from Luxor and iv been trying to contact AIMCO CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS FoR days and no one answers the phone ! Anne came to my apartment and cursed at me and yelled at me infront of my apartment ! And she should not be working in the office ! At all ! She treats her tenants like garbage !

I have been renting from Aimco in Maryland for several years now under the most frustrating of experiences. I have wasted plenty of time reaching out to a variety of people in the company for help. We currently are living in poor conditions and have a Manager that is extremely rude to the people who live here. It is clear that this company has absolutely NO respect from anyone who decides to live in one of their properties.My advice - avoid living in any of their properties!

The worst renting experience of my life. AIMCO is a greedy, horrible, scammy company. They kept most of my security deposit by claiming things that arent true. Ive always received my entire security deposit back in the past but this time I have to waste my time and fight with them. Stay away from AIMCO!

One of the worst living experiences ever. Negligent leasing agents a property manager at bay parc plaza Miami Patrick who nobody ever sees and doesn’t have the skills to follow up. Flamingo in Miami Beach they stick 8 people in a unit and it’s airbnb central. Parties 24:7 if you have a job and like sleep stay away from both locations. The company in a whole is negligence all around. They lose 60 day lease non renewal notices and won’t take the blame. Don’t count on the two week move in special. You have to call the office daily to follow up if they even answer or if anyone is even in the lobbies since most locations have no officesJoe Fischer was the only positive thing that’s why I give one star when aimco is a -zero star living experience

AIMCO is a greedy, corporate, and inconsiderate company. I’ve been a resident at Plantation Gardens in Plantation, FL for almost three years, paying 1600 dollars a month with no issues in payment. I made a payment this month, on the third, and apparently accidentally scheduled it to be removed from my bank account on the 6th through pure error. Apparently there is a calendar that you can use to screw yourself over and ultimately get charged a 150 dollar late fee if your money isn’t in their hands when they want it. I’ve never even noticed this calendar and I definitely made no adjustments to it purposefully. I had to call AIMCO corporate to attempt to get this resolved and get the fee removed from my account. They told me that even though the payment was scheduled on the 3rd and confirmed on the 5th, I had requested the money be removed from my account on the 6th so I had to pay the fee due to fair housing laws, and that it was a valid late fee. I said so you treat every resident as equally unfair? And the representative said there was nothing they could do. I told her we’ve been residents for almost three years and pay 1600 dollars a month, and they’re charging me a 150 dollar late fee over a difference of 48 hours and she insisted that it was a valid late fee and there was nothing they could do. This is nothing but pure greed considering I’ve lived many places and arbitrary fee amounts are not something dictated by law. What a greedy, selfish company. They are losing thousands of dollars of business from me over a $150 fee because there is no way I’m going to renew my lease again.

Living at Creekside Apartments has been so awful. If you are desperate, that should be the only reason you should live at an Aimco property. The price I pay for the quality of my apartment isnt worth it. Avoid living at Creekside Apartments at all costs.

This is by far the most evil company on the face of the earth. They lie, they are greedy and they could care less about their tenants.

Worked for 25 years for Aimco before quitting in 2014 due to the unscrupulous top management that is now in place. Money is there ONLY concern.
