I have been to a few spaces and this is by far my favorite. Everyone is friendly, but also motivated and actually getting work done. Good amount of space for hot seats (day seats) at a fair price. Two full kitchens, snacks, drinks etc. Every Thursday Emily, who works at the front desk, swings on by with a drink cart! Overall very positive experience and highly recommended.

My company rented space in Modworks for about three years and we really enjoyed our time there. It’s a great value. They offer a clean, modern space in a great location at one of the best rates in Denver. My favorite thing about them is their flexibility. They are willing to work with you and your business to meet your needs for a reasonable price. Flexible on conference room time. They aren’t trying to nickel and dime you and don’t have overly stringent corporate policies. The folks that run the place, John and Emily, are courteous, responsive, and fun. You can’t go wrong with Modworks.

Modworks is amazing! Our company has been in the space for over four years now and we have never once had a problem. The staff is incredible, the space is bright, there are gorgeous mountain views, and the location is super convenient.They have drink carts on Thursdays, happy hours were you can socialize with everyone, and dogs are allowed. The conference rooms have tv screens and whiteboards and it is easy to schedule them so there are no booking conflicts.We love Modworks!

Jon and Emily are a dream to work around! They were so accommodating whenever people at my company needed anything. I love that they allowed me to bring my pup to work so that I didnt feel bad about leaving her at home all day. I love the phone booths that they have so that I can conduct calls without any interruption. They even have a nap room. This is an excellent coworking space filled with friendly people!

I’ve had nothing but incredibly positive experiences at Modworks. As a remote worker, it is important for me to have a professional atmosphere I can work from outside of my home. The staff at Modworks are all professional, helpful, and proactive. I appreciate that the space isn’t your typical trendy, loud, bullpen atmosphere that you see in a lot of co-working locations. Modworks has been a great office space for our growing company. Modworks owner John Borst and manager Emily Perrigo (seen here with the usual Thursday afternoon cocktails/ice cream cart) are incredibly helpful and pleasant to work with. They have several conference rooms -- some with spectacular views of the Front Range), as well as quiet places to duck into for phone conversations. The space is very bright and clean, the kitchens are terrific, and the 14th floor terrace is a treasure. Bonus points for the occasional appearances by Charlie, the best office dog ever. I highly recommend Modworks as a place to do business.

Even net of a monthly parking pass downtown, the office rent is less than the competitors.* Just-right level of community. At other places, community really means we have a side hustle hosting super disruptive events in our space and dont care if that impacts our members. Members at Modworks are friendly, nice and engaging, but the focus is on getting work done. In over two years here, only once was there an event the had a (tiny) impact on me.* Conference rooms and phone booths are actually available.* Location is fantastic. Transit- and bike-friendly. Loads of lunch spots.* John and Emily are incredibly flexible and accommodating. Suffice it to say, this is NOT the case at some of my other ex-coworking places where customers were treated with a mixture of neglect and/or mild contempt. Its a nice space. Clean, quiet, and very chill. Month to month agreements are good. A great place to go and get work done, versus being seen doing work. I chose this space above others, because they have a lot of different places you can have a hot seat. I stopped going because I found myself working from home more than going in, and they went above and beyond to make the transition seamless.

My team spent about a year at ModWorks and we loved it! We only left because COVID forced our company to be a little more conservative with spending and bring us back to the home office. The space is clean, quiet and they work with you to set up your office exactly as you need it. They provide daily snacks, weekly bar carts and office parties/happy hours so that everyone can get to know each other. The location is great, so many restaurants/bars/coffee options and the view from the 14th floor deck is amazing! Highly recommend - you will love working with John and Emily!

Modworks is the perfect solution to working remote. It has an extremely productive atmosphere, yet is also a great way to meet people in a new city. Weve been officing at Modworks for almost two years now and could not recommend it more highly. The space is lovely and well equipped with all of the things a start-up needs to be productive, but cannot afford on its own. I especially appreciate the multiple and different sized conference rooms, equipped with high-quality technology, that are available for our use. There is a stable core group of tenants, which makes it feel more like a real office and also has allowed me to meet new, interesting business folks not in my field. The management is engaged and friendly. And did I mention the stellar views from these 13th and 14th floor spaces? Its a great place and a great value.

This place is unbeatable! I am in medical school and I have been coming to Modworks for the last 3 years. I am so much more productive studying here vs the library/school. I love the energy of the space - everyone is so sweet and fun! I also really enjoy meeting other creative, young professionals who work here. The environment is upscale and modern, yet very comfortable. The location is also incredible. Best co-working in town. I looked at every single co-working space in Denver before I picked Modworks. So much light (13th floor in downtown anyone?) and space. Everything else I saw was over-crowded. Modworks is bright, cheerful and thoroughly modern. The space is beautifully laid out, no jamming hundreds of people into a tiny little room. The owners are incredibly on top of things. They are smart, quick to respond to any problems. Its perfect for my small business of 1.5, and the connections I have made with other companies have been priceless.

Modworks is awesome! I love the high quality modern furniture, productive atmosphere and the fact that everything is included. I looked at a ton of coworking spaces but the first time I saw Modworks, I knew this was the perfect place for my business headquarters.

It is a good idea to rent a space, but most people do not follows the rules. I got a refund and so the owners are accomodating. Here is my experience: too loud for my taste, people walk around with cell phones and loud conversations. I was under the impression that a quiet zone is universally maintained for everyone. For the extra money, I rented a bigger appartment and I am very happy working from home.

Ive been working at Modworks for about 5 months, and I kick myself every day for not joining sooner. Like many freelancers in Denver, I started working out of my apartment when I first moved to town. Cabin fever soon set in, so I started working out of coffee shops instead. While I enjoyed the atmosphere, coffee shops brought their own set of problems: lousy, unreliable internet; increasing lack of electrical outlets; trouble finding a seat on busy days; noise level when needing to Skype with clients; etc. Although I had heard of co-working spots, I generally thought they were A) a waste of money (why pay a monthly fee when I can work at a coffee shop for free?); and B) bastions of tech bro culture. But my opinion did a complete 180 once I found Modworks. Heres why:1). Incredibly fast and super reliable wifi, large personal desks with their own dedicated power outlets, and private booths for Skyping or taking calls. Also, free and unlimited use of conference rooms (great for when you need to give a presentation to or meet with clients).2). Synergy. Since Modworks is thematically neutral--i.e. does not solely cater to tech startups like, say, Galvanize--there is a wide spectrum of companies and people to interact with. For example: there is a law firm, several advertisement people, graphic designers, and a CPA. Having all of these people together under one roof made scaling my business much easier.3). Price. A basic monthly membership is $195/month. While that might seem like a lot, its actually less than what I spent on coffee/food/drinks while working at coffee shops. Modworks also offers free coffee and snacks, and has a kitchenette area so I can bring my own breakfast/lunch/dinner. I actually spend less working at Modworks than I did when I was working supposedly for free at coffee shops.4) Environment. Bright, modern, clean and very quite.Overall, this is a great place for getting serious work done and I strongly recommend giving Modworks a try.P.S. While perhaps a little unconventional, I strongly recommend Modworks to graduate students that are either studying for comps/quals. or writing their thesis. I really wish I had a place like this back when I was in graduate school.
