A smaller shop and a wait may be necessary but it is worth it. This is much better than the other place down the road where it’s much easier to get in! Friendly, meticulous, very good job and very professional. This will be our go to from now on

I went to Upscale Nails for a dip manicure (a $45 cost), which usually lasts about 3 weeks without chips. After two days, my nails were chipped and the top coat was unusually peeling. If you want a regular manicure/pedicure, go here. If you want a dip or gel manicure, I would beware because their dip and gel products are not of quality.

Finally found a place that does qualty work. The staff are fun and friendly. So glad I found them. They are a very experienced group who can do complex nail designs. They are VERY reasonably priced. You wont be disappointed.

We had 20 people for my friend’s bachelorette party here and we totally enjoyed the services. Everyone here was friendly and professional. They were able to accommodate all of the girls for multiple services and they did wonderful jobs for all of us. They also let us bring drinks, foods and hang out together. We all were so relaxed and loved our services. I would definitely recommend trying them out!

Ive attempted to come here on 3 separate occasions. Every time I have tried to get a rebase done here, they turn me away saying they are too busy to get to me today and I should go somewhere else. They close at 7 pm, it is 4pm. No one was waiting, and two manicures were nearly complete. Never going to bother coming here again. Snappy nails in University Hills has never turned me away-- sure, I may need to wait for a nail tech to be available when they are busy, but it is absurd that Upscale Nails wont even allow me to wait. If I could give zero stars I would.

The people who just had their natural nails painted and decals drawn on them looked nice and people looked like they were enjoying their pedicures.I had to go home and fix/reshape my own nails and repolish them, the acrylic was so thick and shaped wide they looked like spoons.

Horrible I mean HORRIBLE job!!! They did NOT do the design I wanted. I wanted the Olympic Rings for the olympics coming up and they said my nails were to small . They even put ACRYLIC PAINT on my nails. I think this part is the worst... they did NOT have nail dryers. They had to BLOW on my nails. Overall, this is a horrible nail place!

Took my daughter, a visitor from Texas, and my self....first one ever and just got back from burning man 2014. LOVED IT!!! Tranh was awesome, poor thing had to bust out the Makita just to grind the dead skin off my heals. Needless to say, my hands and feet went in as though I had crossed the Sahara on all fours...and walked out rejuvenated.CHEERS for a job well done, especially my first. I am sold...all men should do this.

I accidently found Upscale Nails when I needed to get my nails done during lunch. The first time was the typical nail salon experience, but it was near work, so whatever. The second time, it had changed ownership, October 2014 I think, and the change was GREAT! Fong, the manager, was friendly from the beginning, and I have been going there off and on for two years (I live north and sometimes go to a salon close to home) Fong knows all of the regulars and greets them by name when they walk in. My nails are very weak, and she suggests things to make them stronger instead of just going through the motions. I want to offset any reviews from primadonnas that walk in, can see everyone is busy, and are mad because they cant be helped immediately. Make an appointment, youre not the center of the universe! And if you dont like the color YOU selected, deal with it; its only for a couple of weeks! Customers are so demanding in the beauty service industry, and I feel for nail techs and hair designers who have to deal with them. Good job, Upscale Nail ladies, and keep up the good work!

Been here a couple times, the 1st time was great. Its kinda hit or miss depending on who you get. I typically go in for shellac. They have a wide selection of colors but sometimes they rush you to pick. The last time I went made me not want to return. I had to leqve for a trip the next day and I was in the middle of moving however I set aside some time to get my nails done. I went in and there was only 1 customer in and there were 4 women available. They must have set me up with someone new. I wanted two colors 1 accent nail. The language barrier was so bad she didnt understand what i was saying i kept repeating the #colors I wantwd and another woman had to explain what i wanted. I had kind of a time crunch and was planning on getting in and out. It took over an HOUR!! I have tiny hands and once in a while my lady had to ask the other employees questions as if she messed up. I understand people have to learn but it would have been nice if they asked if I was ok with wasting an hour. During my hour a woman came to get a mani pedi and she had 2 women working on her and she was done before i was. My nails didnt come out bad but not the best. Probably wont be back for a while.
