Katie is the best!! She is quick, precise, and will always make sure you’re 100% satisfied. And she is super sweet and always fun to talk to. I visit this location about once a month and every now and again I have to see a different waxer if Katie is booked and I just can’t wait….it happens (ladies, you know what I mean!) But even if it’s been a couple months since I last saw her, she always remembers me and all the things we’ve talked about in the past (she asks me how my dogs are doing, how I’m doing after a recent surgery I had, and it’s like chatting and catching up with a good friend.)

I will admit my first time here wasnt completely to my liking. I told the wax specialist I had that I was happy with the job she did and that I would be back for her. Unfortunately I did not realize the easy hairs she missed in obvious places. I didnt know if I was going to come back but decided I wasnt going to let one specialist change how I felt about this center.I looked at the reviews before placing my second appointment, I decided to book with a specialist that people wrote kindly towards. In this appointment I fell a LOT better with this center and with the outcome I received. The knowledge of my waxer was informative and she was quite friendly. The reviews said she took the time to take out every hair possible and I can agree with that as she took the time to take everything off as I requested even though I was a few minutes late to the service. I WILL be back for Haley, thank you for being so understanding, friendly, talkative, and professional.

I typically always have positive experiences with wonderful customer service. Today I was running late, and I wanted to give a heads up and apologize. I called and Sarah answered the phone. She wasn’t very understanding- which I realize showing up late isn’t ideal, and she simply stated if I didn’t arrive within their 9 minute grace period, I would miss my appointment. I luckily make it within the 9 minute window. The unfriendliness persisted with Sarah at the front desk, and didn’t end until I checked out and left the tip. Put a very sour taste in my mouth and lacked the typical warm and friendliness European wax always extends.The actual service= excellent but the rudeness at the front desk makes me not want to come back to this location.

Gotta say... As a curly haired black woman I was trepidatious about booking an appointment here. That said I really enjoyed my experience my waxer was kind, quick, and thorough. The customer service at the front desk were also friendly and informative. They even gave me a substantial first timer discount that I didn’t know existed. Also the hours cannot be beat for a last minute wax on a Sunday. Though I’m just visiting Colorado I would definitely visit again.

After arriving within the designated time zone the assistant lied about the timing and wouldn’t take me. Maybe she was just having a bad day or just wanted to get out for the holiday but it was completely unacceptable. Not only was she terribly unhelpful but incredibly rude. I’ve been a loyal EWC client for years and have spent way too much to be treated with such disrespectful behavior... easy way to lose a once loyal client “

I dont usually review, but the front desk or appointment hotline in general for this place needs to get it together. For the second time they have booked my appointment incorrectly. It is one thing to book it incorrectly and be apologetic about it. But its completely another thing when the ladies at the front never apologize, offer any discount for my inconvenience, nothing. A simple, oh Im so sorry would do worlds for my frustration. I would absolutely not come here anymore if I didnt appreciate so much the individual who I book with. Katie is amazing, and she is definitely saving your location from losing a monthly customer. I highly recommend the front desk get it together. Until then, I gotta give it a 3. If you do go here, ask for Katie, shes the best and deserves a 5.

Ive been seeing Johana at this location for almost 2 years. Im loyal as ever. The entire staff is so kind and organized, and always on time. Since the re-opening in the spring with the new covid restrictions, I feel safe every time I visit. Theyre taking extra measures to keep the place clean and keep guests feeling safe.

Ive been a customer of European Wax Center since around 2017, so I am used to a certain why you all have done things. One of the thing that I have loved is the woman that is waxing me greets me by my name. I have never once not be greeted by my name, until Karissa at the 2nd Ave shop in Cherry Creek. Karissa has greeted one time by name and that was because I checked in with her to make sure she knew what may name is. I have heard her greet other clients by their first name, but never me. My last appointment on January 13th, I informed the front desk young lady about Karissa and what I had been experiencing. I let her know I would not be using Karissa services again. My experience with her has made me very sadden since now I have to find another person who will do a good job like people before have done at EWC. Thank you.

So Ive never gone to a European wax center before, but my experience today (06/29/2018) was AMAZING. I was doing research on waxing locations near me the night before and came across the European Wax Center. Of course I spent a while looking through the reviews and I came across a young lady named Clea. There were plenty of great reviews, however hers stood out to me personally more than the others. From entering the building to leaving, my experience was GRAND! The customer service is A1. 💯. Clea is so personable and she instantly makes you feel like youve been knowing each other for years which makes the experience way more enjoyable and a lot less awkward (I got the Brazilian wax). Im definitely going to be a returning customer. Shes a beautiful young woman from the inside out. Thank you so much doll!! 🤗😘As far as price goes it is more on the expensive side, however I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. The service was definitely worth it!!!

First, some key words since no one reads these all the way...KIND, CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL, ACCOMMODATING, EXCELLENT SERVICE...I was a first timer for a Brazilian wax yesterday. I mentioned this so the woman gave me a highly sought after tech, her name is CLEA and she is amazing, you will see many reviews about her for good reason...anyways, I arrived early which I was thanked for, checked in and had nice casual conversation with the front desk. I was then taken to my room where she made me feel comfortable and not at all exposed or uncomfortable. She new exactly how to chat and let me know what to expect.If you are a first timer understand that there is some pain (obviously, they are ripping hairs out...) but its so quick its nothing you cant handle. She even made sure I knew how to take care of everything after to minimize ingrown hairs and I made my next appointment.I went to bed and was really red, it felt like a mild sunburn, woke up, red gone, and mild sunburn feeling today, I even worked out this morning and showered with no irritation.I recommend getting the ingrown hair wipes for evening and night right after for a few days at least, it stings but only for a minute.Its safe to say, they earned those five stars!

This was my first time and I ended up feeling as though I should have been doing this from the start! Didi is my absolute favorite! Couldnt have asked.for a better professional. Aside from the actual appointment (the yikes part lol), I do enjoy as well as look forward to her great energy and our chats. I can be a bit on the conservative/shy side in regards to any lady bits, particularly my first time feeling as though I had absolutely ZERO idea as to what I was walking myself into other than a panic attack 😂 however, she always made me feel 100% comfortable, did an amazing job, and was speedy to get me in and out 😊🙌

I love going this place, as much as you can love being waxed. I have sensitive skin and usually have avoided facial waxing in general because my skin reacts horribly with bumps and ingrown hairs. I’m glad I gave EWC a chance. The receptionists are always so kind. When I called to make my first appointment they asked if I had sensitive skin and informed my waxer so that they could select products to suit my skin. I’ve been going to Johana for several months now and she is hilarious, kind, and informative. It’s always quick and my skin and I are so happy with the result every time.

This is my first negative and was by far my worst experience at this location. So bad that I actually felt I had to write one of these little reviews. I was waxed by a very young red headed girl. Whos name I will not mention for sake of her job. When we entered her room she reeked of alcohol. Now I understand if it was 6 AM on a Saturday morning. But it was well after 1PM on a weekday. At first I didnt want to say anything. But when leaned over me its as if it was coming out of her pours. I understand she is young and has not reached full maturation. But all of my past experiences have been one of a professional environment. If this location would rather hire for looks based over responsibility and professionalism. Then I unfortunately will not be returning and do not recommend this location for any other adult female or male looking for a professional environment to be waxed in.

Cherry Creek location is the best. All estheticians that work there are kind and not snobby which is common in this area of town. The front desk is constantly busy so I suggest booking an appointment online.

I have been here several times and always had good service. They do a good job here, their process is less painful and has a faster heal time than other types of waxing. But after my trip today I have a new favorite waxer, Lanette. She worked quickly and efficiently, was professional and did a great job, exactly what I asked for.

The estheticians here are good to great. Overall I have had good experiences. Just every once in a while they are not as thorough as I would like.

Im 100% going back. I’ve had a few unpleasant experiences elsewhere, but this was by far the best I’ve had! First of all, front desk staff was super friendly. Answered my questions and made me feel welcomed there. I’ve been to places where front desk staff make you feel like a burden just for coming in. My waxer walked me through the whole process, and was she very fast. Ive always gotten really bad ingrowns when I shave, but she talked to me through how to get rid of them with different of products they had. She wasn’t pushy or too sales-y about it either, which was refreshing. She was genuinely listening to my concerns and helping me. They also gave me my first wax discounted since it was my first time! All in all, my experience here was amazing!

Erica G is absolutely the best. Shes attentive, thorough, and always does an amazing job. She is the only person I want to touch my eyebrows, ever! I often plan my trips to Denver around my waxing appointments with her. Plus shes super sweet and makes you feel very comfortable.

I spent so much money going to differnt places to find someone who could shape my eyebrows exactly what I wanted. If you need someone who knows what they are doing and are amazing at what they do Clea N is your girl. My eyebrows have always been a challenge because they naturally grow downwards and clea was able to give me a eyebrow shape that no other eyebrow tech has ever done for me before. My waxers have always been good, but unfortunately the booking system has led to customer service nightmares. Ive had repeated problems with incorrect appointments and or arriving to find theyve lost my appointment entirely. I was told not to use the online system because my account is somehow corrupt. So I call to book and received an e-mail confirmation for the wrong services. When I called to correct it they couldnt produce a corrected e-mail confirmation and told me I should book online to prevent errors.Ive given management ample opportunities to fix the problems, but no progress.

Ive gone to 3 EWCs in Denver and this franchise consistently delivers the best waxes (leaves the least amount of hair behind). Love them. Would never ever go back to the usual wax or sugar waxing.

I was very nervous before I came in today. That all changed as soon as I walked into the room. Jennifer helped me feel very comfortable and talked to me step by step. My Brazilian wax only took about 10 to 15 minutes. They also educate you about all the important steps on aftercare.

FULL REVIEW ON YELP. My experience with EWC was one of the most horrible and humiliating to date. EWC is fully responsible for me not being able to get a wax for my wedding day. So heres what happened: I have gotten bikini waxes before, but this was supposed to be my first full Brazilian and it had been awhile (few years) since the last, so when I made my appointment, I indicated it was my first time. I figured that was appropriate because again, it was my first Brazilian and my first time at EWC. I was nervous but hopeful that they would take good care of me. I arrive a couple minutes early. The receptionist is snooty and doesnt cultivate a welcoming atmosphere AT ALL. I felt uncomfortable as soon as I walked in, which is not how you want to feel when youre about to get a Brazilian. As she begins to check me in, she asks me if I am using Retin-A. I was caught off guard by this question, and quickly answered yes without thinking. Ive had a long journey with acne and have been on a variety of topical cremes over the years. I knew that Retin-A l had been on my list at some point. I had never been asked that question at a waxing before, so I didnt know how to respond. After I say yes (which was actually more of an um I think maybe), the receptionist immediately goes Then we wont wax you. She seemed elated to have one less person to deal with. She then goes into this condescending spiel about how it is against company policy to wax if a customer is on these medications because it can rip your skin off (used those exact words), and next thing you know Im getting a biology lesson right there at the front desk. At this point there are several customers waiting, and she is NOT speaking quietly. So Im just standing here taking it and am completely humiliated. I was already feeling vulnerable being there for a Brazilian, and after she made me feel like an idiot, I didnt know what to do with myself. So I walked out, almost in tears. I begin to try and process what had just happened. In my head Im thinking there is no way that what Im using for my acne was as harsh as she was describing, it doesnt even require a prescription. Luckily I have a personal relationship with my doctor, so I give her a call and ask her what exactly it is that Im on. She quickly informs me that I am NOT on Retin-A and hadnt been for about two years. (I now use adapalene), an OTC medication. Quickly realizing my mistake about the Retin-A, I run back into EWC. Only about ten minutes had passed between the receptionists rude behavior and my conversation with my doctor. I was feeling a lot better about the situation knowing I had simply misspoke. Well, I get back in and explain to the receptionist what had happened and let her know I had gotten ahold of my doctor. I had misspoke and that I was definitely NOT on Retin-A, and she tells me sorry, you told me you were, so we cant wax you. Im not allowed to make a mistake? I dont write down and commit the names of every product in my skincare regimen to memory. Regardless, she was completely rude and unapologetic and refused to let me be seen. I told her I would be happy to provide a written statement indicating that I am not taking Retin-A. At this point she gets one of the technicians involved. This woman was just as rude as the receptionist. She begins her own condescending spiel about the dangers of Retin-A. Great. Im not on Retin-A, lets move on. Once again I find myself explaining my small mistake, and am told I will need a doctors note to be seen at EWC. There is nothing in their company policy requiring that I need a doctors note to get a wax. I MISSPOKE FOR GOODNESS SAKE. I know they dont require a doctors note for most customers and it was horribly unfair for them to ask me for one. At this point I am angry. They finally tell me ‘Because you are now past your appointment time, we cannot see you right now. I storm out in tears. I now have to SHAVE for my wedding night thanks to EWC.

Im traumatized by the pain but satisfied with the service. My technician talked me through it and kept me breathing so I appreciate that. I wish there were smaller, cheaper bottles of lotion and wash instead of having to break mad bread on the huge expensive bottles. I didnt want to have to spend as much on a bottle of lotion as I spent on my wax service. So, besides being mentally scarred from a first time Brazilian wax, I did like the experience at this location.

During this difficult time of COVID-19, I requested a refund on my Wax Pass (where you pay ahead for waxes to receive a discount) due to the financial strain of the current times. I have contacted them several times and I have received no response. It seems that I would get some sense of understanding and response so as to retain me as a customer (I have been a loyal customer for almost 4 years) once things recover. This is absolute corporate irresponsibility! If I could rate them with a below zero star, I would. This is absolutely reprehensible!Contrary to the owner’s response, I only got a call after this review was published. Furthermore, this policy was not disclosed by employees-otherwise I would have not bought a pass.

Wow! I can honestly say I have NEVER had anywhere near as positive a waxing experience as I did yesterday at the European Wax Center in Cherry Creek. For anyone else whos had to suffer at the hands of a manicurist moonlighting as a waxing professional, had their clothes ruined by someone putting messy sticks or waxing strips on them, or had their skin ripped off by incompetent waxers, EWC is the answer to all your waxing prayers. The place is clean, gorgeous, comfortable and discreet. I walked in and was seen two minutes later. The process was thorough, professional and comfortable I cant believe Im saying this, but Im actually looking forward to my next experience there!

To be fair, my experience with the waxers themselves is 100% glowing. This complaint is not about them. While Ive been a loyal customer for years and wouldnt complain about the company overall or any of the waxers, I somehow managed to get tangled up in one employee checking me out under the wrong name and giving me the wrong package info, which led to a confusion the next time I came, which led to the employee involved in that confusion lying to her manager so as to make it seem like I stormed out without paying and not that she just misinformed me and told me she wasnt going to charge me. The next day the location manager called me, accused me twice of lying, and told me he had an audio recording that verified that employees account of the situation. This was later debunked by the owner. As a business owner, I cant imagine telling a lie to a customer that is so easily verifiably false just to manipulate the situation. I cant imagine a scenario in which that wouldnt wildly backfire.When I finally did hear from upper management, I found that person to be completely reasonable, understanding, empathetic, apologetic, professional, and helpful. So that was somewhat redeeming and why I have updated my review to be more positive. That said, I likely will not be returning to this location on account of this negative experience. There are a million wax salons in this world, I dont see any need to go back to one youve had a negative experience with. Hopefully others will enjoy a better experience.
