I love LGC. I have been with them since 2013 they are a great company to work for. I rarely have any problems if I do come across the situation theyre quick and to respond and attempt to get everything correct and straightened out. I would suggest this company to anyone.
They are unprofessional. I picked a job up on the app. It took almost 2 hrs on the bus. My 2nd day there someone else showed up, I volunteered to go home, since she arrived before I did. I called & spoke to someone at LGC, she told me not to worry about it since I signed up for the job 1st there shouldnt be a problem for tomorrow. She would call me back later on in the day if something changed.They also placed the blame on the client.. I went back down to the job on the 3rd day just to be turned away. I called according to LGC the job was canceled. They dont pay the 4 hrs automatically if your not needed. Im done w/them. If you have time to play games w/your money, then this is the place to work for. If there was choice to rate this company a NEGATIVE 5, I would.
Would highly recommend working for LGC! Staff are very responsive and professional. They help guide you to finding a steady job! and have an APP where you can pick up shifts :)
I have worked for LGC for 3+ years now and it has always been a fantastic job with my schedule. As a college student I was able to come home for break and immediately get on shifts and work on fun venues and at gorgeous places. Everyone in the office is very open to answering any questions or concerns as well as a huge help when going to a new venue. I continue to work with them and could not have asked for a better job especially with the way things are during the pandemic.
DO NOT WORK HERE. My girlfriend is treated horribley. The staff is RUDE ( I have been on speaker during their calls) not to mention she gets sent home all of the time from work. Poor quality as far as temp agencies. Save your time and go somewhere else. I would never work for change and be treated the way she is. Pay more, treat temps with respect and grow up.
The office is flexible and they offer a lot of positions. you choose where you want to work and there is an app they use to help manage your schedule. Love it!
Never ever work for this company !!! They will not pay you. They are very rude .They are extremely disorganized .They are an awful company that should be shut down .They treat their employees as canon fodder and their contracts with other companies as unimportant .I had worked with LGC for several years and have had multiple issues with them .The second most recent of which they did not pay me for one of my shifts for almost a month.I had to call the office everyday for 2 weeks before the issue was resolved .I also reported them to the labor board .I once again have not been paid for a shift ...I have contacted the corporate office in Denver on multiple occasions and still no change .I got a reply to this review when I originally posted from a woman named Brooke who tells me to talk to the corporate office if I have an issue like this yet she leaves no way to contact the corporate office .I am officially done with this company .I am once again going to report them to the labor board .I will not be taking another shift with this awful company ever again .In the winter the hours with my other temp companies go down so I keep LGC for emergencies but I do my best to avoid taking shifts with them at all costs .So beware .The office staff is often rude and I have had payroll issues with them many times.Not too mention in previous years I have been sent out to a job site just to get sent home because they are over staffed on multiple occasions .These are issues multiple employees have dealt with and it is inexcusable .My suggestion to you if you have dealt with any of these issues with them report them to the labor board .It might not seem like it will help but it makes these issues known and helps the labor board determine whether or not they can or should take action to prevent LGC from taking advantage of their employees .If you have not been paid for shifts that is illegal. So please report it.
I love working for LGC hospitality. Jobs are available for those who want to work. The staff are nice, professional and courteous and willing to work with me. What i love the most is making my own schedule and decide which jobs I want to work. They always have work for me even when they are slow. Great hours, flexible pay, able to walk in and complete application and then get on an app to pick up shifts on my own that work for my schedule. Easy fast accommodating.
I have worked here for about four months now. The office staff is always helpful and they really try and match your schedule with what you can work. Sometimes my availability does not allow me to work as much as i would like, but once it opens up they always try and put me on what they have. I have worked with two other agencies in the city and no one else has been as accommodating. We worked a really awesome event last week where we were able to bring home lots of dessert! looking forward to working more events with LGC!
LGC Hospitality Staffing is a great opportunity for anyone and has developed a wonderful work atmosphere. The staff is caring and responsive to your requests and truly does a great job while displaying genuine interest in your needs. I knew I should have not worked for this company!!! Went to apply and had an orientation months ago and was never given an assignment. Months later, I get a call asking me to work. I took the assignment because I wasnt working. I applied as a housekeeper but was given a kitchen job and wasnt even told the position before I went. I worked the assignment because I had no other choice PERSONALLY!!! I was issued a pay card when I applied but threw it away because they NEVER gave me work. I go to get a replacement pay card and was charged $5. My first payday comes and I have worked overtime, 6 days straight for this company and I WAS NOT PAID!!! I called the office and was told that I wasnt paid and I would be receiving a live check in the mail. WHY??? She says that it was not the office but the payroll company. I call corporate and am told that the check was mailed out the same day. I have not received my pay still!!! I continue to call Denver office and Indiana office and Im given the run around all week. A whole new week has come and I still have not been paid for the 6 days, overtime I worked. Now the offices say pay $35 to trace my paycheck. Why should I pay for a mistake that wasnt my fault??? Or the other option is to wait 2 weeks and they will trace it. What kind of company does this? I should have read some of these reviews before applying. If more than one person says the same think about something, BELIEVE IT!!! Dont work for this company. The pay sucks!!! All other temps with other companies make more than LGC employees on every job site.
It’s LGC Hospitality but most of the managers are hardly nice. No wonder why it’s hard for them to keep employees. Don’t let them tell you that you haven’t showed up to events when you actually attended all that were signed up for.
I am doing this based on my friends experience and since Im the reason he signed up with this company, they would send him on assignments and once he gets there the assignment was over booked this has happened a bunch of times, then on one assignment he had a family emergency on the way to an assignment (death in family) and some rude chick calls him and even after explaining she still remained rude, and when calling the office they never pick up or return the call until they need people to work then theyre blowing your phone up and leaving 1000 messages, there are a few rude people in this office that makes you question your own age, like they speak to you like your a kid, and then theres 1-2 that are pretty cool, I myself work this job as a part time job when I need to, and Im in an office so this work was out of my norm, but the unprofessionalism is insane. And the pay alot of temp services pay out more fir the same work and less attitude. Im just saying. The way they treat my friend with sending him to places and its over booked, yet dont reimburse for the time and money it took to get there. You want great employees why cant you start off with just as great of an office staff. It works both ways.

Don’t even waste your time working here!! At ALL! The very first time I agreed to work a shift they gave me ALL the information from the location, to attire, to even the SPECIFIC entrance of the building that I was supposed to enter. I called on the day of to confirm, and thank god that I did because after having a 10 minute conversation agreeing to work the shift and writing down the info the lady told me I wasn’t even on the schedule for that day and the event was full. Suppose I had showed up to work the event I was CLEARLY scheduled for, then what? Completely disorganized! Then skipping forward, I decided to pick up a couple shifts again to give them another chance. Now, in their defense, I had an emergency and did not call them to tell them I wouldn’t make the shift, (no call. No show) HOWEVER, the voicemail that was left on my phone from an employee there was ABSOLUTELY inappropriate, and I will be keeping it saved for when I figure out who is running that god awfulOperation they call a “business”To be honest, the voicemail alone I could sue them. You should watch your employees and also tell them to watch what they say to people over the phone! I now have voicemail evidence that LGC hospitality is a HOSTILE working place. Can you say EEOC? Tara, will be the reason your business fails, she should never be allowed to call people, or even have her job! Good luck running a place where people can’t even keep track of the employees they schedule and also leave outstandingly inappropriately RUDE voicemails. I assure you, you will be sued in the future running things like that.

Called and set up an interview, they had availability the next day, went to orientation after I was hired, and went to work a couple days later after I got the uniform. No games, they hold you to a high standards, but this is a job. dont waste their time they wont waste yours. pay is held for the first wekk but if you go to work each week you get a check every week.
Up until this point, it has been alright but I have this feeling that the government is scared of justice and it appears as though these politicians are and were aware of governmental agencies teaming up with immoral corporations, which have displayed actions that are maliciously motivated, such as, planning a serious suspension of my license, despite child support being paid ahead of time, their failure to extend an offer of employment, before taking more drastic changes, an unwillingness to be honest about my character, then there are these entities false allegations about using illicit substances, attempts to cover up for their errors, these folks intent to place an innocent man through a ruthless conspiracy to ensure banks wont offer business loans or credit cards, then you have the courts and media and police officers who have gang stalked, intimidated, harassed, inflicted bodily harm, defamed character, dismissed all valid discrimination complaints filed against this tyrannical government, plus, some of these businesses were and have tried setting up for their over collection of supervision fees, bankrupted my children and I, etc. I have to wondet when these entities are going to stop piling people on the bus to purposely make me late for work. Hopefully, LGC, Associates doesnt build an alliance with these businesses crimes against Jewish people and African American folks and Hispanic beings. If LGC, Associates doesnt do the exact same things it will feel great.

This company is the most horrible company to work for when they hire u they tell u they have all this work and then never send u out! On top of it they tell u ur getting paid every week which u dont!! Its just a big waste of time I had to find something permanent I didnt go out on a job for almost two weeks after I applied!!
Pretty much everything on here is true. I dont ever feel like the employees have a friendly tone, ever. If they answer the phone they hang up saying they cant hear whos on the other end (no other number I call has a problem hearing me) BUT you have to leave a voicemail 90% of the time anyway. The two times Ive called to pick up a shift they give me the information for a shift. I WRITE DOWN the information so I can be at the right place with the right clothes, but when I call to confirm the shift, they have had me down for the wrong date and time! Then give me an attitude, how would I have information about a shift Im not scheduled for? Then like its my fault THEY put down the wrong shift. Any time you go into the office there are at least 5 people on a computers sitting at a table. Why 5 people cant answer a phone or keep shifts straight is beyond me and really reflects how lazy and unprofessional this company can be...
Interviewed, went to orientation and got to work. It only took three days to start making money! THANKS LGC!
Horrible! Hailey and Tara are the WORST to work for. Hailey is rude and condescending and very short on the phone- unprofessional. Tara is supposedly the big manager but never in the office to help and let’s her workers run all over her at events- unprofessional as well. Don’t work here. I just quit and let them know by email.
Lindsay rocks. Communication is my concern. Within the office and between the agency and the employers.Overall they work with your schedule.
I worked for this company when they first opened in Denver (2011)it was a very bad experience.The pay is low the expectation is high,I almost gave LGC another chance thank god I read some of these reviews, it seems LGC cant get it together!

I suffer bad rude last year calls and my wife and i try to work they keep rude to us. they has no right to discrimite with our right as disability need.
Wasnt a good place to work at. They are really unprofessional when it comes to answering left messages, and Dug was pretty rude on the phone. They called me to work a shift one day and I told them I couldnt and they still tried to put me on! Not only that, but the day I quit they did not pay me for my hours because I walked out, but I worked up to 6 hours. Overall its a unprofessional company with rude employees.
Just like any other company in Denver Colorado. They hire you and its good for the first few months. Soon after a few montha you get little work. Then none at all. When you call asking for work its always an excuse or they dont answer. But when you try to file for unemployment they keep you on the employment list so they wont have to pay that umployment stuff or pay you. They are causing people who fill aplications out but cant get work because they are still employed. Or when you do they would answer tell the people you are trying to get a job at you no longer work there they let you go a long time ago. This is happening to my Boyfriend and Dad right now as we speak. Been on the employment list for a year and a half now and cant get work.

They try to get away with not paying you in full. I have 18.5 hours missing from my check. 2 weeks ago I had 6 hours missing. Ive only been there 4 weeks this is extremely unprofessional
