My first couple of interactions with J. Kent Staffing were positive ones. I was excited to have a company help me find a job. The first job they reached out to me about, I never heard from. The second job I didn’t get & since then, I never heard back from my initial contact. That was weeks ago. I had a second person reach out to me a couple weeks ago & after reaching out to her via text & email, I never heard back. She said she had a job for me & I never heard from them again. I wasted tons of time on phone calls with the company that ended up being for nothing. Using their service wasn’t helpful for me & I wouldn’t choose to use it again.

JKent has a physical office with a welcoming reception desk which is an added bonus to me as many firms dont. Their team is always easy to reach via email or by phone number and quick to respond. J Kent has been a great experience for me while I look for full time employment. Having recently moved to Denver I was looking for temporary work to fill the void in unemployment. I was impressed with how quickly I was placed. My initial interview was in early January and I have been consistently placed in various roles ever since. Roles have included data entry, mailings, and reception. and have been as short as a partial day, and as long as 2 weeks. Every location has been a great experience. The locations have also been very accepting and inviting, both to me as an individual and to a group that I was placed with. I definitely didnt know what to expect when I read many of the reviews from a few months ago, but I have found that J Kent Staffing and their staff, especially Bailey, have been nothing but supportive and excellent to work with ever since. To address some of the negative reviews from when I first started I would say that many people have/had unrealistic expectations of what J Kent Staffing does. My advice if you are consider using J Kent would be to keep an open mind, be flexible, and most importantly be patient. They are a great group that seemingly work tireless to meet my individual needs.

One of The Best Staffing Agencys Out There! Kara is a great recruiter and I literally made a phone call and was there within 24 hours and told Kara what I was looking for. I didnt want to be temp 3 months some place and I wanted a Direct Hire situation and she had a place in mind. I went to my interview the next day and I started the following week. I have been at my job ever since! It was a perfect fit!I have worked and interview with other Staffing Agencys but J.Kent Staffing really took in my thoughts to what I wanted to do and knew how to place me. They care about what they do. Others have mentioned the lack of communication as a fail point with this organization, and thats been my experience with them so far as well. Ive applied to two positions with them in the last week (I am a highly-qualified professional on career track with 20+ years of experience, so perhaps a little overqualified, but regardless) and have heard nothing. Even called to follow up, no response.They seem to have a number of positions to fill, but Im not convinced this is an agency for seasoned professionals.This review will be updated if the situation develops in another direction.

I have registered with other temporary agencies. However, it started to feel less meaningful when so many different recruiters from the same agency would contact me - or forget to contact me - and it seemed I had to constantly repeat what I was looking for. However, J. Kent Staffing was more personable. They would keep in touch with me and remembered what I was looking for, and called me as soon as that type of assignment came in. They were also very professional. My supervisor at my current assignment even mentioned that she heard J. Kent Staffing has a good reputation.
