While he presented options for upgrades on the shingles, I never felt pressured into it, and though I decided to go with the upgrade, it was not because of being pushed into it. Even after the job was done, John was open to communication and is in the process of helping me get some repairs done after another contractor did some damage to our new roof replacing a swamp cooler. Roofing is something important to the value of a home, being confident you have made the right decision in choosing a roofing contractor is not easy for a homeowner with little knowledge of roofing. Dozens of canvassers show up after every storm offering free roof inspections. Normally I tell them to get lost as I simply dont trust them but after the last storm I figured why not. I was approached by Expert Exteriors the very next day after being pummeled by hail. I agreed to the inspection and shortly I had three people carefully analyzing the condition of my roof. They were careful and knowledgeable and confirmed my expectations that the roof was damaged. One roofer would turn out to be my project manager, Alan Schrock, he made it his business to carefully and fully explain every aspect of the process. He relied upon the advice of the senior managers and made an update essentially daily, he accompanied the adjustor and with his help made sure my insurance claim was fully honored. He was invaluable to my understanding of a somewhat, to me, complex process. I heartily recomend both Alan and Expert Exteriors. Ask for Alan when you need a roof repair.....

For being a reputable business you don’t know good driving etiquette. We all have to share the road and when a drive from your company is to impatient cutting people off and driving erratically it’s not safe. I had kids in the car and me slamming on my brakes like I had almost caused a bigger accident. Just be safe and think twiceUPDATE: I have never received service from you guys, if you read the review, I’m stating that your driving is reckless and unnecessary. You could have caused an accident and the only way to hold you accountable is to post a review! There is more to replacing a damaged roof than just the replacement of the roofing material. The more serious problem is dealing with the insurance company to obtain maximum reimbursement. Expert Exterior assisted in helping me obtain maximum reimbursement from the insurance company right from the start of the project. When the insurance agent inspected the roof for damage a representative from Expert Exterior was there to review and assist in the inspection. It was necessary to go back to the insurance company for adjustments four times and each time Expert Exteriors dealt with the insurance company, argued for the reimbursement, and provided the requested documentation. While the roofing replacement was completed in one weekend, it took nearly three months to finalize the settlement with the insurance company. Expert Exteriors continued to represent me throughout the negotiations. I was kept informed throughout the process and representatives from Expert Exteriors checked back with me often to see if there was any assistance they could render. I strongly recommend that in considering replacing a roof under insurance that you take into account the time and effort that the roofing company is willing to spend in helping you obtain your maximum reimbursement from the insurance company.

I HIGHLY recommend Expert Exteriors!! I was skeptical at first because they came to my door and asked to inspect my roof. I went ahead and let them and I am so happy I did!! I have had to have my roof replaced now twice due to hail. My first experience was abominable; I would not recommend that company. But this one was a pleasant breath of fresh air. In large measure due to the continual personal efforts of their employee Trisha, I was simply wow-ed. They were so very easy to work with; they took the laboring oar in dealing with the insurance company; they were prompt and stayed in constant communication; their crew was scrupulous in cleaning up after themselves (unlike my past experience when we were mowing over roofing nails for 2 years); and I could go on and on. The quality of both workmanship and materials seems to be top-notch. They were careful to not damage our gutters and downspouts. Lastly, a supervisor came out a day later to inspect their work, something the other firm never did.

I had my roof and gutters replaced by Expert Exteriors and I am very happy with their work. Billy was great to work with and he kept me informed about what was going on. Isacc Benavidrz is the best. I hope I don’t have to do a roof insurance claim again anytime soon, but I will recommend him to everyone and use him exclusively in the future. He is very attentive and communicates often. He is upstanding, honest, and hard working. He did an inspection of the roof and took photos for us to send to the insurance company to begin. He was present and pointed out all the damage to the adjuster when they came out. He went so far as to look up replacement costs for our hot tub cover even so we could be reimbursed for that too! He gave us an itemized bill and we were able to easily recover deprivation cost tallied by the insurance company. His crew got the entire HUGE roof done in 3 days and Isacc went and checked it himself. He hand checked and picked up left over debris and nails by hand after using the magnet just to make sure we didn’t have any damaged tires. The only money we outplayed immediately was the product which was delivered and payment taken. Never was there any pressure or ask for additional cash before the job was done. I cannot express how great of a company and sales person Isacc has and is. Professionalism and pride of a job well done is often missed in this day and age but not with this company. Expert Exteriors (EE) offered to inspect our roof at no charge or obligation. Jason Genson inspected our roof and immediately became our tireless advocate with the insurance company. We had tried twice before to submit a claim for hail damage with no success. Jason said there was some hail damage, however there was overwhelming wind damage and it should qualify as a total loss. We had to endure initial rejections but Jason wouldnt quit. He took over 300 pictures and asked for another inspector. Eventually the insurance company agreed to cover replacement of our roof. Jasons efforts saved us thousands of dollars. I highly recommend EE and personally thank Jason for not giving up!

The actual work was fine and they were very transparent about the process. But their communication on when people were going to show up was not very good. The project manager was clear on his timing, but the actual construction crew showed up un-announced and started clomping on the roof at 6:30 AM on a Tuesday. They were very nice about it, at least. An inspector showed up on a Sunday at noon after failing to schedule anything, and then copped an attitude about how other people can figure out their phone. I was not even expecting this follow-up inspection. They need to have better communication ahead of time when people are showing up.

Chris was my project manager. What a nice man. He conducted the initial inspection and prepared the final quote but asked if he could cover some exposed sheeting to prevent moisture from entering my attic ...before I signed a contract. The EE installation crew was experienced and professional. Chris was in contact with me by phone and text throughout and inspected the ongoing progress. Chris also notified the neighbors of the project so that they and their pets would not be alarmed by the noise from the installation. First class act! The demo was cleaned up thoroughly but Chris also personally did a final magnet mop up to check for nails. I found only two in the mulch. He did a roof inspection as well. Next day an EE subcontractor conducted an attic inspection to verify the gas flue stack was not damaged and secure Later, the EE QA inspector arrived to conduct a final roof inspection. Good job Chris and EE. I’m very happy.

Sam Gallegos was our project manager from beginning to end and we could not have been more satisfied with his work. Since this was an insurance claim it was helpful that our insurance company works with EE frequently and dovetailed seamlessly. We had almost no contact with insurance company after the initial appraisal.Due to a noise- sensitive renter, Sam took extra steps to ensure that the house part of the project was finished in a single day to mitigate disruption to that person. His crews were amazingly fast, hard working and polite, leaving the place clean when they were finished.The gutters were equally well installed. Sam was patient and thorough with making improvements and upgrades (in addition to the necessary replacement), providing the exact figures for cost to us.Something that really impressed us about Sam was his communication. He coordinated all of the work and was very good about clearly explaining the process as well as communicating during the various stages of the repairs. Cody was great to work with and very responsive before the job but then things turned bad and he was extremely rude and unprofessional after the job was done. After final payment was made suddenly there was more. The roof looks great but the after service was horrible. I would not recommend this company for anything. Professionalism is key to good reviews and I cannot in good faith recommend this company because of the lack of professionalism with the customer.

Curtis Johnson was the project manager we worked with on our home. He had to meet our insurance adjusters at our house on three different occasions because they were trying everything they could to not approve our claim. When the insurance agent was afraid to go on our steep roof, Curtis himself got up there and took pictures to show the adjuster what he was seeing. We’re one year out and we still love the way our home looks. We’re so thankful for Curtis’ attention to detail, persistence and professionalism. The food was excellent. I had a seafood stew special. It had prawns, scallops and tuna in a curry with rice and fresh coconut. I also had an ice tea. The flavors were tantalizing and made my mouth tingle. It was just the right amount. I left full but not stuffed and there were no leftovers. Will definitely be back.

Expert Exteriors replaced my roof 7 years ago. When they did the original installation I was very happy. From start to finish the project went very smoothly. A week ago with a heavy snow I noticed there was a leak in the roof in my garage. I called Expert Exteriors and they sent a repairman out the same day. He found the issue but had to let it dry out for a couple days to fix it. A couple days later he came out and fixed the leak. There was no charge to me as they warrantied the issue. There are not many companies these days that stand behind their product for a year. Expert Exteriors took care of my issue after 7 years. Thats a company that I want to do business with. I am very pleased with this company and will recommend them to any one needing roof work.

The work looks beautiful! Yes, I know most people just want a roof to not leak and it does that too! But it looks beautiful at the same time! The colors blend beautifully with our house colors and make a difference I didnt even consider with our old roof!
