My check engine light came on in the middle of my road trip. I called a bunch of shops downtown and they were all backed up for 2+ weeks. I called Maple hoping theyd be able to see me sooner and thankfully they were! Matt was super helpful and let me come in first thing at the start of the week. Fortunately the issue wasnt imperative for my return trip home so he gave me some advice and told me to follow up with my mechanic back home. When it came time to check out he told me not to worry about it! I was surprised but very thankful. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the area, they were quick to inspect the issue and very communicative.

I want to start this review by mentioning that we’ve taken our car to Maple for years. We briefly switched over to Christian Brothers but decided it was best to switch back to supporting small and local after the pandemic affected so many small businesses.This past Tuesday, we took our 2014 Subaru Outback in to have it serviced and inspected to ensure it would be in good working order for a long drive as we were moving and stopping for a quick family vacation on the way. The mechanic called and recommended that we replace the serpentine belt, and without question, we trusted that they would handle this with professionalism. We agreed to the repairs and $800 worth of work.Four days later on Saturday, our car broke down on the highway. While I 100% understand that no one is perfect and mistakes are sometimes made, we were stranded with no rental car companies or mechanics that were near our location. Our only option was to have the vehicle towed to the dealership that was 6 miles away, thus incurring over $110 in tow bills.On Monday morning the dealership called to go over the issues with the car stating the pulley system worked fine and all the hoses were in good working order. Diagnostic: improper belt placement.We called the shop and spoke with Matt. We asked for nothing other than the cover of the repairs. Even though they set us back DAYS and left our teenagers stranded at the airport because we couldn’t get to them to pick them up. We were not unreasonable with a request for the final repair, which was $321. They only refunded us for the cost of the belt which is really unfair considering the insurmountable amount of money we’ve spent/lost due to their faulty work. They lack professionalism and accountability.We care about our neighbors so we would like to be as transparent as possible so you do not make the same mistake we did. It’s unfortunate when you try to support local with a lack of accountability.

On July 22 2021 Maple Garage installed a serpentine belt on my 2014 Subaru Outback. On July 24 2021 said Subaru Outback was being driven in Ocala Florida and said serpentine belt was in pieces causing the vehicle to become inoperable. The location that the vehicle died in was filthy, full of used heroine needles, 97 degrees and unsafe. We were stuck there with our 6 year old daughter and two elderly dogs. In order to not be trapped in said location the car had to be towed to Ocala Subaru, and an Uber was used to travel to the dealership as well.July 16th 2021 the Ocala Subaru inspected the vehicle and they stated that the serpentine belt was installed incorrectly. We spoke with Matt at Maple directly after and I told him the best outcome is that they pay for the repairs. He agreed that they should pay.Long story short damage from the belt caused engine combustion failure and it is blown. We are out minimum 15K +. This caused my family hardship and we essentially lost a day of our first vacation in over a very tough year. I am seeking relief now for all the inconvenience and financial hardships my family went through.

Great and honest business. The people have become friends! I trust them with all my vehicle needs. I own an old Mercedes and they have helped me take care of it to keep it going.

They have done quick and efficient work both times I’ve taken my truck here. I needed a last minute appointment for a tire and they got me in asap and even gave me a discount. Super grateful given my budget was super tight and I was crunching numbers for it. They didn’t know this so the act of kindness has gone a long way. Enough that I want to make sure to give them a great review so more people head their way. Neighborhood friendly, always say hi to me and my dogs when on walks. Great little shop!

I had some brake work done to my vehicle, and the shop who performed this work, did it incorrectly. Maple garage found the issues with the new installation and fixed it. The owner has answered the phone every single time, he works at the front desk too, and has great customer service. Maple garage keeps your vehicle locked up in the shop over night, and I won’t be going anywhere else. Guys are awesome.

My car broke down in the area and I was able to pull into Maple Garage. I paid $157 for a diagnostic test and they claimed I needed a full throttle body replacement at the cost of $950. I called my normal mechanic and they said that was an odd diagnosis. I towed to my normal mechanic and turns out the issue was a blown fuse at the cost of $60. If I didnt trust my gut and stick with Maple I would be out a ton of money for an unnecessary repair. Super disappointing.

Never go here I gave them one star because I couldnt go any lower . They said my daughters truck needed an engine, trusting them and over $5000.00 and over a month later the truck ran the exact way it was running when I took it in to begin with . I also questioned whether they even replaced the engine had to take them to court I got some of my money back but the judge wouldnt even look at the pictures that I had of bolts not being tightened down and different things not even being repaired .

Honestly if I wasn’t in a pinch I would of just towed my car to a more respectable and integral mechanic. They’re extremely overpriced and the store manager had the audacity to try and say it’s because of COVID. COVID has nothing to do with you guys charging an hour of labor for just exchanging a car battery. Shame on you for continuing to conduct business in such a repulsive and grimey manner.

Weve exclusively bright our cars here for the past couple years. Its a great shop with great staff, and theyve always charged a fair price.

First time customer. Car broke in the area. Had to call them multiple times for status. Took all day for a simple problem. The belt broke and they tried to sell my gf on a new battery as well. The battery is fine. Hate jerks that take advantage of women. Lame.

I found Maple Garage from a Groupon for an oil change four years ago. From then on they became my go to for all my car maintenance and repair. I like how Jeremy explains things to me and can tell he’s being honest and fair. He lets me know my back brakes are going to need to be replaced, but that I can wait for the next oil change. That gives me time to prepare. It was time for an oil change last week- with their synthetic oil it’s every six months or 6000 miles, whichever comes first. I hadn’t driven the 6000 miles yet but they wanted to check it out. The oil was not ready for a change, so they didn’t change it!! Yes! That’s what I mean by fair. I can tell when someone is trying to sell me something, but it really doesn’t feel like that here. They’re family owned, take care of me and have the best prices. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Maple garage has been excellent to me over the years. 4 or 5 years ago I was having an issue with my Nissan Versa. Once they diagnosed my vehicles issue they looked it up and found that the repair was still covered under warranty. They told me that I could get that fixed at the dealer for free. By telling me this they were sending their business back to the dealer to save me money when they easily could have charged me for the repair themselves and I would have never known.This month I brought them my Nissan Rouge that I was told by another mechanic shop that I needed new breaks and rotors ($600 estimate). They were honest with me about their assessment and told me the break pad mm number and told me I could wait until my next oil change. I was also given a print out of the break pad mm for my records. In addition I had a tire pressure sensor issue that has been happening for the last six months. They checked it out for me and finding no issue called me right away to let me know.Maple garage has always been timely, friendly and honest about maintenance and repairs that my cars need. They spent the time to educate me about my car and do not make me feel inferior as a female. Have been using Maple Garage for a few years now for multiple vehicles. Oil changes and general maintenance. Recently, had a fuel pump go out on my truck, which is never good, because your vehicle becomes a sitting duck. I was a bit in a bind as I needed my truck for a project and needed the repair to be done quickly. These guys expedited everything and had it done the next day!! I was impressed with their understanding of my situation and how they gave notice to that. I am very particular about auto shops and mechanics in general. These guys are fantastic. Prices are outrageous. Well over $700 for an oil change and to get my front brakes done on a 2015 Subaru. They charged me $65 just for the brake diagnostic, which is free most places, especially if you have the work done there. The synthetic oil change was over $90. They charged me $124 for the brake pads, which I can find online for $40, and $190 for rotors that cost $70. Those prices were for parts alone, not labor. I absolutely will not return and will be telling people to avoid this predatory shop.

Helped my friend bring his car there for a diagnosis and fix. Staff was kind and professional. Fixed his issue same day and sent him on his way. Very good experience with the shop. The fix was a very minor item though so I cant speak for overall aptitude. The way we were taken care of leads me to believe they would do a fantastic job!

Third time was not the charm. Twice before the last time I had been gone to Maple Garage for routine oil changes. My car was fine before the most recent oil change there, but afterwards, not so fine. I had oil all over my garage floor, and that persisted for a full month, despite my efforts to stop it. Removed a half quart of excess (overfilled) oil, but the leak kept on leaking. Bottom line, the cars oil pan plug had been overtightened and its threads stripped. It was very expensive to get it fixed. At this point Im not a fan of Maple Garage because the tech made a mistake and didnt own up to it.

Wow, this is such a great shop. For only $30 they did my oil change, took my car on a test drive, inspected for safety, and checked fluid, and tire pressure, and several other things. They really try to find the best price on parts and are truly friendly people. They run a great business.

Great small business find in my neighborhood! I was able to schedule an appointment online for an oil change. They were prompt and attentive when I arrived. They let me know how my brake pads, fluids (which they topped off), and belts were looking. I knew I needed a new cabin filter and they got one in minutes from a supplier down the street for $11 when Grease Monkey had quoted me $60 last time for a new one. I will definitely return to Maple Garage!

Car is running great after they fixed it! Had a bad transmission fluid leak and they patched it all up! Only reason I gave 4/5 is there was a small mix up in communicating how long the fix would take but we got it all patched up!

I’ve taken my car here a couple times for mostly minor repairs. The guys at Maple provide great, fair service and can get you in and repaired quickly. I took my car here recently after not being able to replace my windshield nozzles on my own and they did it free of charge. Definitely recommended!

I am so impressed with these guys. My car wouldnt start this morning so after getting a jump, I took it to Maple Garage and left it in their hands. Charged me $60 for an oil change. They added something to the oil that I did not ask for at all. What happened? Thought I could trust them doing such a simple thing.

Got my timing belt replaced here. Called ahead to let them know I was coming a couple days in advance and everything went smoothly. Service is excellent and timely and the staff are all very friendly. The price is very fair as well, I called a handful of local mechanics and this garage gave me the lowest quote by a decent margin, to top it off the actual cost ended up coming in just under the quote. I will definitely be recommending these guys to everyone I know

Extremely honest and down to earth. I know my way around a car and everything he said fit the bill (and was a good price too). I had a squeak on my older vehicle that I dont want to invest much in, and the co-owner told me We could fix it, but it wouldnt be worth the cost since its just a squeak and doesnt affect anything else. I like that honesty.

I just had the BEST auto shop experience ever here. I called this morning in a panic (after calling several places near me only to find I couldnt get in until at least Thursday) because my car was making a bad noise. Even though I didnt have an appointment and they were busy - they said I could bring it in and they would help me out as soon as they could. I was called within the hour with the info about what was going on and they had the car fixed like and hour after that. The staff was kind and helpful and they didnt try and pressure me into fixing the other problems with the car ( which happens to me all the time being a 23 year old woman) YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST. 10/10 worth the money.

I showed up at close with my broke down car. At first when they diagnosed my car and slammed my radiator cap under my hood I thought they were amatuers and the fact that the were dumb enough to not put my radiator cap back on was a bad experience. They were right about the problem and Im very thankful. The fact that I walked out to my car and immediately knew I had to open my hood because something important was in the way is less than 5 stars. Thanks tho all is well with my old Honda!

I purchased a 2004 Subaru forester from a mechanic named Jeremy that worked at this shop back in January. He replaced the head gaskets and timing belt on the car before hand, and I trusted that he did a great job. Turns out, two months later I noticed a head gasket leak. I tried contacting him about it, no response at all. Needless to say what he did was a half a#$ job. I took the whole engine apart and the head gasket was leaking because of a stripped head bolt thread as well was warped heads on both sides. On top of that, he used the incorrect cam sprocket for the vehicle which had the timing marks all out of wack. Again, when I tried to contact him about it, no answer. The work on the vehicle is still not finished. He did all of the work at the shop, so I am not sure if the shop is liable for his work or not but if any of the owners see this review, I would love to talk to them. Thank you.

I have never been disappointed by the service that I receive at Maple Garage. Everyone who works there is completely professional and very knowledgeable. They always seem to go above and beyond to insure their customers satisfaction. Their pricing is reasonable and they have never tried to upsell me in any way. Needed manual locking mechanism on two doors fixed. They didnt have parts to fix it. So I thanked them for trying, and authorized an oil change. They valued their work at $140. When I entered my car I realized they didnt even put the panels back on, they left them in my back seat.

They will charge you a $50 “inspection fee” if you do not choose to go with their services. I dropped my car off for a known bearing problem, which I informed them of what needed to be replaced. Quote came in too high and I needed to pay $50 to get my truck back.

It is a huge relief to find an auto repair shop I can trust. I got a $1000 quote for new brakes and other repairs from another garage and brought my car here for a second opinion. They looked at my car and told me that it was premature to work on the car at this time and did not charge me for the inspection. Highly recommended.

I took my recently purchased used car to Maple Garage on a Groupon deal, which included; oil change, battery check, tire rotation, fluid top off, visual break inspection, check-engine light computer scan, 46-point courtesy inspection, and 10% off parts and labor for maintenance and repairs on the next visit, which I used. I knew that the car would probably need additional work after they were done inspecting the vehicle. The men that work at this shop are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to get an appointment a few days after my inspection, which was important, as I was about to move out of state and needed to make sure the issues were fixed. The mechanics didnt push anything on me, only mentioned what certainly needed to be repaired and what could wait. I found the costs to be really reasonable. I highly recommend Maple Garage - thanks guys!

Ive taken my car here a few times now and have nothing but good things to say. The first time I took my car in, I had asked them to change the break pads because my dealership had done some service work and noted that they were very low and needed to be replaced. The guys at Maple found that the pads were not worn enough to need replacement and called me to see if i wanted it done still. They also identified a serious issue that the dealership had completely missed. I really appreciated that they didnt just move forward with the work they didnt feel was necessary and took the time to check with me first. Ive only been back for a few small items since but this place is quickly becoming my go to for car work. They seem very knowledgeable and their customer service is great. Thanks Maple Garage!
