I would not use this company even if they were the cheapest estimate. It took the 2 days to even return my call for an estimate. Then they came over, spent 5 minutes measuring my patio (for screening). Before they left (10am), they said we would have an estimate by end of day. Called at 4:45pm to check on the estimate (their website states they close at 5pm). The receptionist must have passed my concern. Got a call from Josh that stated “this is how we operate, we go out for estimates all day, until 5pm and then we come back to the office and type up all the estimates. If you are willing to be patient, we will get you your estimate, if not, you can find another company to do the work”. I stated that we were told we would have the estimate by end of day, so I wanted to call before they close. I asked “isn’t 5pm the end of the day? He responded “not in Florida, everyone usually works from sun up to sun down, so again, if you want to be patient, I can get you an estimate, if not, find someone else”... Really poor first impression. I can only imagine if I had hired them how they would treat me, if that is their first impression. I would rather go help a small family-owned business with a great disposition than give one penny to this company.

We are new to FL. We had shopped the brochure screen enclosure salesmen. We asked for and were referred to an area Southern Screen by a local businessman who had enjoyed his for five years.We are so pleased to come across a company that behaves like our business is important to them.We (cat included) are so delighted with our bird cage! The project went smoothly and the finished product exceeded our expectations.The work ethic displayed was phenomenal. The crews were personable, knowledgeable, and patiently answered our barrage of questions,. They tweaked the installation so that it works well for us while educating us with easy maintenance tips.Oh, yes! I almost forgot to mention cleanup. This company is the company to hirer, they worked and took care of everything, I didnt have to worry about anything. they removed and installed a new porch after a tree fell on my porch causing damage. The two guys on the job never stopped all day, it was 100 degree weather they both were so nice and polite.

I was eager to get work done on my patio. It’s been over a month and a half, 2 visits to measure my patio, and no estimate. I have called multiple times and keep being told that they would get me my estimate by the next day. It’s been over a week since the last time I contacted the company. Still no estimate. It’s almost like they don’t want the business.

I am so thankful for the good value.My old pool enclosure had pine needles coming through the top, we talked about a tighter screen that no needles would come through. I love the new screen definently worth having done. Had alot of winds during memorial day not one pine needle stuck to screen. Thank you southern screen for a great job at a great price.

Tammy & Rich are great along with their entire crew.I have not had such wonderful and professional service in many years for anything I have had done.I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with a complete re screen of our pool enclosure.It took two days to do a very large over height enclosure and they cleaned up so she did not know they were working on it.They went way out of their way to try and help me surprise her and I can say she was surprised and more than happy with results.The enclosure was dirty covered in algae with several missing panels of screen.After they were done the enclosure looked brand new actually better than new.I dont write many reviews but felt that this kind of service needed cheering about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an awesome company!! I have been dealing with Southren Screen for years. They are so professional and friendly. This family owned and operated business is simply the best. They have completed several projects at my residence. The quality and workmanship is hands down the best. During hurricane Irma I did not so much as loose a screen. However I did loose trees and fencing. This just speaks to the quality of workmanship this company does. My last project was a roof over for my bbq area. It took a little while for it to be completed due to how busy they are. No problem here. If you want the best sometimes you have to wait😊. They called me weekly to keep me updated, and it was completed in one day!!! I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Feel free to ask them for my number and photos of my projects.

The woman came over to look at our screen door and gave us a written estimate and I thought that was very fast and professional well thats where the professionalism ended! My husband has called and called and sometimes shell call back and tell my husband Im working on getting you into the schedule other times theres no call back at all! This is a very bad representation of your business! I would not recommend them to anyone. To me if this is how you treat your potential customers then what does that say about the quality of your work?

They were not the cheapest estimate I recieved....but after the customer service I recieved I knew I made the right choice. 1st of all family owned and operated. 2nd State Certified Contractor. Licensed & insured. 3rd Every part of my screen enclosure was done right. Everyone involved in my project was knowledgeable and extremely courteous. Tammy and Rich from Southern Screen were a great choice. I highly recommend using them. Even the inspector that came out from the city told me the enclosure was excellent and one of the best hes ever see . I am very happy.
