Dont even bother trying to make a new patient appointment. I gave them 4 rescheduling chances before deciding they are just a poorly managed office that I could not do business with. Im a really reasonable, patient person but they kept rescheduling my appointment (without notifying me until I was in office) or just telling me their systems were down and couldnt take me for no real reason. Really disappointed with their lack of responsibility. Oh, and good luck EVER getting through to them on the phone. They almost never answer and have a voicemail that is always full and automatically hangs up on you.

Dr. Cruz was amazing. He has moved to DeLand. Only worked with the new Dr. for one crown. He rushed the anesthetic and hit the nerve. No pain chipped tooth before visit turned into extreme pain after visit. Had to get a root canal after a week of waiting for a specialist. Misplaced new crown and had to order a second. New crown still feels awkward and still pain in nerve 2 months later. Multiple crowns done by Dr. Cruz and they feel fine years later. Avoid new doctor at all costs.

I love this office! It’s clean and tidy and the staff are so warm, courteous, and friendly. They always make me feel welcomed and are completely transparent with pricing and procedures. They are so professional and great at what they do. I definitely recommend going to this facility for dental work.

BEWARE! This office is unresponsive when it comes to refunding credits on account. It has been over a year and I am still waiting for the refund. Then the office manager had the audacity to request a payment for a copy of my X-rays. I understand business is business. I went to pick up the X-rays as told and they were not ready. To date, no refund nor copy of X-rays. Office has poor business practice.

I havent done my cleaning and check up since 2005 and Coast Dental took care of me right off the bat. Told me everything I needed to know and even repeated to me the information with ease because I wasnt familiar with all the things that my cleaning required. The cleaning went quick and great by Raoul. Tammy was great too setting up my appointments. Doctor Francisco was quick to figure out my teeth situation and explain what needed to be done. An amazing team indeed.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. While the services in office were average, getting in contact with the location has been horrible. Due to working in healthcare myself, 8-4:30, I’m unable to just show up to the location. I’ve been trying to reach the location via phone for over a month to have them submit a pre-estimate to my insurance company so that I may use their services- but since I was not able to reach them or the scheduling line AT ALL, I emailed a release of information request...and they STILL HAVE NOT SENT MY RECORDS. It is unbelievable. To me not being able to reach the office where you are getting treatment and services from is unprofessional. Go elsewhere if you have the option.

My appointment was set for 1020 A.M. Coast dental automatically scheduled me another appt for hygiene at 930 a.m. the same day. I have now been sitting here for two hours. Its almost 1120 and absolutely nothing has been done but me sitting in the chair waiting fir the dentist. The staff talks about customers around other customers with no such care. Very unprofessional.Excuse they gave was a filling took longer than expected. 1. Why do you schedule back to back appt when you have 1 doctor. 2. That has nothing to do with why my appt is now 2 hours behind and im late getting back to what else i have to do for the day. I over heard the staff go to remind the doctor he had several patients waiting and it sort of sounded like he strugged. Its funny you treated this way just for them to hold they hand out at the end of the process.It has now been 3 hours...1139 and still nothing but them telling me how much it would be...possibly.

The office was outdated and dirty. The staff was rude and condescending. They still use outdated xray equipment. They lie and tell you they have late spots available for working people but when you go to schedule we only schedule this type appt at 2:00 Save yourself some frustration. Even Greenberg Dental is better than this place!

This office provided me with the highest quality of care. The office manager, Tammy, was kind and compassionate towards my needs of a dental emergency. She promptly scheduled me and assisted with ensuring timeliness of the appointment. Thu-Ha was my hygienist and provided an ease and comfort to the process. With my extensive dental needs that day, Dr. Cruz agreed to work past hours to ensure proper care. The staff exuded compassion and dedication. I recommend this office for any dental needs.

THU-HA is the BEST! I always have confidence in her ever since we started having our appointments with her. Shes not only very nice and comforting but shes the best in what she does. I had an infected molar and Dr. Cruz, Tammy and Megan were absolutely wonderful! They got me in quickly and were very kind during a stressful time for me. I will recommend them to everyone! I also realized later that Dr. Cruz was the same great dentist my son had told me about when he had work done. An overall very gentle, kind and caring staff.

Terrible experience! I scheduled an appointment on November 1. I informed the person who contacted me that I was scheduling the appointment because I hadnt used the insurance since I got it, and I was pregnant so I figured I should go ahead and find a dentist. I specifically scheduled the appointment on 11/14 because I had a pregnancy appointment the same day and could just take the entire day off of work. I said all of this when I scheduled. I still received a call, a few days before the appointment asking if I could come in that morning as they had an opening. I reiterated that Id rather keep my original appointment because my pregnancy appointment is the same day and Im already off work. Fast forward to the appointment. Dr. Cruz was excellent, explained the process. Tammy, the office manager, comes to tell me, they need a release from my OB. Despite having gone to my OB in Lake Mary this morning where I could have easily picked up the letter, I politely said, okay. I called the OB who quickly attempted to fax the authorization. And even called to follow up. Tammy said the authorization hadnt been received and I should just reschedule. I work the same hours as the dentist, probably longer meaning its not easy for me to just reschedule. Im having a baby for god sake. I explained this was frustrating because I could have easily gotten the letter this morning when I was at the appointment I informed the scheduler about. Tammy said she did not know what to tell me. She kept saying there was nothing wrong with the fax machine and I should just reschedule. After an increasingly frustrating conversation that was going nowhere I asked to speak to the doctor. She denied me the opportunity to speak to him saying he had patients. I was his 2 oclock whom he should have still been servicing as it was about 2:26. I explained Id like to wait due to being very frustrated with the unprofessionalism shed displayed. She said I needed to leave or she would call the police as I hadnt been established as a patient and she wasnt going to allow me to speak to the doctor. I explained Id kindly wait in the waiting area for law enforcement to arrive. I inquired about 15 minutes later and was told by Tammy that shed cancelled the call and I left. Overall, no dental work done at this pointless dental appointment. Very disappointed because the dentist seemed very nice and I was looking forward to working with him. I would never go here again unfortunately!

This office has the nicest office staff, great hygienists and dental assistants, and a great dentist. In the past, I’d preferred to go to small family owned dentists, however this office has certainly changed my mind. They aren’t the type of team that makes you wonder if the service you received was really needed or if they were just trying to make money. I have full confidence in this team!!! Great job!

I have been in Deltona since 2002. I will admit, I had issues with Coast Dental billing a very long time ago. But I want everyone to know how wonderful and caring they are. From the lady at the front desk, the women that work along side the dentist, the newer hygienist and of course Tammy and Dr. Cruz. EVERYONE there is Awesome! This is one of the few places in my almost 49 years that I have had such wonderful care.I have rare autoimmune diseases and I am not doing well. I had a routine extraction on the 14 of this month and because of my health issues, I can feel what the are doing. I have never in my life felt such pain at the dentist. (They did everything they could to numb me). I had to go back on the 21st because I was having issues with it healing and being in pain. They fixed it repacked it and stitched it back up. Unfortunately had to come back on the 23rd because my packing fell out and again in pain.They had tons of emergency visits yesterday and I wasnt sure I would be seen yesterday. Because of my health issues and pain issues, they told me to come back at 5. They did not want me to have to suffer in pain all weekend. We were there till almost 7pm I believe. I dont know of any place were doctors would stay late. Especially on a Friday. They went above and beyond to help me. They gave their time, patience, skill and compassion when they didnt have to. They have truly been my angels. They never once made me feel like I was a bother or a pain in their butts.I will forever be grateful and I am blessed to have such an awesome team at Coast!

After years of terrifying trips to the dentists, and having nightmare experiences I finally found a Dentist that eases every one of my worries. I went to Coast Dental fearing it would be yet another terrifying experience but I was so mistaken. The office staff were courteous! The Dental assistant was wonderful and the Dentist was phenomenal. Dr. Cruz made sure I would not feel the extraction and was extremely gentle in his process. I never felt a thing. He was kind, patient and completely competent. I would recommend him to all my family and friends!! Thank you Dr. Cruz and staff :) He even took the time to check up on me. I wish I had found him years ago! I cant thank you enough!! :)

I have a pretty good insurance and they were trying to make me pay for about $1200 out of pocket because I needed a Deeper Cleaning. In reality, this is just the same as a plain regular cleaning that should have cost me $0. This is not the first time this happens to me, and Im not falling for this again. They made me loose a day of work while refusing to do the cleaning. These people are worse than a car salesman. Beware of these people. You can tell all good reviews in here were posted by themselves or friends. I guess is time to find another dentist.

I had a broken tooth Coast Dental was able get me in the next morning. The whole staff, was awesome and very friendly. The final result of my new front teeth are beautiful, Im very happy that I called Coast dental. Thank you Dr. K & CC you are great!

My first apt. was 12.27.2018. I got there early and got right in!The young lady that did my X-rays was AMAZING! The Dr. was AMAZING! The second young lady that helped with my impressions was AMAZING! The young lady that excepted my payment was AMAZING!I was there for 7 hours. Fell asleep in the chair while the Dr. was drilling my teeth! I praise them all!The chair seems to have a mind of its own. It would randomly go up and down all by itself. I left with 6 pack abs! Chuck Norris and the Total Gym has nothing that chair!Seriously,I had great experience for being at a dentist. The team was all AMAZING!I am glad I went there.My only suggestion and it is minor, the young lady at the front desk needs to smile and say hello!

The worst dentist place ever been in my life. They take your money they charge you for things that your insurance covers. They give you referrals out of network. Don’t go there

Every time I have a scheduled appointment there is always a problem. Either they schedule it on the wrong day after we agreed upon a specific time, reschedule my appointment without consultation, or mix me up with a different person and give them my appointment. It is also annoying that instead of handling simple procedures all on the same day, they split the procedure up into multiples and segments so they can milk my insurance for multiple appointments.

My wife had a filling fall out and went there for a repair. We are new to the area and it was the closest to us. She called and they said they can fix it right there. Well it ended up being an x-ray and cleaning which we paid for out of pocket for the x-ray because the dentist was not available, so we made an appointment for a month later. The next visit after they cleaned her teeth again they told her the dentist was not available and we had to pay full price for the cleaning and no tooth fixed. I would never go to them again.

Ive been back several times and each time is a pleasure. Theyre very friendly and professional. Everything is explained to me beforehand and they tell you exactly how much things will cost before doing any work. My son used to be terrified of the dentist, now hes 15 so is able to tough it out much better, but inside hes still really nervous. He had a filling today and said that the shot was easy and the drilling - he didnt feel a thing. Very pleased with Dr. Cruz and every single staff member there!

When they refer you, it is always 30 miles away so that they dont have local competition. 1 star is too high, just like their prices. If you like to buy a new car every 6 months, you will love this place, otherwise, not so much.

This place is awful. Expect to spend a minimum of 3 hours waiting past your appointment. They give you a quote of one price, but fail to tell you that its only that price if you buy their special discount plan for an extra $75. I will NEVER be returning to this horrible place

Went in and had my last three teeth on the bottom pulled and got a new set of dentures Feb of 2016 and now a year later I still can not wear new dentures cause they are way to big and I was not informed that I had sever bone loss in lower jaw and lower dentures would not fit. So why did they pull the teeth. Why was I not informed of this. Now I need a bone implant that I have no insurance for and a set of dentures I cant wear. I have lost weight due to not being able to eat a meal in over a year now. Now the pain in my lower jaw has spread from ear to ear. I would never recommend them and I am seeking legal help before I fade away to nothing. Thanks for making my life harder than it was before I came to you. ZERO STARS

I took off from work for an appt that I had set for 10:00 on Feb 18th set this appt almost a month in advance. Recieved a phone call from Coast Dental while I was in the shower. I called back the lady told me that she was calling to c if I was on my way I told her yes I live 2 mins awau at this time it was 9:20. When I pulled up in tbe parking lot I recieved another call and I told her I was in tbe parking lot it was 9:32 she told me that someone had been put in front of me and it will b a 45 min wait..... Really I think not. I was not late my appt was at 10 tgey said vome a little early which I was. Very unprefessional I cancelled and will b cancelling my husbands upcoming appt I will find another Dentist. I could have went to work.. . a whole day wasted for nothing....

I went in with a horrible tooth ache and the dr told me she wasnt strong enough to remove my tooth are you serious, I took the day off work for this and she did absolutely nothing to help me, no antibiotics or anything., u mom also had a bad experience with these people and told me not to go there is should have listened

Let me start that dr. Cruz is an amazing doctor. Very thorough and attentive. I give him an A++++. And I wish I could be back only to be seen by him. The hygienist was also was very nice. My daughter is 7 years old and she was referred to see a pediatric dentist. She only can be seen by pediatric dentist with the referral (per our insurance) which I asked them for. I was given a piece of green paper which appeared to be not a specialty referral (why would I be given anything else rather than specialty one?). Okay. We are at the ped dentistry waiting to be seen. I took time off work, my daughter off school. Came for an appointment only to find out we cant be seen by the pediatric dentist because they have the wrong referral. I tried to reach coast dental on spot (it was Friday an per Google they are open, nobody answered my numerous calls and voicemails). We had to leave with nothing. Not happy! However, I was able to schedule the appointment following Monday. I started calling since 8 am (its Monday and per Google they start at 8). A half and hour of numerous unsuccessful phone calls and voicemails, and my appointment with pediatric dentist coming up at 9 am, I decided to drive up to the place and see if they permanently closed or whats happening?? Nope, they open and happily operated. The two ladies working at the front, doing their work and answering the phone calls. But not mine! I was offered an explanation that front lady was busy with patients or with something else. Please, understand here my frustration. I was about to lose another day of my work and my daughters school if I havent decided to drive up there personally. It is absolutely unprofessional to act this way. They will charge $25 fee for a missed appointment because they value their time, but they dont seem to care about your time. I was billed about $5000 for my treatment and I was going to start it there, as Ive mentioned above Dr. Cruz is an outstanding dentist, but with such unprofessionalism and carelessness from the rest of stuff, I wont be leaving there my hard-earned money. Wow. I have 4 kids and imagine going through something like this with each one 😱 no thank you. In the contrary, Main Street Childrens Dentistry in Orangr City is just. great. They are always hands on to answer your phone call within their working hours and very pleasant to deal with.
