My love for martial arts all started at xf martial arts. For the past eight years Vince has been an amazing coach and mentor. I consider this place my second home. He treats everyone like family and has created an atmosphere where everyone is welcomed. Its a great place for adults and kids to learn martial arts and self defense!

This martial arts studio is great! Sensei Cohen is a master at this art, and his teaching methods are fun and effective! He is amazing with the kids and teaches them patience, discipline, and overall self-defense. After discovering this place, I would never take my kid anywhere else. Oh, and there are adult fitness classes available as well!

After a long 6 years of battling cancer, i finally decided it was time to get back into working out. I decided that private lessons were best for me. Working one on one with Vince Cohen has truly changed my life. This friday will complete my first month at XF Martial Arts and I am really looking forward to continuing with Vince. He has taught me how to eat properly, hes getting me back into shape- which I thought was nearly impossible with all that Ive been through. So far, I have lost 10 lbs and I feel absolutely amazing! I NEVER take the time to leave reviews but I feel compelled to do so for XF. Our son began XF extremely scared and worried, having really never done any type of physical extracurricular activities. He truly did not believe in himself or believe he would be any good. Only a few weeks later, I have seen his confidence soar and his physical strength grow by leaps and bounds. He now requests to go multiple times a week. I attribute his excitement and growth to the absolutely incredible instructors. They took my sons personality into consideration and have helped him immensely. Their ability to understand how each of their students learns and responds is what makes XF stand out. They are acutely aware of each childs needs and their ability to bring out the best in my son is nothing short of amazing. I recommend XF wholeheartedly.

My daughter started attending class with Sensei Vince Cohen at 9 years old after being in several different karate schools. She was watching his class one day at an aftercare program and said that’s who I want to learn from. She enjoyed his classes so much, that she continued on for many years. There were some breaks in between due to knee surgery, and other circumstances, however she has always returned to him and for one very good reason. There is no one better than Sensei Vince Cohen. He not only teaches the children to be respectful, to know the value of work ethic, discipline and leadership, but to also have fun while learning. He is a wonderful role model to everyone of all ages, but in the younger children while having fun he is showing them how to be self-confident, have a positive outlook, knowing right from wrong and this stays with these children throughout life. I know that from a personal stand as I watched my daughter grow with these values placed upon her. Sensei Vince Cohen has a heart of gold and makes his relationships with the students and families a comfortable and personal relationship, not a corporate all business feeling. Walking into XF Martial Arts is like walking into your family’s home. He is warm, caring, understanding and loving to these children as well as being their instructor and mentor. Just so you all understand what a wonderful place XF Martial Arts is and Sensei Vince Cohen as a person and instructor is, my daughter is now 23 and once again going to back to her Sensei for training again. Sensei Cohen runs an amazing program at XF Martial Arts. He is a great leader and teaches his students well. At the end of the sessions everyone relaxes and they play a fun round of dodgeball or other game. When the kids walk out of class they are all smiling, sweaty, and happy. Its great exercise and a great discipline while still being fun. Sensei also talks to the kids about how to react in certain situations and what is the RIGHT thing to do, about keeping up their grades and how to live a good clean life. I wouldnt send my child anywhere else.
