Beatrice and Giana was wonderful. What an amazing team. My favorite gym because of the great customer service. I Love Beatrice attitude and attention to detail. Giana was a very kind and sweet to me. They deserve a raise.

I am a huge fan of Planet Fitness. Ive been to several and the two Military Trail locations in Delray Beach and Boynton Beach are my favorites. The staff is tops in the business ... CLEAN and efficient with an eye for detail. I have never had a single complaint. There is nothing lacking at this gym. Very professional staff who warmly greet you and cause you to feel sincerely welcome and accepted. Wonderful equipment, well cared for and always in good working order. Super clean locker room, showers, bathrooms. The staff really is amazing! The members are very respectful and kind to one another at this gym. There are many elderly who exercise here and everyone is so helpful. I give it the highest ranking and am grateful for such a terrific place to work out!

Theres not really any equipment very small, very dirty people move things and dont put things back but PF not really regulations here. People play around with the lunk alarm more than people are actually slamming equipment.

I am very pleased with the help and equipment at the location I go to. It is very clean, the staff is friendly and available to assist, and I enjoy taking the sessions with the trainer so I can learn the right way to work it out.

Good location and team members are friendly and on point. Just wish they were back to a 24/7 schedule for every day instead of only three weekdays.

Planet fitness is the best. they’re 24/7 so i go late at night which is key for me cuz i’m a night owl. Jessica at the front desk is phenomenal, very warm and welcoming and always answers my questions.

Told the manager that the hair dryer wasn’t working. He thanked me for letting him know. A week later there was a brand new one there fitted.The gym is always clean and all the equipment is like new. The staff are friendly and helpful.Great place at a great price

Top notch equipment and very clean & lots of open space.

Its $9.95 a month and feels like its at least $14.95 a month. This is a decent gym, they have most of what you need, no free weight benches though. I come every morning around 8:30, at 28 years old I make up about 10% of the people here. Average age is around 50-60. My main complaint is it smells like a bathroom over flooded when I first get there.Overall its a great deal for $10, you can upgrade to $17.95 for the black card. This lets you go anywhere and bring guests. Well worth it in my opinion.

Good place, good equipment, but the recent change from being open 24 hours to closing at 10 pm on certain days is kinda inconvenient for me. Was wondering if it will go back to 24 hours everyday.

Planet Fitness in Delray is kept clean, the members are polite along with the employees. Theres tons of parking with a multitude of machines and different types of circuits. The only detractor is that there are no Olympic benches for barbell or bench pressing. Aside from that, around $10/month for an individual gym is a great deal.

This place is very welcoming. Everyone goes in and does there workout. Theres no hangin out or sitting on machines. Its only been a few weeks but I have absolutely no complaints. Great work.

Wow! This location in Delray is nice and the staff is really friendly. I was worried since I moved from West Palm Beach down to Delray the gym environment would be different. This location is actually much nicer, better amenities, and updated tanning beds. Thanks guys! Looking forward to continuing working out here!

Found gym to be very enjoyable. Unfortunately due to covid-19 I had to leave the gym and have been told that I would be getting refunded once my membership expired. I am not sure why they could not refund me a pro-rated price so Im leaving a review and will update it once I know what happens. The gym was very clean when I went and found ple ry of equipment was available for me to use. I liked the staff and enjoyed the circuit training along with the stretch zone.

I used to have a membership with Planet Fitness until this pandemic. When the virus hit hard in Palm Beach County, the gym not only closed, but I lost a lot of work. I was not able to make the monthly payments anymore, so I tried to cancel my membership. That is when I found out that you can only cancel memberships in person! Since I noticed that Planet Fitness was not charging my card while they were closed, I decided to wait until they opened to cancel my membership. I did not realize that they were open again until I saw a charge on my card that brought me into the negative!!!! I went into the gym the next day before work to cancel my membership and to get reimbursed from the last charge and they would not reimburse me because they claimed that I should have known that they have been open for three weeks!!! Mind you, I had not been to the gym at all since they had opened and they would know that because everyone has to check in prior to entering. So obviously this would imply that I was not aware of the gym being open, but they still refused to give me my money back!!! I used to love Planet Fitness but after seeing how they treat their customers during this pandemic I will never return and I tell all my friends and family to never go here either!

Front desk staff couldnt care less about weights dropping and machines slamming. This place is another grunt and sweat meathead gym,. Its a covid petri dish and the temperature is to cold to beak a good sweat. Weights and sweat left on all the machines the manager Mae is cool. pant chipped off machines too.

Its a planet fitness. No thrills workout.They do need to update the machines or fix them as some of the treadmills are a little shaky when you run

I have always felt comfortable at my Planrt Fitness. The proliferation of Covid19 has left me very vulnerable and I feel I need to make the smart decision and stay away for a while.

This is a good gym. It’s not my favorite location.

They are not requiring masks, nor are they taking temperatures...I would have given it 5 stars because the equipment was great and seemed clean. But how are you not protecting your customers?? How are masks not required when the entire county is mandated to wear them? People are drinking from the water fountain! I was confused...cmon Planet Fitness you can do better than this.

The gym is dirty while all employees just standing at the the desk talking and joking for hours. Garbage is full to the top with paper towel all over the ground. The gym look a mess. They just standing there talking with each other and laughing out loud. I think everyone need to do their job to keep the virus 🦠 from spreading. This is unacceptable.

So you recognize that its dangerous but youre more worried about your profits that youre not willing to start protecting us now. You are in the health industry and you are a danger to our community in your mismanagement. I had to leave because its a Corona trap! You should maintain lower capacity. This is an honest review.

Great gym. The staff is always friendly. They keep everything clean and organized. I’ve been to other planet fitness in the area and this one is run better. I hardly ever have to wait for machines, which is amazing. They have all the equipment you could possibly need as a beginner or even if you are experienced. Would highly recommend, especially considering the price.

Planet Fitness is a wonderful friendly accepting place for people on all levels to work out. In this review I want to especially acknowledge the Delray manager of the Planet Fitness Kevin. He always greets me with a wonderful hello and bids me farewell equally warmly. I do not feel like a stranger here. I believe Kevin sets the tone for the entire staff to also be friendly and welcoming. I enjoy the classes and working out in a small group. I love the hydro message bed that I treat myself after every workout. I have been a member for almost three years. And I still love it.

Not a FL resident and visiting from out of state (no not NY). As always the staff is very nice and the place looks like a good place to work out. However once you get in and start to workout you notice the flaws. 1. The mens locker room is disgusting to the point I have had to walk to the department store next door to use the restroom, the staff does its best to keep it clean but its hard to speak for disgusting members. 2. Due to the pandemic a few things that I dont feel are being taken seriously, Population control, maybe I am biased by the location I workout at ( not perfect either but big noticable differences). I went in at 530 am by 630 a bunch of people started coming in and the spaces filled up quick. Which made me end my workout early 3.my club has a staff member at the door who pre screens members before working out. After they have been screened the member gets their own spray bottle when done they drop it off in a giant disinfect container. This one doesnt have anything like that for its members which means I am constantly touching a spray bottle that 40 other members touched. 4.i am glad that they blocked off a certain amount of the cardio machines but what about the weight area? On the cable machines they where completely full which meant 12 people standing within a couple feet of each other. I can go on but Ill keep it at that. Prior to the pandemic I could careless but I dont feel comfortable in these settings. I hate wearing a mask to workout and my club people stand a really good distance from each other unless they are with a workout partner. If this club is allowing people to be in such close proximity then masks unfortunately should be mandatory. Unfortunately will not be using this gym again.

This is a cheap gym. The machines are good but the staff are disengaged. They have a 30 minute work out room but much of the time there are thugs and rude young people just hanging out playing on their phones. Ive asked the staff to police the room better but they havent so I just use this gym for the elliptical and tread mill. Its a shame, if the staff were better this could be a terrific value.

If I could give a negative star I would. I absolutely love Planet Fitness and have been a member on and off for a very long time. This location has very unprofessional staff, well one in particular. She refused to let me use a tanning booth after I was already in the room undressed and ready to use. She laughed, gave attitude, and argued with me. All I want to do is use the gym and move on with my day. She went out of her way to make sure my planet fitness experience was unpleasant. Very poor customer service and I’m not sure if someone like that should represent your company. You will continue to have a lot of fleeing members. Seeing that she refused to let me tan I had to drive all the way to coconut creek location to tan there. Looking at my email this morning I see that she somehow went over my head and cancelled my membership with a forged signature. Again, very unprofessional even if there was good reason wouldn’t management call to speak to me first or investigate what happened?! In all my professional life I’ve never seen anything like this. Customer first? Just saying..

Joined around the holidays during a fab. promo special. Did everything online. All took minimal time, care-free and no apparent hidden fees, words etc...Several weeks later find myself going several x a week. So far, exceeded my expectations. Day 1 I felt comfortable vs overwhelmed like some gyms environments (LA F***ess) From the outside looks kind of generic but ALL about the inside. Clean, very well maintained, spacious, great mix of music, pleasant upbeat staff. Tons of equipment thats easy to find. Nice mix of ALL kinds of people sizes, shapes and ages who seem pretty low key like myself (which I prefer over a gym thats like a bar or scene etc..). Just there to work out/do my thing then leave. Plus, while I signed up for the basic home location plan (can only use 1 location) was told if I move could change to that home location w/out issues and keep the great promo deal I got. Recommend!

So, I left this gym simply because it was too far out of my way and found myself not frequenting it very often.The staff is OK, though not great with regards to customer service. They seem to be doing what they are supposed to be doing, but with much enthusiasm towards the guests.The 24 hours is a great service I wish more gyms would adopt.This gym is clean and seems well run overall. It is also lower cost thanks my other gyms. It doesnt have classes (that Im aware of) and I do not care about that.They also have tanning beds, massage machine, etc, etc. Pretty good bang for your buck.I dont like the lunk alarm; its a bit ridiculous.

Masks are only required to walk around the gym but you can take it out when you are working out? Nonsense, that makes no sense whatsoever, I’m very disappointed with your gym.

The coaches really care and are there to help you reach any goal you have. Whatever level of fitness you are, you are most welcomed!!

Planet fitness is great. It feels very much like a gym for normal people, and they have policies in place to keep it that way. At $10 a month, the price is very good. With the annual fee it comes out to about $150 a year, which seems very reasonable. Personally, I would still only join if you know you will use the membership. This gym has over 6,700 members and is not particularly crowded. A lot of these members must not be regularly using their memberships; they are getting pulled in by the low $10/month price tag and not canceling because there is a $50 cancellation fee.This gym is a great atmosphere for those looking to get in better shape, maintain their current physique, or lose weight. The only type of person I would discourage from joining this gym would be the devout bodybuilder. Planet Fitness does a lot to encourage a nonthreatening environment. They dont seem to want their gyms overrun with bodybuilders, believing it makes the environment more hostile for people with different fitness goals. Keep in mind that first time gym members are the people theyre trying to target.

Been coming here a few weeks and it never smells clean. Ive been to a few other PF around the area and other gyms do not smell as terrible as it does in the Delray location.It needs a deep cleaning.

Would give one star if possible. The staff misinformed me on information regarding my membership, which made me pay an additional annual fee. I tried to explain to the manager what happened, and that I was told I could not cancel at the time and had to come back (which I did and then got charged an annual fee). She said she would figure it out, never did. Never reached out to me. I had to continue calling back- this resulted in me reaching out to the regional manager, who as well, has not returned any calls or emails. Very disappointing in a gym and I will never use a Planet Fitness ever again.

I come fairly early in the morning and there’s frequently no one here to check in or greet members when they come in. Members have gotten into the habit of scanning their own card or proceeding in without scanning. People waiting at the front desk for assistance eventually leave (lost business?). As I’m currently standing at the front, I’ve had several members tell me “yeah, the girl disappears a lot. You can just go in without scanning.” Not sure if this is attempt to save money by reducing labor costs?

They do not explain all the fees to you at point of contact the club manager Bryan Kept repeating himself (we do try to give everyone all the information at hand before registering) Try??? You don’t try you do! I don’t mind paying an annual fee if he would of addressed it to me! He doesn’t really make you feel like he understands and Doesnt sound compassionate at all. I have herd him before say the same response he has given me over the phone. My friend your not a robot to repeat to me multiple times that we try to give everyone the same information.... it’s like speaking to a robot. That would be a peeve to anyone. I’m not an idiot so don’t make me feel like one. I feel like he needs more training on how to approach difficult situations and how to execute them. Other then that as for the gym, if it is a judgment free zone then can we promote healthier things? I don’t mind the pizza, donuts and candy (which is provided here and there) but for people like myself.. we would appreciate healthier snacks. Again its a judgment free zone right? so please we would appreciate it if you accommodate the people that don’t eat those things. Thanks!

Very clean and well maintained. Allways easy to get quick workout. They have multiple of every machine.The hydro massage is a must after your workout.

I like that you can use any planet fitness with membership black card. The only thing they should not charge for is that extra fee they charge once a year. Thats uncalled for.

Go and good place to make you feel better

I did the free day pass and went in the evenings and it was pretty crowded. I want to work out at five in the morning. I asked how many people come around 5 o’clock and they said there’s about 15 early in the morning. That was not truthful. I’ve been several times at 5 AM and there’s at least 45 to 50 people in there. Try to get a quick workout in before work. I thought the morning time might be different. People sit on the machines and wait between sets either talking on the phone or doing nothing. Twice had to wait over 20 minutes to use the machine while someone sat doing nothing. People need to learn proper Gym etiquette. Oh, nobody wipes the equipment after their sweaty bodies have been all over them.

I love planet fitness. I don’t agree with the gentleman that posted about thugs hanging out there. Smh! I’ve never encountered that at planet fitness. The staff is always polite when I see them. Wish I could workout more often than I do.

Extremely clean. Equipment functions perfect.About half of the participants use face masks. The remaining 50% do not wear face mask at any time.Mutual respect does not exist!

I belong here. Its probably one of the best deals for a gym youre going to find. $20 a month comes with unlimited guest passes -- thats pretty killer. Its not the greatest gym in terms of variety or quantity of equipment, but its usually not crowded enough that you have to wait to use something -- and hey, you can probably just do a free weight exercise for whatever particular machine theyre lacking. The amount of dumbbells and barbells could be higher, but unless you curl more than 75lbs it doesnt really matter, now does it? So if youre at that point, maybe join a better gym... but if not, youre perfectly fine starting out here. My one gripe is that there is no regular bench press... there are only smith machines. And we all know it doesnt count if its on a smith machine.

Thevplace is filrhy and should shut down for the vurus. Also, they change workers monthly

I just joined PF, with Coconut Creek being my home location (it si nice there too) last week, but discovered Delray is closer to my house., I love it there,. I got the Black card which is $20 a month, with unlimited use of equipment, classes, the hydro and chair massages, and the body enhancement rooms. Even tanning, but I dont use that. Everyone is so friendly. I am plus size and trying to get to a healthy weight. I dont feel uncomfortable going to this gym, because this gym has people of all shapes, sizes, age, etc. I love it. The staff is always so helpful and I look forward to going back everyday. It is beautiful and clean and maintained. Thank you PF (both locations I have been to so far) for making me feel at home.
