I had to bring my 5 month old puppy Ace to Delray Animal Hospital late last night. The staff was ready and waiting for us as soon as we walked in the door. They all greeted Ace with love and immediately got to work figuring out what was wrong. The diagnosis came quick and so did the treatment plan. All the while the entire staff was checking in on us, seeing how Ace and I were doing. You can tell everyone on the staff here truly cares about the animals that walk through those doors. It was my first experience with a sick puppy and they made it as easy as it could have been. They even checked in with me the next morning to see how Ace was doing. I cannot recommend Delray Beach Animal Hospital enough!

Very sweet staff and very accommodating! I came in same day to get a rabies shot done for my cat and they were super quick to fit me in. You can tell they love what they do here!!! Would recommend 100%!!

I took my partners dog to this clinic, they seemed very nice on the phone, so we drove an hour away to help our fur-baby. when we met the Doctor it was confusing of the options she gave us to treat our little girl who had cancer, she wanted to do a bunch of tests even though I brought her the records of what she had or she suggested to put her to sleep right there and then, we brought our baby back home and the receptionist said if you need any meds call us .The next day I asked for pain medicine as she looked like she was in pain, the nurse and Doctor would not prescribe her anything, they said I would have to bring her back in ( mind you they just saw her the day before,) I asked for a phone call back, the Doctor did not care, she never returned our call. This place is a money making machine who truly dosent care about your pets well being. They dont return calls, if you dont listen to exactly what they suggest, they wont help you with your pets needs even if its an emergency, they tell you to keep coming every day so they can charge you. its a horrible place, I wish I never made that trip.

BEWARE: this place will try to maximize your vet bill and overcharge you. We took our 2 year old dog to them for Kennel Cough. We didnt know what it was at the time, so this animal hospital charged us for everything under the sun. The total bill came to over $1,000. The invoice included a line item Recheck in 7 days for $0.00. Any logical person would think that the follow up visit is included. A week later we brought a perfectly healthy and recovered dog to them for a check up. And guess what? They charged us an additional $30.00 for the visit! Stay away, this place is money hungry.Please note: as fully disclosed and publicly stated by another reviewer (who left a 5 star rating), this animal hospital offers discounts to customers who leave positive reviews. Take their 5 star reviews with a grain of salt and dont forget to check their Yelp rating as it paints a different picture about this practice.

One of, if not THE best experience. The vet gave us a free overview visit. The nurse and doctor took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I saw on other reviews about over charging, they give you all your options and allow you to decide what is important to you and never make you feel bad for not going with everything they recommended. Wonderful experience, thank you all for taking care of my pup.

This Veterinarian office is Top Notch. They are very friendly, they care and they love animals... My cat is well taking care of when we go there, I never have to worry.... Dr. Velez and Nan are the BEST! The other veterinarian is good as well, they all are.... I love this place for my cat... They are very good and care, that is what makes it all with it! I am so happy to found this place!!!

Kind, caring and professional staff. The facility is clean and friendly. I brought my 6 month old kitten here and they treated her with nothing but love. The receptionist Hannah was so kind and got us in so quickly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new vet.

The amount this place over charges is UNREAL. They charged me $183 for antibiotics that are on chewy for $56. That’s not even the half of it... they wanted close to $1400 for the dog I took in (stray) to be spayed and a “possible” termination of pregnancy.Took my baby to another place, she wasn’t pregnant at all and the entire spay procedure was under $300.Nice staff but PLEASE do your research on prices because this place severely over charges.Update because “the owner” answered: the procedure is already completed at a waaaaay more affordable place and she is great. Everything you pointed out was done at the other place for less than $300. You guys should look into “friends of animals.org” because they offer spay certificate for $110 if the vet is working with them. And the mg for the antibiotics were exactly the same on Chewy, thank you. But thank you so much for your lengthy response, seems a bit odd you need to “defend” your prices when if “you get what you pay for” stands.. you wouldn’t feel the need to explain.

I went to the hospital with my little Mia and she had a condition that needed attention right away and they took care of her quickly and efficiently! The staff is great and it is a very nice animal hospital! In the exam rooms, they have tv where funny pet videos are playing while waiting! Highly recommend!

Had a great experience here. The team was very communicative and descriptive of what services we needed, and when to dose for medications. One of the main things I noticed when I first walked in is the office was very well kept. It smelled great and you could tell cleanliness was a main priority. The rooms were big and didn’t feel closed in like most do. The only thing I didn’t like was that they took our dog in the back for his check up and it always makes me (and him) nervous with that. Other than that it’s great! We’ll be back for regular check ups and I recommend it to you as well.

I brought my dog in to have a growth on his chest tested to make sure it wasn’t anything harmful. After they tried to upcharge me almost $1200 I asked them to just test the growth like I asked for so they charged me for that and came back and told me that it was just a fatty deposit and had nothing to worry about.. I went to another vet for a second opinion and have it removed I’m doing so found out that it was a cancerous tumor and that whoever told me it was nothing to worry about obviously didn’t have it tested. This animal hospital only cares about one thing making money not the animals they claim to care about I would not recommend anyone to bring their animals here.

We found a kitten about 3 weeks ago and had been looking for a vet since weve just moved to the Palm Beach areand. We were impressed how professional the staff is; Bret is caring and loved our kitten. The front desk ladies were very nice and professional and Dr. Carabelle was great. Definitely worth the wait to find the right Vets office and bringing my dog next. The cost was reasonable, impeccable office and smells clean and fresh. I am sorry I did not get the ladies at the front desk names...next time. Great place.

A HUGE shout-out to my two favorite persons of the day!I brought my very ill fur baby for the first time to Delray Beach Animal Hospital after being turned away from where I usually take him despite telling g them I had an emergency. They were booked. Things happen for a reason, and Im thrilled that I was turned away; otherwise, I would not have found this place.My first good impression was booking the appointment. I was booked to have my ill fur baby seen within 45 minutes from the time I called, and the young lady was professional but, above all, compassionate.When we arrived, the lobby smells so pretty, fresh, and clean! Two ladies welcome you with empathy and a huge smile. Theyre perfect ambassadors for the business.I was placed in a big clean room. Two tall windows that start from the floor up faced the outside, keeping my dog distracted while waiting for the excellent Bailey, the technician. Bailey was detailed, asked questions, and explained all the steps of taking care of my little one. Teddy, my dog, knew something was up and started shaking like a leaf. I had to leave him for a few hours of treatment, and although I was concern, Bailey took over my little guy like a pro. He did not cry.I LOVED the fact that I could be with my dog instead of waiting outside like other locations and that within minutes they had obtained Teddys records from his previous Vet.Then I met Dr. Rosen. I felt a great sense of relief as soon as she started addressing Teddys issues in detail and educating me in many areas I did not know. My partner and I have been coming here for about six months with both of our cats, during which time we’ve seen three vets and several techs/nurses. Every single person is very helpful and the feedback/suggestions for care are consistent and never feel pushy or forceful. It seems really clear to me that these people care about pets!They give quality care to our little cats (ages 3 and 2) and give insight for preventative home care so we can hold off on vet visits when possible.Great place, great people, definitely recommend.

I called up first thing this morning in a state of panic. Something was wrong with my cat. Rebecca was very good, helped calm me down. And got me in ASAP. Once I arrived, I was escorted into a room. Brett met us, he was wonderful. He was very calming. I can’t remember the doctors name, which is terrible. But she was just as wonderful. They took care of my baby. And kept me informed of the procedure. When it was time to pick him up, I was immediately again escorted into a room where Brett met me. Explain everything. And then the doctor met up with me as well to see if I had any questions. She took her time. Did not rush me. And allowed me those moments to absorb and waited to see if I had indeed any questions.Highly recommend this hospital. It was clean and every staff member was nice

This is the best vet office I’ve ever been to. I took my 15 year old cat here and the team has been so helpful, communicative, and understanding. I’ve been to three vets in this area and this is definitely my new go-to place.

The Dr’s and nurses and all other employees are very polite and thorough. They took very good care of my Dachshund Bella. Appointment are easy to make. I am very happy with their service. They even follow up the next day to make sure she is doing ok. Very professional staff.

Youll be up sold on services, tests and meds. After you take your pet home, youll be contacted to do more testing. Then theyll tell you that they dont even do the procedure you initial brought your pet in there to do. There will be yet another call to send you somewhere else and then the final call telling you to euthanize your pet. Reputable vets with more practical experience, will do an exam and tell you prior to running up a huge bill, if they are unqualified or unable to do anything to improve a pets situation. This place is run by an unsympathetic under 35 crowd with nothing but fake compassion and phony integrity.

Took our 14 year old lab-chow-shepherd mix in for an ear infection. On short notice they squeezed me in and I’ve been going there ever since. Dr. Corbelle knows his stuff and it’s not all about business like some other places can be. Would definitely recommend for the care and treatment of pets.

They were very thorough throughout the exam, everyone was friendly and had no problem answering the questions I had. It’s a bit pricey, but otherwise, one of, if not the best pet hospital I’ve been to.

Dr. Jennifer Rosen, Brett, the entire staff was amazing to our son Cabo. We recently moved from San Francisco and didnt know of any vets but DBAH was the most convenient. Dr. Rosen was extremely thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Brett, the vet tech is beyond words. The entire staff was great. Theres a whole bunch of things wrong with our baby but I believe Cabo is in very good hands. I agree with everyone else about the atmosphere, cleanliness, etc...its a well run, clean hospital.

This is my fur baby Baloo. I am thankful for finding Tara since she did a good job and was the MOST affordable. The last two groomers I used were too costly for me to go to once a month. If I try to bath him on my own, I have caused him ear infections because of too much water getting in his ears. I know hes in very capable hands with Tara. He also comes back to me smelling better than any other groomer ( love the smell of whatever she uses) And she does a great job cleaning his ears too. I look so forward to going every month- will be back again this week.

My dog got sick while I was visiting Florida from New York. The staff were extremely helpful in promptly scheduling my dog Ruby for an emergency visit and made sure to obtain my records from my vet in NY prior to our arrival. Dr. Rosen was extremely thorough, courteous and informative and included me in planning the course of treatment. The hospital called me the next day while I was on the road back to NY to see how Ruby was doing and forwarded all of the visit information and test results to my vet in NY. Dr. Jennifer Rosen, the Front Desk staff including Melissa and the nurse Izzie all deserve special mention for their professionalism, helpfulness, kindness and caring. All charges were completely explained beforehand and there were no surprise add on charges. I highly recommend them!

Highly suggested!!!!!! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about everyone who works here! Walking into the office you can tell it is well kept and very clean. Let’s start with a little back story. My 3 month old kitten fractured his arm severely and had immediate operation to save him arm at another veterinarian office as I live pretty far from delray. The operation took place on a Friday and I didn’t realize their office would be closed through the week. Fast forward to the following day after the surgery my little man got his cast all wet and we were in a rough place looking for a trusted vet to examine and switch out his cast if needed. This was quite nerve wracking for me as we didn’t have post op X-rays and the surgery was literally the day before so his arm was in an extremely fragile state. We came into delray animal hospital and the entire staff was extremely understanding and kind to our situation even though this is not where he got his surgery done. Dr. Landes got my kitty in immediately to see what was going on. They do take your pet into a back room to examine which made me a bit nervous, but with extreme care and precision she was able to switch his cast to a new and dry one. Keep in mind this was shortly after they had closed at 8pm and she continued to stay and work on him with the kindest most helpful and caring attitude. The following day (Sunday morning @9am might I add) I noticed a lot of swelling in his toes and was a bit concerned. Once again Dr. Landes got us in immediately to assess the problem and after examining it assured me this was looking normal due to the extensive surgery he had gone through. Although this office is about an hour from my house, I’m kicking myself for not going directly to her for the immediate surgery. Well, next time we know and we will be coming here more often. I am so grateful for the care, kindness and understanding that the staff show and for Dr. Landes handling everything the way she has. Thank you so incredibly much! I HIGHLY suggest this veterinarian!

First time at this hospital, brought my 2 year old German Sheppard, he was treated like a king! From the reception staff to the nurses and the doctors, everyone knew their stuff and the place was immaculate and spacious. I am definitely coming back! Recommend you try them.

Brand new facility with large waiting room as well as exam room. Our pup was very comfortable with the staff. From making appointment to wait time to exam it was a pleasure. Doctor and staff was excellent and highly recommend.

Beware of this place. If you think you are walking into a veterinarians office, think again. This Saturday morning I brought my cat in to be treated for a bladder infection. The room I was taken into had two chairs, a flat screen tv and no exam table. The man who entered the room introduced himself as a nurse. I think he was only a salesman. At first, thinking he was some kind of nurse, I gave him a detailed explanation of my cats medical history and current symptoms. The nurse-salesman took my cat out of the room in her carrier. Then a lady who introduced herself as a veterinarian came into the room and we talked about my cats medical history and current symptoms. My cat was still somewhere in the back. The veterinarian left the room. Then the nurse-salesman came back into the room with his laptop showing me an invoice for over $1000 for drugs, tests and services, many of which were unrelated and unnecessary. I went down the list and asked him to remove the items which I was not agreeing to. He removed some of the items until the invoice was for more than $600. He insisted that he was not removing any other items and if I didnt agree to pay over $600 my cat would not be seen and treated for her bladder infection. From the beginning I felt very uncomfortable at this place. I declined any treatment. I was charged $45 for an examination/office visit. My cat was never taken out of her carrier for an examination. This place is shady and unethical. They did not take care of my sick cat. Charges of over $600 to over $1000 to treat a cat for a bladder infection are unconscionable. The $45 was worth it just to get out of there. Do not trust this place with your pets life.

Terrible care and service! the front desk young girls are surly, management non-existent and generally just a bill mill. The doctor is young and seemingly inexperienced, I dont think with the capacity to make decisions as she seems to answer to someone else. Go elsewhere if you want quality veterinary care at reasonable prices with a caring staff. Even to get a medicine filled its a whole huge thing that takes 48 hours according to the front desk. Not even large human hospitals are as impersonal and uncaring as this place.

So many inconsistencies in the level of care in this place! Recommendation for unnecessary costly procedures, a few occasions where one thing was promised and another delivered, rude staff, and a general lack of care and concern for clients and their pets. AWFUL experience. I gave them a few months with several visits, and each time I was more disappointed than the last. Now I am kicking myself for lasting this long, but grateful to have found a better vet clinic. I recently spent 1/5 of the projected charges on the same exact outcome, AND without it being as invasive as they had projected at this hospital. RUN RUN away from this terrible poorly run clinic.

I had my dog examined and treated by Dr Tracy Tomasko. The same day I called back with a question regarding the treatment. I recd a call from them the next day (not the same day) I then called and requested the doctor call me back a few days later regarding an eye drop prescription for my dog. I was told that they could not refill the prescription but would get back to me with info as how to proceed. I never recd a call back even tho I called and left messages. I will not use this Veterinarian again.

I am from out of town and I had heard good things about Delray Animal Hospital so I called. They were not only able to fit my pup in for an emergency visit, But they were so incredibly kind, professional and very compassionate! The hospital is very clean and comfortable but the customer service, friendliness and care was top notch! My dog is a fearful puppy and he loved them so much that he wasn’t even afraid the entire visit and exam! That’s a true testament to me! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a new vet!

In love with this place and the staff!!! My puppy and I felt very comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. They are so warm & welcoming, went out of their way to explain everything and answer all of my questions, and the facility is beautiful!! My puppy and I are clients for life!!

I brought my cat in for hypersalivating and stomach pain. Labs, xray, one anti nausea med, and exam came to $725, which i paid because of how much I love my animal. I was told to comeback for repeat xrays quoted at almost $500. The nurse said if I waited any longer they would have to charge me more. I am a medical student and I know what good healthcare looks like. The vet likely cared about my animal but the nurses and non-medical staff seem only interested in collecting as much money as possible and they get hostile if you resist. I feel a little taken advantage of and I am taking my animal somewhere else.(In the past my cat was spayed and needed a repeat surgery to fix sutures and needed several meds and the cost was less than $300.)

The vet was great with Charlie. Andrew was so nice and made me and Charlie feel at ease. Definitely recommend this office. Very nice.

Delray Beach Animal Hospital is a wonderful establishment with an outstanding staff including Jade and Becky as nurses, plus the desk staff. The vets are extremely knowledgeable and patient in answering all questions. I am very impressed with them

I brought my cat in for a paw injury and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The facility was immaculate. Very caring and explained everything to me.

I took my 18 month old puppy there for a skin condition.He was having a few other issues.I was a nervous wreck The dog was fine he came out wagging his tale and seemed very happy .I know he received good treatment while he was in their office.The doctor was great .Explained everything well.The staff also.I would recommend this place for everyone and i am very picky..The next day my puppy had more energy and i know they will always take good care of him.The prices are good too.

Took my pup to get groomed and the staff were all so wonderful and polite. The office is really clean too. Tara did an amazing job!

Can’t say anything but THANK YOU! As our 14+ year old Lab Lucy was having lots of health issues and our regular vet was going to be on vacation and only works 5 days a week and had no referral vet to assist we felt we needed to find a vet that was available 7 days a week. Based on local reviews we reached out to Delray Beach Animal Hospital.All I can say is they took car of our dog and my wife like we had been going there for years. There compassion was wonderful. Lucy had several visits in her last few weeks and they could not have been more accommodating. When the time came to put Lucy to sleep they were simply wonderful, making the awful experience as comfortable as possible for both my wife and I as well as our dog.Thank you...

The day we adopted a dog and brought her home I called the animal hospital after reading the wonderful reviews. I was able to make an appointment for an exam and a grooming ( very needed) the following day. The staff took such good care of Olivia, the groomer was wonderful, the veterinarian was thorough and the receptionist helpful . I have found a support group for my new family member

Everyone was very pleasant and professional. we were taken back quickly and our concerns were addressed quickly. Testing and labs were performed promptly and swiftly. I am very confident and comfortable with care my dog is receiving.

Great staffI was very pleased with the my experience here.I was a bit apprehensive at first because it was my first time here, but after reassurance from the staff and seeing how happy my dog was I will definetly come back for his wellness Checkups!!

Great place to bring your fur babys! Attentive caring and very knowledgeable staff. The Facility is large and very clean and accommodating.
