They saved my pups life! I just arrived here from Nevada, and my pup was there for the entire drive. He wasnt feeling well when we got here, and after a day, (in a frenzy, remember I JUST moved here), and found the Boca-Delray Animal Hospital. From Dr Angel on down, they were able to see him immediately, run necessary tests, and got answers amazingly fast (better than people doctors (Im just sayin). He was treated and released. HIGHLY recommend, and they will be OUR vet, and first friends in the area.

Dr.Angel and his staff truly live up to his name. He and his staff were so kind to Danika and myself. They took great care of her and explained everything in detail. They made us feel so comfortable. I recently brought in our beloved toy poodle Popcorn to have him put down to end his suffering at a very advanced age...the entire staff, especially Terry and Dr. Mann were so warm and attuned to the otherwise difficult circumstances. They explained everything with extra warmth and caring.

Well Dr Angel is a great vet and for his knowledge he deserves a 5 star, unfortunately the office is more money driven than care driven.For the past years we bring or 15 yrs old golden retriever here for lots of stuff even surgeries.If you there for a surgery or something big $ they well tell you don’t worry about rabies vaccine because he’s old and don’t need it no more specially with his kidney disease.Now if you there for something small $ like today we went for a antibiotics refill they will turn you around if you don’t accept them to vaccinate your dog and do this and that to cash cash cash.We will continue our care with our vets on northern Michigan where luckily they’re still more care driven practices left.That’s not the case here in south Florida ...

I’m updating my review to add that Dr. Angel is ignoring my many request for the medical records of my dogs. I believe this is against the law. Clearly this is a spiteful and unethical veterinarian.I am writing this review to share the shocking and disappointing experience I had with Dr. Angel. I had been taking my two dogs to Boca Delray Animal Hospital for several years with many tests, prescription food, bi-weekly grooming, X-rays, etc. over the years and happy with the overall experience until one of them needed surgery. I chose to have the surgery done at another veterinary hospital, even though they charged $900 more for the surgery, because the new hospital allowed me to meet with the surgeon in person, whereas Boca Delray Animal Hospital would not tell me who would be doing the surgery. I also had a second opinion with tests done on my other dog at the new hospital. I planned to return to Boca Delray Hospital for my dogs routine care, Dr. Angel cancelled refused to see my dogs staying it was because I had taken them to another vet.

It’s a shame that a great Dr. as Dr Ángel is surrounded by incompetent and mediocre staff . The worst one has to be “sky” y believe is her name. Rude and no sense of customer service at all . Today they were just trying to get my money when dog doesn’t need a heartworm test until June 23rd . They try so hard to push medicine like there’s no tomorrow. The other lady (older lady)can’t even say good afternoon.I will take my business somewhere and I hope Dr. Angel reads the google reviews because I am not the only one complaining about these type of issues. Such a shame.

This place has a staff that is in it for the right reasons. I found an emaciated pitbull while hunting and nobody wanted to really see the dog to try and help. I called Boca-Delray Animal Hospital and without hesitation told me to bring her in immediately. I got immediate attention and all tests and treatments were done in a timely manor. Ive had the dog less than a week and I am already seeing a vast improvement on her health. Thank you guys.UPDATE: The dog I brought them initially that was just about dying had healthy puppies two months after (had not idea the dog was pregnant). Thanks again for building my dogs health up so fast to have a healthy litter.

I have been using Dr. Angel for my two dogs since I moved to Florida three years ago. Dr. Angel is very knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff is friendly and you can tell everybody there loves animals, so you know your pet is in good hands. They also have a wonderful groomer.

My baby bunny Marilyn got sick and not too many places around work with rabbits (that don’t charge a ton). Dr. Mann and the staff were very kind and he was very knowledgeable and thorough. I was so nervous and scared but he was calm and very helpful and very gentle with Marilyn. I saw some others reviews saying that they were more concerned about money and I find that not true. Walked in 31 years ago, not knowing the doctor or staff and have continued to bring my fur babies there ever since. The office staff is amazing. I highly recommend Boca-Delray Animal Hospital. The staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The veterinarian is an angel. He is the only vet my cat feels comfortable with. He shows a true concern for my cat and her well-being. Im so glad I found this place!

First I will say the positive. The facility had everything available. I was impressed that they were able to get the X-rays and lab work done right there and they received the results while we waited. The doctor seemed nice to an extent. Now the bad. All the prices are extremely, extremely high. The facility was not clean. The staff seemed very reserved, not warm at all. The staff demonstrated very poor communication. When looking at other vets, I now realize that this facility was not really all that great. I personally would not go back here or recommend this facility to anyone. Aside from the convenience of what the facility offered, I was not happy with my experience.

I moved to DRB, FL four years ago and my two orange tabbies are now 15.5 YO. Dont see any compassion with the Animal Hospital of Boca Raton, that you advertise in your website. Someone brought a cat to this facility that was hit by a car on the street, early morning when the place was empty. Instead of providing care or have some compassion, they refused to help or at least to find owners and a possibility to put the poor cat to sleep. Unfortunate, the cat passed away, while this person was begging the vet for help. Although, Animal Hospital of Boca Raton took its body, they at first suggested to dispose the body to another facility, which was far away.I rated one start so I could post this review.

Soo sad that you have a food my dog needs and you could not sell it to me because prescription. I brought my dog one there for emergency..the lady at the front desk asked me if my dog was previously there..and I said yes. She looked and she found him . But my dog needs a prescription to have the food he has for years...You people are ridicoulos..I am not asking for medicine..I was asking for dry food for a 13 years old dog.

I got my dog in January 2018 and he was a young puppy at the time. A coworker recommended Boca Delray Animal Hospital so I looked up reviews, saw they were glowing, and decided to take my dog there. Since January 2018, I have had multiple negative experiences here that are all about a lack of clear communication.1. When my dog turned about 5 months, I noticed white worms in his feces. I took a photo of it, called the vet and explained what I was seeing, and brought him in to get it treated. When I arrived at the clinic, I told them again that I had seen the white worms (tapeworm) in his feces, that I took a photo of it, and that I brought a sample of his feces with us that day. They said they needed to run a fecal test to check for eggs of different types of worms, which was about $35 and would take 20-30 minutes. After waiting (and paying for the test), they came out and told me that his feces were clean of any eggs and that he did not have any worms at all. I asked if they were absolutely sure and explained again that I saw living white worms when he went outside a couple of times and that I had a photo. She replied that if I had told her about the photo beforehand, she would not have run a test because what I was describing was tapeworm and that would not show up in the test she ran. This was very frustrating, as I had explained both on the phone and when I arrived only 40 minutes earlier in the office that I had a photo of the worms in his feces. But it was too late and they had run the test already (and charged me), so all they could do was charge me more for the appropriate tapeworm medicine.2. I had my dog neutered here when he was just under a year old. I had to go out of town for two nights, so I asked if it would be possible to board him for the two nights and neuter him while he was staying there, to which they said yes that was a common thing people did. They told me to expect a phone call following the procedure letting me know how it went and how he was doing. However, I let them know that I would be traveling for work and may not be able to answer the phone, but to please leave a voicemail so that I could have some peace of mind. The day came for the procedure and I never received a call. I tried calling the office when I had a moment later that afternoon, left a voicemail, and did not get a call back. This made me frustrated and worried that something had gone wrong. However, when I picked him up, he was perfectly fine. Getting a phone call or hearing a voicemail as they had promised would have made the whole process a lot more comfortable.3. This vet has some of the most affordable boarding that I’ve seen in the area ($27/night), so when I needed to travel for one overnight (separate time from the neutering), I decided to board my dog at the clinic. When I dropped him off, I was asked specifics on his feeding instructions, medications, and toys. Everything was written on a services rendered sheet with my subtotal of $27 for the one night, and I signed. The next afternoon, I came to pick up my dog and they said the total charges were $58. I quickly suggested there must be a mistake, as my dog was only there for one night. They replied, “Yes, one night, plus the bath.” I said that I did not request a bath, and they replied that baths are mandatory for boarders. Not once when I called to reserve an overnight boarding nor when I dropped him off and signed the services rendered paper did anyone mention a mandatory $31 bath for animals who board. It was also not written on the paper that I signed detailing the services requested.All in all, I do want to say that Boca Delray Animal Hospital always put the well-being of my dog first, which is certainly the most important thing. However, I do feel that there is poor communication regarding services at the clinic. I did not feel that they listened well when I tried on multiple different occasions work with them on ensuring the health of my dog. The staff are fine people - I just feel I’ve had too many hiccups with them and will be finding another vet.

The hospital is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I even trust them to board my pets when I travel. It has been such a joy working with them and I would highly recommend this hospital.

Very good experience from the starting phone call. Chris had very good customer service even though it was the same day. The office was clean, it was a very good experience.

Worst/Best day ever. I wake up, feed, and let my dog (Mikey.)out in our fenced in backyard and leave the door open for him to do his business and come back inside while I get ready for work. After getting ready, I realized he vanished.. he had dog a hole underneath the fence and escaped! We live in a gated community (on military trl 😫)with a cement wall bordering so I immediately start circling our development searching for him. I posted on social media and animal control website but nothing...several hours go by and still no sign of him.. then I get a phone call from his veterinary’s office so my heart drops. Coincidentally, someone picked him up and took him there to keep him safe. They were going to contact animal control to pick him up but the nurse recognized Mikey and called me immediately. Starting the day with one of the worst feeling to ending with my fur baby in my arms with made this a happy ending. I want to thank the staff of Dr. Angels for outstanding care and quality service..and the good samaritan/amazing person who took him in and made sure he was safe. There is still good in humanity.

I read all reviews before taking a new kitty. I am very happy with the experience and feel that Dr. Moses was sensitive to my bugetarily-challenged position. Spent more than I wanted: my choice to have blood tests done. Used a coupon for a free first exam. Thank you for that. There may be a subtle push to purchase tests and products, but McDonalds does that too! Most businesses do that today. I can resist upsizing.My kitten is much better one day after vet visit + medicine. I will return. All employees that I interacted with were great and I am not an employee.

I took my cat here to find out what was wrong with him and they wanted me to drop a thousand dollars for TESTS alone. Not even treatment. He basically said spend the money or uthenize him.I went to another vet and they bring life back to my cat for less than $300 and I had amazing service there.While I was here and trying to explain what was wrong with my cat I continuously got cutt off not even two syllables into my sentence.Plain and simple these people dont care about your pets at all, theyre in this for the profit, take your loved animals some where theyll be loved, not here.

Saw Dr Mann today having dealt with an adopted greyt/lab/retriever mix on Easter Sunday. She began demonstrating true fear- aggression. I have owned 24 K-9s, trained 3 into service for myself, chairbound 18 yrs now, awa 14 for the men & women returning from overseas w/permanent disabilities. Im not certified, I consider it a gift from God & as I will be 70 y/old in a matter of days now, & given the fact both myself awa a personal trainer are in agreement re: her potential, failure is not an option. Im determined to love awa train her to her potential as I see how bright she is, most likely abandoned by a death, picked up on the streets and in a shelter for 11 days. She was kenneled w/a beautiful pitty, I was assured that she got along with other k9s-.& I spent 45 mins alone assessing her & went fwd w/adoption.Once home, inside, loving, would sit, paw or hi five, down, roll over, off, but clearly not leash trained, so either she had a run or fenced yard area. She allowed me to pull up on her, held me steady and was loving & playful. Underweight, malnourished, now a healthy weight.Not afraid of a lg. specialized power chair, a bonus as well. Open the door and shes a maniac! Barking at nothing, highly reactive to birds bugs, geicos and thunderphobic. Valium, benydryl, Tramadol... no more a remedy than the man in the moon! First time I ever had a personal trainer, 7 sessions later, following her direction vigilantly. Progress in training, not@ home. By now I am becoming stressed and sought out this vet.I found his staff friendly, warm and welcoming as did she. Dr Mann spent a lot of time with me and my CNA. Found my dog to be healthy and she responded well to him. THIS IN AND OF ITSELF, IS A PRIORITY for me as her mistress. Having discussed behavioural matters, he did ask if I had considered this was not the right dog for meIm grateful for my choice in this new vet, found him to be compassionate and caring. He prescribed medication for her & told me to call him asap if I saw any side effects other than promising.I would highly recommend this establishment, the Dr and staff. Now I pray we have found a remedy for my precious K-9. Its clean and impressive, another priority all should consider.I am D. Corrieri and proud to be giving this review, which btw, is not common for me. Im going to ask for prayer awa possitive energy to come our way!

We made this appointment due to the good Google reviews. As a first time visitor we used the coupon for a free first exam. We knew our cat had ring worm and just wanted advice on treatments. As we were having a free exam it was obvious that all they wanted to do was make money out of us. During the exam the technician asked if we wanted to have her use the woods lamp to see if the fungus luminesced - there was no mention of charge for this as part of the exam and then we proceeded to have to pay $25 for the privilege of 20 seconds with our cat under UV lamp. We were then advised that further treatment was needed with 4 treatments costing $55 each. This is double what other vets charge for the treatment and they neglected to tell us we could buy the treatment and do it ourselves saving hundreds of dollars. In short, treatment was ok, business ethic is shocking. Avoid if you dont want unexpected expense. In all our free exam cost us $60.
