I was totally impressed with the professional service I received by the staff of Kennedys All-American Barber Club in Delray Beach. I was greeted warmly by the owner and was shown the types if service available. I chose the full service and was promptly introduced to my barber Gregg. We discussed what I wanted to have done, and then he offered me several choices based on his experience. He made me feel relaxed and comforted the entire time I was there. I never felt rushed or pressured. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and I knew I was in good hands. I was completely satisfied and would certainly return again. Thank you for being there.

It doesnt matter who cuts your hair, youll love the entire experience. The staff take such good care of you, from the moment you arrive until you leave. Membership is the only way to go! Ive gotten to the point where my hair gets mad at me if I have to miss a regularly scheduled appointment. The shampoo and hot towel at the end of every cut is the little bit of relaxation I look forward to every 2-3 weeks. And my barber, Brett, has always worked with me to ensure I get an amazing hair cut. When you have short hair, every blemish shows so its hard to find talent that can deliver every time.

If you just want someone to chop your hair off, quick and cheap, DONT go to Kennedys! But if youre someone who can appreciate the experience of a warm, welcoming atmosphere where you are attended by friendly professionals who can meet all of your personal grooming wishes to your personal satisfaction, then for just a little bit more, youll get A LOT more. Try it. But I caution you. If you go once, youll want to go again. Thats what happened to me!

Started coming here over a decade ago, left the area for half a decade and got back 6 months ago. Same quality dedicated barbers and courteous staff. Best part is the membership. For men who like short hair and get a cut once a week youre not going to find any better price for the quality they offer. All the barbers are on point so theres no need to worry If you have someone cut your hair for the first time. But personally I like Tom to cut my hair just because he knows my personal needs and has great barber chair conversation.

My husband and son have been been member at Kennedys for at least 3 years. Sharon always makes them come out handsome! She is a pleasure to talk to. She nearly puts my husband to sleep with her shave. Great place! Give it a try!

Kennedys is a true gentlemans barber shop. It is run like a well oiled machine that any man or young man/boy can visit. My husband, sons, and grandson all go there and come home feeling fantastic. Tom does an excellent straight razor shave and haircut. It is THE SPOT to go. Friendly staff, great environment, with music and all kinds of sports on TV. They are always on time and scheduling appointments is a breeze.

They guys at Kennedy’s have been doing a fantastic job cutting my two teenage sons’ hair for at least five years. They keep up with trends, give a concise cut and are very friendly. We recommend the shop, the staff and the quality of their cuts!

Recently had an awesome haircut with the new guy Christian. He is an amazing barber..super tight taper and a one of a kind style. Exactly what I asked for. Would highly recommend. He obviously has been trained by the best in the business certainly not your run of the mill barber.

Gregory, is a barber first and a teacher second. He fixed what Lanzettas managed to destroy. I take pride in my hair & beard. Gregory, taught me about combing my hair properly and beard shaping as well as beard growth. He offered me techniques on how to properly trim my beard and where to go, if i could not cut with him. He does sell you and you will spend more than anticipated but, its worth it. I left there looking and feeling like a million bucks! I have never had my haircut exactly the way i wanted before. Gregory, managed to do exactly what i wanted with little to no suggestion. His knowledge and experience shines through. This gentleman loves his craft which is something to take into consideration. He is not a barber but, an artist. Thanks Gregory!!!!!

I took my elderly Uncles there for shaves for around two years. We only stopped because one Uncle couldnt handle the trip across town. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The monthly membership is a good deal. We paid yearly and saved even more. They cut hair and shave disabled clients as well.

Amazing service, they have a flyer that states how you feel, and sure its right. Feel like a gentleman and get treated by professionals. Been on so many bad situations and Danny who randomly got me, did an amazing job. My hair is extremely difficult but they did it right, DID NOT EVEN TRY TO SELL ME 1 PRODUCT. Peace of mind, just sit and relax while you get fresh out. Quality for sure, ended up getting the membership as it makes the most sense.

Greg is a master craftsman and Im grateful he was able to fix what had been done. Never have I felt more confident that I would step out of the chair feeling satisfied with my cut as I did today. I will always come here whenever Im in Delray. Great service, great knowledge and a great cut.

Thought theyd be doing a better job for such a fancy look alike place. We were pretty disappointed with the result, cheaper place wouldve done better. Thought it was kinda sarcastic that you had to make an appointment before coming when their commercial/ad had mentioned Walk-ins are welcome. If you go, go for an appointment with the guy with the best experience. You might get a better job done then.

About my barber:I want to start by saying it is a nightmare to find a good barber these days but I finally found one. JURRELL is the man at the Delray Beach branch of Kennedys. He has the fade down to a science and there has never been an alteration that I felt uncomfortable to tell him. He is a class act for sure and very professional. I am always receiving compliments from people and my wife loves the feeling of a nice fade on the back of my head.Now about the actual place:$55 a month for endless haircuts is UNREAL!!!!! Dream come true if you ask me. I was used to paying around $18-$21 a haircut and going home to pull my clippers out and clean my hair up. Not the case here. This is a comfortable establishment and every time I go in there I find myself in a good conversation and leave satisfied. When you arrive there is a leather sitting area with magazines and you WILL BE offered a refreshment while you wait. Water, soda, beer, wine, etc. Then you get your haircut, beard trimmed, etc. Then you tip your barber and you are done unless you pay per haircut. I highly recommend becoming a monthly member. My first and LAST time at Kennedys All-American. The WORST haircut in my life. The barber who attended me seemed to be his first day out of Barber school or have received his Barber diploma inside a Cereal Box. He Kept dropping his tools on the floor several times. From a supposed ½ inch trim went to a 1+. I repeated and warned him of keeping the length to a small trim. I thought the longer than usual session was part of a “quality work” at this barbershop given that it was my first time, but I released to late that he had messed up the back so much that he kept figuring out how to get out of his mess that I could not see. After ONE HOUR (for a basic haircut) I had to tell him to stop.

Im very torn writing this review. You can tell its a premium shop from the moment you walk in. Very exclusive. Beautiful leather chairs. Intimate setting.You are offered a drink choice with personal service while you sit. My son and I had appointments at 2 and 2:30 both with Christian. I was really digging the place without even knowing what they charged.I managed to take a glance at a price list behind the receptionist and saw it was either $35 or $32 for mens cut? Student (my son) was $27? Seemed disproportionately more expensive than the going market rate of about $20 bucks even for premium looks and service. Adding a $5 premium would have been fair. Maybe even $7 to $10.Christian is a veteran haircutter. 40+ years in the business. And yes he has nice hair a nice beard himself. He gave both my son and me excellent hair cuts! Hes intuitive friendly and very professional. The premium service also includes a free shampoo wash (yet some regular shops like Aces in Boca Raton also include that service for $20 bucks and Bella of Aces is also one of best.)So heres why Im torn. I was actually mulling over a membership plan of $55 a month for unlimited haircuts when my son was seated.He was only due for a haircut but asked Christian just to line up his beard as well. Not even a trim. Just to line up the edges which probably takes a minute or two at most. When you go for a beard trim they are usually using straight edge, a hot towel on you and hot lather from what Ive witnessed in other shops. My son was also told about the free shampoo wash.Towards the end of my sons cut he was asked if he could do a favor and forgo the hair wash as there were two people waiting. My son isnt a hard ass like me so of course he said fine- no problem. . So no hair wash. But the kicker was that we were charged full price for a beard trim $20. So it was injury added to insult.All tallied up the tab for what essentially two haircuts came to about $79 with two $5 tips came to $89. Very expensive.We were new customers mulling over the membership. They could have easily converted us. I was annoyed because if your claim to fame is that you are a premium service and treat your customers like royalty then you dont scrimp on that service and ask your customer to do a favor and decline the hair wash because you have others waiting. Everyone waits. Its par for course. I dont mind to wait for premium service. Those customers probably would not minded either because the environment is super comfortable.Perhaps it was just a series of unfortunate events. But thats what happened.

I will not make the mistake of coming here again. First time here, place looks clean, looks nice and is conveniently located. I was pretty tired when I came here, my normal barber shop was closing soon, so I was in no mood to argue. Just wanted a simple trim. Barber asked me how much off the top? Responded that I wanted to keep my hair longer, he suggested 1/2 an inch.Ok....I must measure 1/2 an inch differently than he does because he cut my hair down to about a 1/2 inch instead taking it off the top.Normally I wouldnt even bother to write a review such as this. You would think if they are going to apply shaving cream they would know what they are doing. So instead of asking me if I wanted shaving cream, he decided to apply it and then proceeded to cut me behind the ear.So after all I wanted was a trim, I ended up with a short hair cut and a cut on my neck, and that cost me a ridiculously overpriced $32.Lesson learned. Next time I will just wait until Darbes Barber Shop opens back up.
