I dont get whats going on in this place. I called to get a new quote, never got a call back. Called again, was told theres only one person working?? Then I get a quote emailed to me and its got somebody else! Get your act together. Im getting my stuff transferred to another more reliable agency.

I was looking for home owners insurance and was talking to alot of different people and great florida insurance got the job done. I recommend them highly.

John was very helpful at first but over the last year I have not received any responses to emails or phone calls.

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. 1 rep (will leave name out of it) was totally useless and couldnt do her job in a professional manner. The owner John starts off great and then everyone, including him disappears. I would give 0 stars if I could. I have been leaving voicemails and sending emails for over a month now to get some info that John is withholding from me. They have also claimed they sent my insurance into my mortgage, yet my mortgage shows that they had to get me insurance due to my insurance through ASM ending. Would never recommend this agency to anyone. They are all completely useless.

Miserable Florida Insurance. Don’t let this company fool you into thinking they’re something they’re not. Initially the owner, John, is very involved and genuinely seems to care about getting you a good quote, that is until you get an unexplained premium increase for $400 more a year and suddenly no one in the company is able to be to found. 5 calls in to discuss the notice I received, now I just want to reach someone to cancel my policy.Hey John! Feel free to give me a shout if you have a moment! Thanks!**Update**3 months of getting the run around from Jessica (who is absolutely incompetent) and still got nowhere. In the end I couldn’t even cancel the policy and had to have my mortgage company get involved to close out the policy and have a new company take over. You guys are a joke and are not qualified to write business.

Always ready to provide information and service as soon as someone gets off the phone. Very pleasant when they inform you that your provider insurance rates have gone up again year after year. Extremely proficient in returning your phone calls within a few days, and always let’s you know that your payment is due within the next few days or you will be without coverage. We’ve been happy consumers for over 7 years and look forward to many more.

Horrible lazy insurance agent. John Macatangay is not reliable to take care of your insurance needs. He is not knowledgeable about insurance quotes, uneducated, untrustworthy, dishonest, not consumer friendly . Do not waste your time with time doing business with him.

I thought I was getting a good rate for my auto insurance policy, indeed it was much better than the rate I was getting with Lib Mutual. But a friend referred me to GreatFlorida Insurance . John Macatangay. was able to offer me a much better rate with Progressive. I was shocked at how much I was overpaying. John was most helpful and actually had the quote for me in a matter of minutes. I called all around South Florida to find a better rate for General Liability for my Construction Company, and at the end of a week I called John back realizing I was already working with the best company.

To be honest I didnt compare this insurance agency or its quotes with others. Based on my past experiances with insurance agents/agencies I felt comfortable to complete the process solely with John. I never felt like anyone is selling me something and it was handled at the highest professional level. John tailored the best coverage for my property and educated me about the policies. When it comes to insurance you get what you pay for, for me it was more about being handled by a professional if something happened.

John was so easy to work with and saved us hundreds of dollars on of our homeowners insurance for our rental home in Florida. He also showed us how we can save on our flood insurance, even though we cant switch it until its time for renewal. He researched and showed us the savings while our current flood insurance agency didnt bother. We also live out of state, and as a teacher it is hard for me to answer the phone, so John worked around my schedule and our inability to come into his office.
