I think the Del Rio post office, Postal Service and their employees pretty much have bad customer service, can’t seem to find my packages and we had to cancel our magazine service because our magazines weren’t making it to us. They are inapt and half the time they don’t deliver when they say they’re going to deliver.

Terrible customer service i build a new home in de cienegas terraces got the new 911 address went to post office to get my key for my new mailbox its been over 3 months and still havent got the new key cant receive any mail everytime i go to post office they just keep saying that next week next week your keys will be ready .... weeks has turned into months this is the worst us postal service ever

No mail delivery to the Cienegas Terrace area in almost 3 weeks with no explanation whatsoever. Just excuse after excuse about the carrier. Why not ask residents to pick up their mail instead of letting it build up to the point there is so much backed up mail it no longer fits in our mailboxes and it becomes undeliverable? So many people have important mail they need, including paychecks and sensitive government documents. This situation is ridiculous and needs to be addressed. 👎👎

We have had really horrible postal delivery service for the past 13 years here & I thought that when Fred Contreras became the new postmaster in 2017, we would see improvement. But No, things have gotten much much worse with Fred Contreras. I do my best to never shop anywhere that uses the USPS as delivery because getting a package from the Del Rio post office is almost impossible and no one ever answers the phone there and you can send fifty re-delivery request and a 100 emails but you will NEVER receive any kind response. We just need to shut down the Postal service and start over again, because at this point there is no fixing it. THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. If possible, I would give ZERO stars to the Del Rio post office.

This post office consistently loses packages. Tracking site says delivered as always but nothing is ever in the box. We have tried everything including going in person and speaking with the management. Without fail packages get marked as delivered but nothing arrives. This has happened for the last 2 years...there exists no accountability at this post office. How this continues without correction is beyond me. Read the other reviews and see that this happens to everyone.

I stopped by just to pick up some express mail boxes. Because people in the parking lot were slow I got inside at just a few minutes past closing time. There were still 3 people at the counter. A man was standing at the door with it locked. I asked if I could just simply grab a box to go. He yelled at me that it was after closing time and they were closed. I said I realize that but I just need a box. I asked very nicely. He again yelled at me as he pulled the curtains closed and refused to speak directly to me just repeating that they’re closed and walked away. Extremely rude. This is the 3rd time I’ve been in this post office and that man is always extremely rude!!! Not ever going back there!!!

Long line and one window open at peak afternoon hours. This place is consistently a very sad and a pitiful place to do business with.

Everyone at the post office counter is very professional and helpful. I have never had any problems shipping or mailing anything.

All of the workers here are always prompt & very friendly.

Honestly, Im shocked they even have 2 stars. I dont even feel bad the postal service is struggling right now. Worst customer service, EVER!!! They Have lost multiple packages, they refuse almost all of our packages that they dont lose, and when I ask for help they shrug you off and tell you idk.... Rude and incompetent. Taking my business to UPS where they value customers.

When are the postal carriers going to be corrected that 2800 Veterans Blvd Del Rio Texas 78840 is not the Aster Villa apartments. That address belongs to Palomino Mobile Home Community residents. The correct address for Aster Villa is 333 Yucca Trailer Park Rd, Del Rio, TX 78840 with their apartment number. Please if your carriers are not familiar to who a package belongs to, leave a slip in the mailbox to be picked up at post office, so that the package that it belongs to goes to that person.

I went for my sons passport. The clerk was very helpful. It would help if they can offer copy services that way you dont have to go out just to make one copy.

Rude is the simplest way to put this. Went in to sign and pick up mail keys and was told I had to wait 7-10 business to do so. It didnt make sense to me asked why and had no answer every where else Ive been its taken 1 to 3 days. when I asked what would happen to my mail I was told you can put it on hold so we dont return it. Then asked if I could pick it up while on hold lady working the desk told me no. the gentlemen told me I could in three days. in consistency is everywhere. So to not have my mail returned I put the hold and was told they would keep all my packages there. However Im receiving emails stating that my mail is waiting in my box. when i tried call the office to see if me keys were ready I called the number provided off the USPS website and took calling 3 consecutive times to get a response just to be told the only person that can replace the locks to set up my Mail box is on Vacation. What happened to having good customer service from the USPS. This location in Del Rio needs to be scrubbed from the poor workers and give the position to those who want to be there.

This is the worst post office ever. The inconsistency is unbelievable and I just don’t understand. I have placed my delivery preferences on my account to deliver to my door or leave it in my mailbox. They have delivered to my mailbox once or twice, stopped, and now just leave me a notice to pick it up myself meanwhile whoever delivers on my route will gladly drive to other apartments in my complex and deliver to their door everyday but have never delivered anything to my door. Frustrating.

Jen, Steve, Veronica, CJ, Jessica and everyone that works at the counter on Bedell are friendly and have always helped me with my shipping needs. Zero issues for quite some years now. Having a prepaid label or package ready to ship makes everything easier and faster either shipping within the states or international. For holding packages, I would recommend to call in advance as soon as possible to prevent issues. Thanks again guys!!

The postal workers are always so friendly and helpful! I never feeling like Im putting them out by asking a question or if Im not sure about how to do something.

I recently had my roommate transfer her mail to her new address and mine was transferred by mistake. I called the post office and they were so nice and apologized plenty for the misunderstanding. They definitely had excellent customer service and fixed it immediately.

Had a key in my mailbox but it didnt work to unlock 1pw? I called the PO on Bedell Raul answered and he was very nice he took my number and said he would call back. Within five minutes he called back and said he had reached my carrier who said he would pick up the key and deliver my package to my house. Problem solved ! Thank you so much! K. Loch

Post master Fred is meaner than a pack of rattlesnakes!!!! Most unprofessional post office Ive ever seen. He definitely doesnt need to work there. I dont know how he keep his management position.

The worst USPS office ever. They can’t manage simple tasks and it blows my mind that this post office has lost, sent back, and forwarded mail after I put in my change of address. I have lost all faith in the postal service and this post office is to blame. You have one job! Deliver mail to the right place and if you don’t like your job get a new one.

Called in this morning, 3 times, to schedule an appointment for a passport, placed on hold to be transferred but ended up disconnected. After the third attempt, I had to drive from the base to the office where the receptionist, who I did not speak to on the phone, told me that appointments can only be made on Mondays (today being Friday). How come the receptionist has the correct information yet the incompetent fool on the phone didnt? Wasted an hour this morning and took time out of my work schedule to find out it was all in vein. Not to mention the website has Monday to Friday. Im calling the supervisor later after I cool down and give them this information. Terrible customer service, but the office lives up to the negative reputation Ive heard from others.

Friday, end of the day right at closing time when everyone wants to go home and they still handled a few more customers past 4:30 with smiles and friendly service the whole time.

Says it opens at 8:30am and didnt open till 8:50am.. then had to wait 10 more minutes for them to take costumers..

I called the post office yesterday trying to make them to hold a package so I can pickup the item my self and they still send the package to the address where I dont leave anymore depressing.

The worst post office delivery ever!!!! I pay extra to get priority mail packages on certain days NOT ONE PACKAGE HAS BEEN DELIVERED ON TIME!! MAY BE MY POSTMAN. I LIVE OUT ON THE VEGA VERDE WHO EVER MY MAIL CARRIER IS ITS TIME TO RETIRE!!

Worst post office Ive encountered. They hire numnuts straight out of highschool. They pick up the phone without greeting and have many managers. Their drivers dont leave package notices - so you have to guess when your package arrives.They are slow, careless and unprofessional... I get better service at McDonalds than these clowns.

We had an appointment for my passport at 12:00, but we were supposed to be ten minutes early. The lady who we’re supposed to have our appointment with left to go out for lunch and has yet to return, it’s about to be 12:30. There’s another woman who had an appointment as well at 11:30, she’s been here since 11:00 and has yet to have her appointment. Lazy and incompetent staff.

Living in Del Rio for barely a month and had 5 packages not delivered. Had to make the 20min drive to the post office to figure it out every single time because they wouldnt fix it over the phone. The delivery guy doesnt ever leave delivery slips or put packages in the package box-- they just choose not to deliver it and then the website says your mailbox was full/too small. Well of course the mailbox is too small-- thats why they make package boxes! Worst customer service Ive ever dealt with!

Very unprofessional, especially, the Bedell office. The representative gave me the wrong information and was very rude and brief. Very incompetent group.

Had several packages go undelivered, also have had my packages put in the wrong mail box several times, and for the last three days in a row I have had someone elses mail in my mailbox, what the heck is going on?

I dont know but everybody else is burning em so.....
