One time I picked my dog up from the groomer and didnt bring my credit card the Manger told me because Im a great customer and always shop she said dont worry about it bring it when i come next time. I came back within 30 mins but that was so nice and appreciated

A lot of cute fuzzy animals (some non-fuzzy and scary lol) and nice and helpful employees. I wish I could remember this ladys name.. she was super nice and she assisted us pretty much the whole time and helped us decide which pet to take home.. she also knew a lot about the hamsters, gerbils, fancy rats, guinea pigs, and more.. great store-great people!

The grooming salon team is always great with my Furbabies! I have been using this salon for over 2 years for my 5 fur kids and they’ve always done a fantastic job and showed lots of love to them while in their care.The store is always helpful with questions I have and with pricing issues I may have. The Pet care team was extremely helpful when I recently adopted a Guinea pig from them.

I had my 2 doggies bathed. They did a great job. We just moved to Alabama and this is our new home store.and we love it. Awesome crew!

My pup had to go see the vet and on the way back there everyone spoke to us. After his vet visit he of course went to the toy isle and picked out his stuffed animal. He carried it to the register and the cashier toon it from him and gave it back to him after he rang it up. Very pleasant trip.

Recently adored a puppy and weve gotten most of supplies here. Helpful staff and good selection. Also got his first shampoo and mask trimming. Groomer was great with him.

They have all the accessories you need to go with the pet of your choice. Join their Website membership for free and get discounts on purchases. I got my daughter a hamster ball for her hamster at a sales price without having to order off line, or searching other places.

My dogs appointment was at four. I arrived at 3:40pm to be told told at 5:30 my dog hasn’t been started on. Received another call at 5:45 saying the dog will not let the groomer dry him (which we never had issues at the groomers). So now he won’t be ready till 7pm. This is ridiculous, as the groomer constantly is stepping outside to smoke her vape. Never again will he come here.

Wish I could say I like it, but I dont. They barely have any animals or anyone who knows anything about them. The dry supplies are ok if you just need a bag of cat food, but its the most expensive place in town to get it.

They have a good variety of items and friendly staff.

It makes me unhappy to look into their dumpster and see bags of dog food and cat food cut open to throw away. Cans of food and cat food unopened. I am sure that its probably a company policy

We had a great experience here at this location. Everything was neat and tidy, easy to find and the associates were very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was some placemats for dog bowls were listed on the shelf for $4.95 a piece and I needed some for my new pup, so I put them in my cart. When I got to checkout they rang up for $9.99! Which I didnt feel comfortable paying that much for a dog placemat and especially when they were listed as $4.95. When I explained this to cashier, she immediately said I can fix that and sold them to me for the price listed on shelf, so we did take them. I appreciated the way she handled the situation very much. Then the next weekend we were at the Cullman location and I saw the same placemats in the same type of tiered shelfing and they were also listed at the Cullman store for the same price of $4.95.... Odd and a little concerning, so I feel like I will always have to pay attention to make sure that when I choose items, I have to make sure the price doesnt change and go up, once I get to the checkout. We spent over $200 with everything that we needed for our new puppy, that we just had rescued hours before and so far 2 weeks later everything we have purchased has been great quality!

I really love to buying in petsmart, always have a great costumer service and prices, in petco I dont feel welcome, because all ways the cashier give me some intrude for everything and made my feel like trash can, I couple times different costumer service its the same, never offers a help and if you call them acting like they dont hearing, so if need something I back to petsmart, good price and happy costumer service and all ways made you feel welcome and be happy you are there!!! Have been out of stock the past 3 times that I have been looking for a specific item they carry.

They overcharged my niece on her yearly package that includes shots and spay and neutering and other things. But it was almost $450! My niece is 16 and works at BK and we went over everything and they had overcharged her almost $180! Why? Because she was 16 and loves her new kitten. Plus this package is only yearly. Thats enough money for a cats whole life. My advice. Take what the animal shelter offers.....

Hi Im Roscoe mommy Cynthia. My fury baby Roscoe and I had the best first time experience with PetSmart of Decatur on Saturday Aug. 8, 2020. When I say a first impression and lasting impression. Well PetSmart did just that. I will tell anyone who have fury babies. Rather if you are a first time fury baby parent or been a fury baby parent for years please go to PetSmart of Decatur trust and believe you want regret that you did.

Always find a treat/toy for my furbabies besides their regular food

I was able to get items I needed immediately. I was in a hurry because my new baby was able to get spayed a day earlier than expected, so I had to get to the shelter before they closed to pick her up. The staff helped me find what I needed and also helped with sizes. What really surprised me was, when I walked in the door I asked about coupons for the food brand I wanted, and they had a $3 off coupon! PetSmart impressed me.

Bella is the only one who can cut my poor scared Yorkies hair. He is so difficult but she does wonderful and is so sweet!

Great place to get pet food

This is a great place for pets. I always stop and see the kitties That are up for adoption. I also check out the lizards. The staff are really friend and knowledgeable. The only complaint I have is the food selection for cats is limited. I have brought my cat up here multiple times. She loves the smells and watching the birds. Its one of the best places for cat toys.

I bought 15 feeder minnows and 1 rubber nosed plecostomus. 5 days later and I am battling an outbreak of ich in the tank. Not happy about it either.

Love this store. The people here are very kind and friendly. They really love what they do and are very helpful and informed. They have a Banfield Vet located inside. I have taken 3 dogs to them for health and check ups. Also, their Grooming Service is Outstanding.Very loving and attentive to each animals needs. I and my pets are very Happy and Satisfied with their services.

The store isnt bad, but I have bought pets from here several times that have all died within a week or so. Yes, I know how to take care of animals and I research the animals very well, it seems like most animals they sell are sickly. Other than that, the store always looks nice and has a nice atmosphere.

The PetSmart in Decatur is awesome. The employees are really nice. Taking our puppy there for training which is helping so much!! The store is always very clean, organized, and well stocked with a great selection.

They are consistently helpful and skilled. We go here for all our doggy and fish needs. My long haired mix-a-shiz-a-something has been groomed there quarterly for over 4 years. Our big dog hates getting her nails done, but they got it in paw.Be sure to check out the seasonal shampoos. :)

Pleasant experience with the employees at Petco. However, dont by any fish. Their African cichlids are not healthy. You would have to know what to look for in order to verify. Other than that 👍

Love to take my dog Bella to PetSmart! Staff are friendly and usually give a free treat. Also if there are new products you can ask if they have samples and if they have them they are glad to give them to you. Lots of different animals and creatures to choose from if looking for a pet but our family prefers to rescue pets.

Everyone there is is very friendly and helpful. And theyre really good with the pets in the grooming department. I have not had any problems with them and I am very protective with my dog.

I went in for 5 cat beds that were on sale when i called they said they had some beds,then when I drive 20 milesThey said that the bed that was on sale was pink and the didnt have any left I told them the same bed was on the shelfThey were rude and told me I could go an hour away and get a bed at the Huntsville shop but they only had one and they werent sure if it would still be thereI wasnt going to drive an hour away for a 10 dollar bed that was on sale for 5 dollars and I needed five bedsThey had the same bed there just in a different color I feel they could have honored the five beds that were thereDisappointed

Took Max here for his first public bath, and haircut, and pedicure, needless to say he was a fussy budget, but the girls here handled him well, I kept telling him, dont show your tum-tum, thats like taking your clothes off on a first date, but oh well, they got him down, and he surrendered his paws, thanks ladies, his name is Max, not Lucky!

We went to buy something to put our ferrets in for show and tellwe were behind a couple in line and there was no one else behind us and the entire store was completely empty because it was late the lady at the checkout line was having a animated conversation very friendly and loving with the customers who were in front of us and she was uninterested in us in every way she was completely ignoring us minutes went by and I looked at my sons and I said are you kidding me loudly loud enough for the girl to hear us she proceeded to look up look directly at us and then look right back down at those people then pull her phone out of her pocket and start looking through her phone to find pictures to show these same customers then proceeded to start showing pictures from her phone to these customers at which point I said are you effing kidding me which isnt something I would ordinarily do in public or to another person in public she ignored me again and continue to visit with her customers who also ignored me they were all so busy talkin the only thing that made this worth it is a member of management happened to come in the front door and I asked them if they could check us out and she did and she was very kind and I told her what happened and she made it right with us and she told me that she would counsel this lady and I hope that she did

Flash hates to have his nails trimmed, the girls are great with him and they get done quickly, Flash gets a treat and hes happy

The staff here is very knowledgeable and helpful. We had trouble getting our new fish tank started, and they were able to help us a lot.

Petsmart has a wide variety of brands as well as knowledge in its staff. I have had a bit of help when making decisions and was never steered in the wrong direction. Prices are my only real issue when it comes to animal health and luxury.

Service here is hit or miss. They gave me a run around about if they did or did not have a certain aquarium stand in stock. Inventory indicated online is not accurate at all. Lots of dead floating fish in tanks.

The prices in here are totally insane! Many items can be found at Walmart or Target for a fraction of the price PetSmart charges. Ill never go in the store again.

Has everything you could possibly need for your pet. Banfield Vet (inside) is also awesome. Everyone is friendly and extremely helpful. They also have a great grooming salon. Offer great discounts to returning customers!
